They do not cover Children's Hospital in Milwaukee, and we're now learning that they offer no alternatives. We've only had this insurance for 4 months and are already being forced to drive to Madison instead of going 5 min down the street to have my 3 year old's tonsils out because Children's is the only hospital in southeast WI that will admit her for her surgery. If you have kids, DO NOT CHOOSE WEA TRUST if you live in or near Milwaukee.

Was put on hold by customer service for over 10 minutes for a simple request that should have been easy enough to respond to by pulling up my offices NPI number. Instead it seemed like she didn't want to be bothered and asked me to hold and I've been on hold ever since. I think she wants me to hang up. Extremely unprofessional.

Beyond terrible! If you have any choice at all, don't choose WEA! Terrible service, prices and communication. They need to be investigated by the Wisconsin insurance commission! The ineptitude of this company is immeasurable!

Because I have numerous health conditions I have been assigned to a nurse health manager. Her job is to save them money. Unfortunately I have suffered numerous times because of their attempt to have cost savings. I'm immunocompromised and they mandated I go into clinics to have my wound care done because they felt home health was too expensive. I went to the clinic and a few hours later I had an infection and allergic reaction. I had a new procedure which required home health to teach me skills to do port access and they gave me 2 visits with the nurse to learn a sterile technique for a procedure many nurses arent specifically trained in and many lay people never do. I got an infection even with my nurse helping me on the first visit. Then they gave me one more visit with her and I was on my own. But when on my own I completly passed out and found myself on the floor. I'm still struggling and going through it alone, but now that they know I passed out and maybe have a safety issue they are going to look into options. I have had multiple issues with prior authorizations and Im facing paying over a thousand dollars out of pocket. I do have to give them credit though because I had been waiting 2 years for an oral appliance for apnea and there was nobody in network within 2.5 hours to do it. They did make a single case agreement so I could have it done only 10 minutes from my home. For now, I'm stuck with the plan at least 1 more year because they are the only plan that offers UW Madison hospital and clinics. I have rare conditions and my specialists are there. I'm due to have surgery this year so I'll need to access my specialists at UW for post surgical care needs. Hoping for flexibility and that they honor my needs for safety.

Truly awful insurance. First, their henchman Magellan denied my therapy for my knee against the advice of my surgeon since I was able to sit and work at my desk. Then authorized an MRI for my wife and then said after the fact it was out of network and we should have known. Don't care whatsoever about their customers. Update: never heard anything from Customer Service as stated below. Not surprised...
