A great place 2 visit. Everything you need 2 have a good time is right there on the grounds. Great food, shows, Had 1 hell of a time at the Elton John dinner show. Live entertainment every night there in the Bistro lounge. Appetizers & dinner if you choose. And an Sunday brunch like you've never had before Next door to the Bistro lounge. With an ocean front water view. Highly recommended.

My fiance and I have come here on the same day for the past few years and made it an annual tradition. The lobby and entry way are always well decorated and beautiful for the holiday season, the folks at the front desk are nice and helpful as well.
Our room viewed the ocean which was lovely and even had a nice jacuzzi in the bathroom. I'd say the rooms are slightly dated and perhaps a bit tired, but it's still a great location. The room and bathroom are very clean and the resort does a good job of keeping the common areas clean as well.
The prices are higher but you are right on the water with amazing access to the beach area. I'd recommend a stay, even during the winter months!

My wife and I went to their NYE party with the overnight package. It s more an older crowd we are 30 and went to celebrate our first NYE as a married couple. They staged the cocktail party really well spreading out bars over 3 rooms. If you want a more intimate dinner seating ask to sit at couple rather than in the ballroom as a group table. It was pricey for us but all inclusive and no driving, plus brunch the next day.

Fantastic views....then all down hill from there. Martini in plastic glass, Chicken sandwich and wedge salad both 1 out of 5, flies and bees everywhere, kids on the dance floor, no happy hour specials. Should I say more?

Had a wonderful stay at the Water's Edge. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful. The meal at the Italian restaurant was good. Portions were a bit small given the price. The breakfast buffet was well stocked. The coffee shop with Starbucks coffee was super convenient. Wish we had time to check out the spa.

Sub-par spa experience. The services were so-so. The amenities were average. Front desk service had much to be desired. I will add, though, that management was eager to find a solution...much appreciated.

Went to the Eagles tribute concert on July 5th. Nice setting. Great show despite some early technical issues. All you can eat buffet was, at 29.95 plus gratuity, a total ripoff. Food ranged from mediocre (chicken and ribs) to inedible (steam table hamburgers and hot dogs). Eight dollars for a draft beer in a plastic cup. You would be well advised to have a bite somewhere else before the concert.

Our company just held a small, regional meeting and lunch here. It was a lovely experience, they have rooms/space for exactly this need. Staff is attentive and friendly. The food is delicious and there are options for alternate menus. We will be back again if the need arises.

We are staying here for the week and looked forward to lobster night. We arrive an hour after it starts and they were sold out. I order the football special wings for $5, and get 5 wings! Are you kidding me?! The bar staff was more worried about cleaning up to get out early than serving the guests, I therefore left much earlier and drank much less than I would have otherwise. It's amazing how that one night can taint your entire week. Up until this the staff and place have been great.
The rest of the staff we met redeemed the place. Thanks Denise, Deb, and Derek!

What an absolutely wonderful place to go to get taken care of relaxed and de-stress from a long hard year. The food was wonderful the atmosphere was wonderful the place was just beautiful to be in its in a lovely little Community where there's all kinds of great little shops to explore. And it's so easy to get to I don't know why I haven't been there before. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a weekend getaway without having to go too far.

Nice spa and employees. Locker room layout is poor and crowded with just 3 or more people. Spa is located upstairs off the lobby and is not well-marked. Ask someone to help you. Treatment room was nice as was mani/pedi room. Felt both women giving services were knowledgeable. This is not a quickie spa with staff right out of training school.

Terrible receptionists and booking services by extremely rude staff members! Never will come back or recommend anyone booking a reservation here! However the hotel desk manager was a saviour and more than accommodating fixing his staff s errors, however not all of his rectifications went to plan and I was still over an hour late for my wedding and almost didn t get married.

Love the staff inside !! When they hire the kids for the outside areas food and bar that tends to get really slow for service waiting for a very long time . The outside view is nice, hotel rooms, and brunch is good! Inside bar staff is Great! The other real problem is the outdated inside locker rooms, pool, hot tub, and workout area. Needs a major overhaul. Just blah the concrete could use some power washing and just needs to be updated . Not what you think for that kind of establishment.

Very nice atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Definitely on the expensive side though. $60 per person with tip. I thought there could have been more options for vegans. No grilled vegetables? Also the dessert table could have had more options. Ice cream next year?

Mother's Day buffet. Amy was a terrific server
Very attentive to all her tables. Buffet seemed a little mass produced, guessing the high number of customers. Did have a wonderful fresh made omelet and terrific crepes.

First off, the hotel seemed to be taking decent COVID precautions, so that was good. However, I would not stay here again. The rooms were rather dated. The TV had no internet options like Netflix or Hulu. There were only two accessible outlets in the room and the current seemed weak (my phone lost charge while plugged in). And worst of all, the septic tank was getting pumped while we were there so when we tried to enjoy our balcony with an ocean view we immediately had to go back inside because of the awful sewage smell. The tank was there from 9 am to past 11 am on a Friday morning, so if the seaside ambience is something you're looking for, call ahead to find out when the septic tank is getting pumped and avoid those dates.

Everything on the grounds looked pretty good, exce...

Everything on the grounds looked pretty good, except the hotel rooms in the main building; they weren't in the best shape. My first night was ok, I checked in and went down a creaky hallway to my room and got settled in. The room and 2 areas with windows, one small window had a view of an AC unit and the roof of the vallet area and the other bigger window was so hazy that I couldn't see out of it. It wasn't weather haze or fog, turns out the window was so old and unmaintained that the seal broke and the gas between the 2 panes hazed up.
Next day, I went to use the shower and the handle was so broken that I was lucky to get the water to come on. The shower head was in definite need of replacement and the bathroom was really small and outdated. I returned that night from a cold Connecticut fall and the room temp was 70, so I kicked on the heat. About 20 minutes later I realized that the room was colder than it was when I came in, the room temp was now 67 and dropping. I double checked to make sure I set the thermostat to 74 with heat but the vents were blowing really cold air. At this point it was 12:30am so I asked the front desk to have someone come fix it or relocate me; they relocated me to another room.
After moving all of my stuff to a new room in the middle of the night, I finally got a room with working heat, a normal sized bathroom, and a clear view of the parking lot.
The next morning, I go to use the shower and this handle was so broken that it just kept turning with no indication of hot or cold and no stopping point. I was able to spin it to a point where I could get warm water from yet another old, low pressure shower head. I also didn't dare put my shampoo on the shelf in the shower because it was glued on to the wall and the glue was barely holding onto the shelf.
Also in this second room, the fridge was broken to where the door could only open a few inches before it would scrape the carpet and require force to fully open. There were scrape marks on the carpet, so this was happening for a while; something that should have been noticed by the staff and fixed.
Upon check out, a few days later, I mentioned all of this to the girl at the desk and she didn't seem to care that my stay was less than satisfying and offer some kind of discount or refund for an overpriced room, nor did she take note of the issues to have them fixed.
In speaking with another guest, they had similar issues and had to switch rooms because their room did not have hot water.
Needless to say, this hotel is unmaintained, outdated, and overpriced. I don't think I would ever want to stay there again and would urge others to do their research and find another nearby hotel.

This is a beautiful resort and hotel. I had such a wonderful weekend here with my family. We stayed in a very nice 6-person room which had 3 1/2 rooms (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, on 2 floors) with an ocean view balcony. My daughter loved both the indoor and outdoor pools. The staff were very kind and helpful as well. I did a couples massage at the spa which was lavish and fun. It is very picturesque and I highly recommend it to everyone.
