What can I say? This place is wonderful for seafood. They have $1 oysters before 6pm that are divine. The views are amazing of the SF Bay and Bay Bridge. It is also one of the only places I have been for a group lunch where they actually had zero issues splitting the bill for us without even asking. Great place to take clients and friends.

What has tomato juice, alcohol, a cucumber slice, 2 prawns, and two strips of bacon? Waterbar;s Bloody Mary, that's what. Add fresh oysters to that equation and you get a San Francisco brunch experience you'll never forget at The Waterbar. Outdoor seating, indoor awesomeness, no matter where you sit at the Waterbar you'll definitely enjoy your stay. This is an upscale classy joint right next to the views of the pier and Bay Bridge. You'll see lots of business meetings and bridal showers. It is definitely a place to book if there's someone you need to impress.

Love the atmosphere. The waiter and host was very good. I had the rockfish tacos which were fine but would have liked to have some spicy sauce to go with it. Probably had it but I did not ask. Overall experience was very good.

Great view, great sour dough bread ,the server was ok other people brought the cold steak and cob corn to the table then auctioned it off.
Tempura cod was so greasy and the 6$ lemonade with basil was a joke.the unsalted butter with sea salt crystals was awesome..

Went here for a wedding reception. the views were stunning as the room over looked the Bay Bridge. the food was pretty good, nothing spectacular but all solid and well seasoned. The staff was attentive to the needs of the party. Great wine options.

Great place to grab a signature hot toddy and watch the weather roll in and back out. The wait staff/service team is exceptional! If you are looking for oysters on the 1/2, this is a must visit! Multiple types of oysters to choose from and other fresh seafood that will fill your need and your stomach.

A wonderful patio overlooking the bay. A great place to have a happy hour drink. Get there early because it fills up on nice days. They only seat your fully party, so keep that in mind if you're coordinating a group.

Made reservations for Sunday Brunch on the patio to celebrate my sister and brother in law s Anniversary. They are from out of town and the perfect weather and closeup Bay Bridge views added to the celebration, plus-the menu selections beyond their famous oysters was superb.

This place has ambiance that is modern and genuine with class. The wine list is everything you could love. One of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time. ...and their prices reflect that too, but worth it.

I came to Waterbar to try the $1 oyster happy hour deal. The selection for the day was a minute sized Washington varietal. A bit disappointed in that, however my server was the perfect blend of non-intrusive but attentive and the vodka martini was spot-on. Didn't try any other food

Definitely a pricier bar and restaurant, though the killer view is hard to beat. Clear view of the Bay Bridge from an elevated standpoint, which also makes a picturesque photo-op in the nighttime. Seating at tables are reserved for customers who also order food, and the bar was self-seating the last time I went. I had the salmon, which had no dairy, along pictured are the cream pastry dessert and sorbet.

Favorite happy hour in the city, dollar oysters are such a great deal and always very fresh! Awesome atmosphere with good views of the bay if you manage to snag an outdoor table as well. Highly recommend!

Let me just say first, the food blew my face off! I never thought corn would work with muscles, but they totally pulled it off! And the lamb ribs took me somewhere magical that I'm not sure I'll be able to go again. So then why not 5 stars? Others are right the staff is pretty snobish, although the patio hostess was a game changer, or I may not have stuck around. I did have good service. I did feel like I wasn't their ideal customer and that I was a slight inconvenience. I was alone, beer not wine, not much chance to upsell, not super well dressed. At the same time, they picked up on all my cues that I was in a hurry, and I had a very nice meal in an hour. Overall, I'm just not sure I'd take a date here.

Great location and view! Valet parking available. Reservations recommend for dinner. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Although a sea food place, they can create a Vegan plate upon request - mine last night included quinoa, grilled carrots, grilled brussel sprouts, cauliflower, roasted butternut squash.

We went to the Waterbar to celebrate my mom's 75th Birthday! Getting oysters at the oyster bar can be a bit of a wait (30 minutes) due to the crowd, but as the saying goes, good things are worth waiting for!

Dinner was excellent. The service was near perfect and the taste and presentation were perfect. (And my step-father was an Executive Chef, trained in France). Mix in the view of a glowing bridge and you have the maming of a perfect night.

Corkage is 25.00, but you can get it for free by buying a bottle in house. We bought champagne and brought our own wine.

I highly recommend this restaurant...

Great restaurant in a great location between the Ferry Building Marketplace and the Giants Stadium. Great views of the Bay and the Bay Bridge from their outdoor seating area, or from inside near the windows. This place is co-located with Epic Steak restaurant and you can't go wrong eating at either place. Limited street parking is available, otherwise you will need to hoof it in from one of the lots on the piers or use the valet option.

This place is very beautiful inside and the patio as well. You have a beautiful view of a Bridge. But their food is a ok. I had Seafood enchiladas, amazingly good. My husband had a biscuits and gravy he didn't care for it too much my kids had one chicken strips which were pretty dry and my daughter had a ravioli dish with only for raviolis in it. She didn't like it too much either. I think it's more of try it once and try the experience.

Great food and Bloody Mary's, however the service was not great. We were rushed out before I was finished with my drink. People kept coming by the table and put the reservations signs at our table but saying no rush. Turnover was clearly more important than quality of service/customer experience

Amazing food. I first thought I was underdressed but I was welcomed. I definitely had my tourist attire on with camera in tow. Quintin was cool AF. If I lived in SF this would be my place.

We had a dozen oysters and 2 lb red snapper. Food was really awesome. Tiramisu was not that good it seemed more like a chocolate cake. Lemon pie is pretty good. In drinks you can have basil disposition or wild flower cocktails. Both very relaxing and refreshing. Some items such as the drinks were slow to arrive but they were kind enough to remove them from the bill to make up for the service delay. Highly recommend taking a reservation to avoid long wait times.

Nice place to impress a date. Great views obviously! Took my wife here when we were still dating. Had some drinks and apps upstairs, cozy seat and not crowded that night. Pricey, but nice place when you wanna splurge a bit.

This restaurant sits just west of the Bay Bridge on the Embarcadero. The view is fantastic. I attended a private party in a room on the top floor corner of the restaurant closest to the brigde that has an outdoor balcony. The food was delicious, the servers were very attentive and a good time was had by all.
