The staff was amazing! They went out of their way to accommodate me, and make an exception for me when, I'd left my Visa and reservation confirmation at home. I am incredibly grateful for that.

Another staff member went out of his way to search the storage room for a playpen, at midnight, when the full-sized bed just wasn't working for our toddler. I owe him 8 solid hours of sleep for that!

Housekeeping was always friendly and cordial in the hallways and common areas.

The pool was beautiful and the breakfast was amazing! Everything was delicious, and there were so many options for everybody! Hubby, kids, and I, all walked away satisfied and happy! Even the picky preteen!

We couldn't have asked for a better weekend!

I ve stayed here for the last 3 years! This year they made a rule where you can t go through Any of the doors except the entrance, it s really inconvenient that my room is on the forth floor and instead of a 1 minute walk outside I have to go through the whole building which is about a 6 minute walk! I ve recommended this hotel to my friends but I regret that decision!
This will be my last year here!

Also the rooms are extremely outdated, TV s don t even have HDMI.. the bathtub doesn t have a plug! The 28inch Tv was a nice touch!
Although the staff are nice people!

Nice place. Very cool salt pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. Almost felt like a resort in a good way. The staff who checked me in didn't really give me any explanation of the hotel though but they were pretty friendly. I also wish the website indicated you can't even smoke cigarettes on the balcony. That's pretty lame and sneaky to not mention that.

Elevators are extremely slow, had to always use stairs, even with luggage. Very expensive for small rooms that weren't worth it. The pool was fine and so was the breakfast but for it's price, not the best.

The servers were excellent and the event was as well but the food seemed lack luster and under cooked as well. The deserts were the best part of the night. The drink prices were crazy expensive. $9.50 for one Rye and Coke is way to expensive.

Great! We had an issue with our room upon arrival and they quickly found us a MUCH better one! Stayed two nights. Comfy linens, clean bathroom and appliances... and for a good last minute deal. The breakfast provided was so-so, not sure how much it's worth during this pandemic. Thank you for the easy experience!

The inn at Waterloo has good rooms. It also has a great pool and spa area, and there are some cardio exercise machines. The morning breakfast has a good selection of hot foods. Our stay was quiet and enjoyable!

This was a last minute booking for us. The staff was very friendly. The room was nice and clean, but clearly showing its age. The building itself was quite large and oddly designed, confusing to navigate at first. I m assuming from decades of additions. This wasn t a major issue, just an observation. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would return.

Everything was great until a very unpleasant situation with the manager. The same manager who i had spotted smoking on the property. I felt that i was unfairly treated by this man and and sorry to say made my expirience at this hotel was a very disappointing one. Even considering the amount of money i was spending to stay here. Like i said...all good until my encounter with the male manager who i felt unfairly treated me .so bad so that i will never step foot in that place again.

Visited on the weekend for Ragnarok XP. The main room for the convention was nice, it seemed to have been renovated recently. The other room, on the second floor, needs some updating. My biggest disappointment with the venue itself was the OK quality and, what I felt, the expensive prices for the food that was available on site.

I have stayed here 4-5 times. The newly renovated rooms are very nice. The old ones are disgusting!! I was walking around in my room and found a cock roach. I wish I could post a pic to show you how gross it is. The room smells old and gross like old stale carpet. Dust all over the desk. There was 5 complaints while I was downstairs I over heard them talking about it about house keeping. Another was complaing about wifi!! Never planning to come back here!!

Facilites and rooms very dirty. The bathrom in the room disgusting. Seems that the manager doesn t care about the dirtiness of the facilities. The carpets in the hallways gross and sinks in the breakfast area discusting. I wouldn t stay here again. The only good thing here is the friendly staff.

Overall nice little hotel. Apparently it has through some room renovations recently which is great however our shower door kept sliding open when showering and it looks like someone dropped a hammer in our toilet, just odd looking. In addition one would think that if you have spent the money to do renos you want the place too look good...well the air vent in the bathroom has about an inch of dust glued to it...cleaning staff needs to pay attention. The old inn section is very drafty because of the sliding doors so be aware for winter stays. Overall good stay, decent rooms and very friendly staff.

Attended The Inn of Waterloo for a conference. The hotel in general is a bit of a mix of sections that are updated with others that are quite outdated. Food was excellent and staff provided adequate service. I live locally so I did not stay in a room and can't comment on the.

We did not stay at The Inn of Waterloo as a guest, but we did attend a banquet there.

The food... wow! It really was awesome and more than enough for everyone to fill up their plates! No one could have gone hungry, and the selection was excellent, from the very crispy salad, to the amazing roasted potatoes, ham and chicken.

The staff were attentive, and I'll tell you what - if I ever am involved in some banquet planning in Waterloo - this would be the first place I'd talk to! It was just - great! There was absolutely nothing to complain about.

Salt water pool and small fitness center. Free parking. Free breakfast. In room fridge. Amenities are basic. Guest rooms are average. Fine for a one night stay but probably not for longer or a family getaway.

Easily the worst hotel I have stayed in and the service to match. First, one of the beds is clearly broken (springs completely shot) which I have never experienced in a hotel before. The other bed is clearly in need of a new mattress.....zero support The phone didnt work and trying to get service to fix it took forever even though the hotel was virtually empty when we checked in - couldnt even call diwn to the front desk. The concierge, finally granted us permission to move rooms....which we planned to do after dinner, only to find out that the room they promised to give us with two queen beds magically disappeared??? We were supposed to be with our team only to be shipped off to another area of the hotel for whatever lame reason. The hallways were in clear need of a vacuum. It is awful but the worst part is the state of the beds I cannot believe they are charging people to sleep in these beds....crazy. Do not stay here!!!

A little out dated, but still elegant. Bathrooms could use an upgrade -but only for cosmetics. Nice rooms, decent breakfast but unfortunately the waffles were very tough and no juices.
Side note - thin walls. We got a noise complaint on new year's eve sadly due to this.

Very courteous staff, room was very comfortable, breakfast (included) was fantastic. Did not get a chance to use the pool and fitness room this time, but in passing by, they looked well-kept. Considering the price compared to surrounding hotels, will definitely stay again next time I am in the city

Room smaller than expected, Wifi didn t work (which is terrible because it s a conference centre!), toilet clogged twice, housekeeping never came, dirty dishes in hallway for our entire stay, shower and sink randomly leaked, air conditioner had a loud vibrating part inside that was very annoying. Definitely not a 3 or 3.5 star hotel. This is equal to a comfort in or something. Not terrible, but for the money I expected a lot better. The outside of the building looks very nice and new but the rooms are average or below average.
