I love the food, neighborhood vibes and authenticity at La Pergoletta. They have a huge menu with endless combinations of fresh pasta and sauces, it is almost overwhelming if it is your first visit. The also have great weekday lunch specials which include pasta, salad and a drink for well under $20--I think this is the best time to go.

We chose this restaurant to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of our parents wedding, no small occasion! we were glad we did. Everything, especially service, exceeded expectations. Incredible food, atmosphere and service, and hence incredible restaurant!
I been to the one in Vegas and now the one in downtown LA. Both are consistently delicious and have high quality delicious seafood. The shrimp scampi was delicious and the king crab legs hit the spot. the Manila clam and chorizo appetizer was on point and the sauce it was cooked it was perfect for dipping their house made bread into. Crab cake was delicious but only came with one with slaw. overall very good delicious experience.
Great service. There service is fantastic... The food is also fantastic, great flavor in every dish we had. Delicious. Went for a private party. Will return. Awesome! Thanks guys!
A little slow to get the main courses out, as they were quite busy for lunch today, but overall it was excellent. Great for a business lunch, or potentially a nice evening out.
Service was great. It felt like everyone was serving us because their teamwork is just so great. We were always taken care of and we didn't have to look far if we did we'd something. We had multiple courses and each course was timed so well. All the food came out hot and cooked well.
Our experience was wonderful. We had very well cooked scallops and shrimp dish. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was welcoming and most enjoyable. Must return.
Overall became a very good enjoy. The food turned into notable, but the provider changed into a touch gradual. It wasn't too busy and it seemed like everything took a lot longer than it should have.
Excellent seafood in Downtown Los Angeles. A little bit pricey, but the quality of the food is excellent. Fresh oysters everyday, and when available, the California spiny lobster is a sure bet.
We waited a long time to get a reservation here! Heard the good reviews and wanted to try it for ourselves. Well, ladies and gentlemen, it did not disappoint! The service was spectacular (I seriously didn't even see the waiter fill my water glass, but it somehow was full the entire meal even though I was drinking it). Our waiter also recommend an amazing wine that paired so well with our meal! You can tell the dishes are prepared fresh and nothing was too rich or over-seasoned. It had an overall feeling of a tiny family restaurant in Italy. Adorable and well worth it! Highly recommend making reservations as there isn't much seating and this place is popular!
We went to the Water Grill with the whole family - a group of 12 - for our 50th Anniversary. The service was excellent, the seafood was fresh and very tasty. We could not have dreamed of a better impression. Everyone was amazed and enthusiastic about the service, food and atmosphere. Very comfortably
came to Water Grill after spending a long day walking around in L.A. and a long flight from LA just to walk in, be given the stink eye by the host. We say table for two. He took one look at us in our sleeveless shirts and shorts, then told us to look at the menu. Hands us the menu where we can see all the prices. Seriously? He then asks if it seems like something we'd want, insinuating like . We end up repeating "table for two." Are you kidding me? If im coming to a place its because i wanna eat there, not because I wanna be judged by some unprofessional host about our class/income. Will not be coming here again. Seafood tasted good but better look like you just came off a set from Hollywood or like plastic! Or else you'll be looked at as nothing more than garbage. Our waitress was fine, and helped us feel more welcome. But the experience with the host tonight has cemented a certain anger within me. Non seafood is mediocre for the price, and why the wait when you have so many servers and cooks running around? Definitely arent busy if you turn customers for "not dressing nice enough". I've had better at places that cost much less. Also: adding just lemon to a steak doesnt mean its seasoned.
I would say that dining here, absolutely, is one of my best seafood experience. I loved the clam chowder, crab cake, Mexican Sea Bass entree & the scallops. Excellent food! Top notch service!
I often take my friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I go their often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the food there is great and the crew is generous and cooperative. Every time we eat in this place we have a lovely evening. warmly recommended.
Our favorite restaurant in Atlanta. Unusual service by the chefs dim sum style, with a different menu every time we've gone. Better with 4 or more so you can taste as much as possible, great atmoshpere.
I was craving this so badly today, so we picked up and it has yet to disappoint me! Tip: their "lite mild" is really mild and their "mild" is actually quite hot. I love the half sandwich and half tender combo. And their fries are nice and thick, and definitely crispy. Thank you for staying open for business!
Not to be missed We travelled from Seattle to our favourite restaurant in Los Angeles... The sandwiches and sides are awesome.... Be sure to see the train room... And the 50 cent coffee is the best...
This is absolutely great place with so delicious food they serve. Lobster was so delicious, well done and seasoned. Side dishes was good as well. One of the better places I've been to for seafood in Los Angeles.
Our server, Tony was awesome! We got the calamari, clam chowder and the fish and chips. Even the mixed greens were impressive! So good and not that expensive!
Well this was a great experience! Beautiful interior, fried chicken that's actually crispy and really good and sauces that are unique and tasty! Finally something new and exciting in la crescenta! Will definitely be coming back again. Service was fantastic and very clean restaurant! Highly recommend!
The noodles are delicious, the flavors are well developed, and each dish has a clean, fresh (I know, I'm being repetitive) taste that will definitely bring me back for more~!!!
My favorite place for seafood. I often meet people here to talk. Prices are reasonable I would say. Reminds me of a place in New York I loved to visit.
We had a great meal. Our seating was delayed, but the staff kept us informed and even had food ready when sat down. The food was very good. All of the appetizers and main courses were well received. We had exceptional service throughout the night.
A very nice restaurant in the area! You will never be disappointed for sure. Their foods were very admirable and delicious. I couldn't ask for more! The place was also very cleaned and well-arranged. I really like coming back to your restaurant again and again. Thanks a lot for such a wonderful service. Strongly recommended!
Seafood and service at this spot is great. it was so delicious. this place has a great feel to it. feels like a cafe in phoenix that i enjoyed visiting.
The food, oh my god the clam chowder was superb. The best clam chowder ever! I would go back just for another bowl. We also had the crab legs, halibut and Mac and cheese and everything exceeded our expectations. They sat us next to the window so we were able to people watch and it was a lot of fun.
Some of the best simple pasta I have ever had. Chef-driven sauces and fresh made pastas are bulk of the menu. Lasagne is especially good with paper-thin pasta sheets. Risotto is excellent as well. Not in the mood for pasta? Try somewhere else.
Yummy fried chicken! This is my go to place when I'm craving Korean Fried Chicken (aka KFC). The chicken here is super moist with a crunch exterior. I always get the teriyaki version but I like it with a bit of sweet to it. They serve it with Kimchi and pickled radish which is the perfect complement to the fried chicken.
I don't eat seafood (though those I was with do!) so I had their filet mignon. It was a bit disappointing, as well as the slow service. Despite it being slow on a slow night, our server was really friendly, haha. Other than that, I did enjoy their key lime pie (pic attached), with the pretty green sorbet next to it!
Nice place, nice service, but the recommended dish by the waiter, which I did not like but was included in the bill and was not offered to change, led to such an assessment, the oysters are chic, but the second dish
The choice of oysters was outstanding. And taste was the best I have ever experienced. The sea bass was phenomenal and the giant crab claws were something of legendary proportion. The service was top notch and all in all, we had an amazing experience. Highly recommended A* My favorite restaurant of all time can't beat the food and drinks from this place atleast visit once when I go back home highly recommend if near the area
This is a well known seafood specialty restaurant in downtown Los Angeles. The Chilean grilled sea bass ($ 47) menu was very good for the delicate and unusual taste of people who are used to grilling Korean fish. The fresh fish was soft and the outside was well smoked. The oysters were made to be eaten in 3 different sauces, but they were fresh. The ice cream pie ordered to celebrate birthday was unique and delicious. The impressive thing is that the waiter introduces his name and he kindly takes the order and talks. It was a very memorable place.
Where is the mature hostess? She rocks! - My boyfriend and I have been to the Water Grill on several occasions. We order a seafood platter every time, but we also make sure to sample something new each time we visit. So, imagine my disappointment when we went last time to have our host give me the most distasteful looks. At first, I thought she was some bougie customer when she looked me up and down in the restroom. That wouldn't have bothered me. However, I was completely annoyed to discover this nasty woman worked for Water Grill. When we left, my boyfriend pointed out that she was frowning at me. Not saying it would deter me from returning, but I will definitely let it be know she can't seat us should we return. ***EVERYONE ELSE THERE ROCKS!!!!***
Food was good and nice atmosphere. We started with the seafood platter but doesnt hold a candle to mastro s seafood platter to be honest. The chilean sea bass was cooked very nicely though and the drinks were great. I ll be coming back.
Very good food and excellent service. They serve large portion of your order to share. Price is very reasonable. Try their seafood that are very fresh and their alcohol selection is excellent. We enjoyed so much the french onion soup and the seafood plate.
I went for lunch and I had an overall good experience however some little things kept it from being great. For starters our waitress would dissapear too fast before we could finish ordering or of we had questions. Second the lobster roll was great to me nice toated bun a good amount of lobster cooked well. However the fries were off they came out like warm instead of hot and they were less crispy than they looked. I assume that's from sitting around. Great place for a business lunch. If it's for leisure I would probably pass
This place is a gem, tucked away in the heart of downtown. You've got to come here at least once. The environment is very active and lively. Perfect whether alone to sit at the bar and order a meal or if you're with a larger party. It has a large open kitchen, just like the top celebrity chef shows. The food is deliciously delightful in taste. I had the crab cake and was introduced to oysters for the first time here. I hear that the oysters are brought in fresh every morning. You can taste the freshness. I highly recommend this establishment, as the staff members are highly attentive as well. You'll have a great experience here, I guarantee it!
Amazing food! Good quality fish! Have lunch special for $20 or $25...Good price for high end taste!
$25 Set includes 3 pieces of sushi (3kinds of fish), 1 blue crab roll, 1 bowl & miso soup. You can pick Tuna, Salmon or Albacore for the bowl that comes with the set. Good size of everything. The temperature of the fish is perfect for my mouth! Rice cooked perfect! Miso soup is not salty! Love it.
Excellent restaurant in the area! Last week, I thanked your staff for serving my order as fast as he could. I didn't regret my decision to have my dinner here for the first time. I also like the area because it was so wide. I must help you to be known by other people, so I decided to recommend your restaurant to all of my family and friends!
Great! Our waiter was super patient and kind. I enjoyed the food a lot. I ordered the classic lobster crab roll and my boyfriend ordered the buttered crab roll. Both delicious and worth it.
This place has a lot going for it. The food was excellent, first time having Spanish cuisine, the decor and patio are adorable and service was excellent. I really enjoyed the red wine sangria. My only negatives about this place is it's expensive and you have to pay for parking. If you haven't been to downtown Montrose, you definitely should.
Very fancy, was practically empty when we got there. Nice waitress who was very polite and attentive. Food was great and quickly served. I would go again, but would probably wear nicer clothes when I do.
We went to Water Grill as a couple for my birthday. Delicious seafood. The calamari and crab cake appetizers were great. The sea bass entree was pretty good, but a bit overpriced for what it was. The bread pudding dessert was fantastic. Really well done. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well, only thing to caution is that it's quite noisy inside. A bit hard to hear each other even sitting side by side.
