A true five star restaurant. Service relaxed but attentive. Food was outstanding. Servers and manager were open to interesting conversation. We shared our day with them. The oyster and cod were perfect and the desserts to die for. Very nice ambiance.

Went for LA Dine week menu for $59. Fried calamari was soggy, clam chowder was cold. They brought another appetizer and warmer soup, but I was very disappointed. Mahi mahi dinner was good.

Excellent seafood with excellent service. The Water Grill is nicely nestled on Grand just off of 6th Street. You really wouldn't notice it super well from the street, but if you stop in, you won't regret it. The seafood is fresh and the menu is simple enough, offering seafood only, with a small exception for meat (for those that have to have their surf and turf. I'd say the only downside is the steep prices, but that's what you pay for fresh fish!

Classy and amazing place. We have been to the Santa Monica branch but this location is better because it gave the Victorian look. Food was same on both location. Service is excellent. Food was excellent.

Went for a birthday with a party of about 20. Seating took forever even with a reservation. Food came out cold. Had hair in my butter and no apologies given except for "let me get you another one sir".

I didn't know about this place till a friend of mine invited me out to try their spicy roulette game! This game is played by multiple small sample of chicken are presented to you and everyone picks one and eats one! But out of the bunch there are different levels of spicy one can have! You may find one that mildly spicy or one that will knock you socks off and put you down! Its a fun game to try if you have friends who are down for a little spice! The potions here are huge and the prices are decent! The only thing that is tough here is the parking location of this place is a bit tight on parking so during the busy hours you might have to seek out street parking! I would love to come back to this place again if I had the time or if I was in the area!

First time, my son and me. Whole fried hog snapper was excellent, same for his fried lobster. On a whim, we had conch fritters as a botana, well prepared, just not our thing. I'd go back anytime. Great service, ambiente, and prices - everything just right.

I gave Water Grill 4 stars mostly because of the waitperson and how they've adjusted to Covid-19. As for the food, I would say it's more of a 3 star. I ate the shrimp and grits because I'm a southern girl. It definitely wasn't the same as what I get in Louisiana but it was tasty. So for anyone looking for a restaurant in our new normal, this is a good place.

Always a joy! Ordered and 1.5 lbs lobster and couldn't get that hot melted butter right but overall my experience was good! Wine was excellent! Customer Service was on point! My booth was perfect!

We went to Fratellino for dinner and their 5 stars reviews did not disappoint. The service was amazing from the minute we walked into the time we left. Me and my husband were greeted by owner Beto who was very engaging. We ordered their special ossobucco milanese and spaghetti bolognese. The spaghetti tasted like it was home made by an Italian grandma and very delicious. My ossobucco was very tender and melted in my mouth. Risotto tasted amazing also. They gave us a complimentary tiramisu dessert which was wonderful as well. I am not normally a big fan of tiramisu due to it strong coffee taste but this tiramisu was very light and delicious. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for great Italian food and amazing service. I normally don't eat a lot of Italian food, but I I'll be back to this place for sure.

Wow wow wow. I've been wanting to try this place for a couple of years now, and I finally got the chance to after visiting Cali in March. This place was everything I expected it to be. The XLB were small but don't underestimate the size! It was packed and bursting with flavor. My friend had the pork braised soup and she loved it. Our waiter was so nice and informative.

It was crazy to see how BUSY this place gets. My friends and I got here exactly when it opened, and by the time our food arrive at our table, there was already a line outside!

Only downside is the fact that there's no Din Tai Fung in Boston :( I'm dying to go again!

Great tasting fresh seafood at reasonable prices. Server Rowan is smart and attentive. Bestia and Officina Brera are fantastic but don't forget Water Grill is still wonderful after all these years!

Stopped for some oysters and clams. The place was packed but the friendly staff found us a place at the bar even though we did not have reservations. The clams were awesome even though they were farm raised not wild caught, but the oysters were small and not very satisfying.
I may go back next time I'm up in L.A. but I'll make reservations first. The decor and ambiance were very good, modern with an old style maritime look.

I actually appreciated this cafe, the food is outstanding, and the brooms were clean. It was a little cool inside, really was not totally cool. The atmosphere is great. I will certainly think about returning again if I ever land the opportunity. Me and also my good friend ordered the salad and also we were not dissatisfied. My one recommendation is to maintain the cool exterior. Come again!

Alright, so this place is nothing fancy. It doesn't have a nice view. It's in a shopping center right outside the heart of little Havana. And you gotta pay in cash.

So why should you come here? Well, the fish and seafood is fresh and the food is delicious. Honestly, what else can you really ask for. I personally love the Sweet Chili Seafood and Frituras de Bacalao, as a nice start to the meal. If your in the mood for a wonderful fried fish sandwich, be sure to order the Pan Con Minuta. It is a delicious fried snapper sandwich. My next favorite item is the Shrimp Tacos, which are very well prepared and stuffed with shrimp.

I normally get the fried shrimp & fish plate, which is delicous. This time I branched out & got the fried trio & it was meh... It wasn't deep fried, so I was disappointed. Fish & scallops were all fresh & I'll be back. Clam chowder on a prior visit was also tasty.

Ate here for the first time tonight and I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was great, we had a really nice waitress, and the food was excellent. I ordered the Chilean Seabass with the gnocchi and it was great! Would definitely eat here again.

A disappointment. The fritters were tastless, the menu was unimaginative, and the food was uninspired. They were accommodating and removed the seafood fritters from the bill. I ordered the swordfish which was over cooked. It sat on a bed if spaghetti squash and a garnish that needed help. I would not return.

Great views, great food and not touristy! My first worry was where it was located and it would be just another tourist trap. Nope, I was wrong. Absolutely spectacular view and the crab cakes were on point! I got the mixed seafood grill which was also amazing. The service was spectacular as well!

I was dying to try this place after seeing the many good reviews on yelp. I'm so sad to say I was a little underwhelmed. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cool and our server was the star of our lunch. He was so friendly! We ordered the fried whole fish and fried shrimp with French fries and tostones. The food was good but not AMAZING. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back...

Not the greatest place I've been to for seafood. Perhaps it was what I ordered, but I wasn't impressed based on other reviews. While the atmosphere felt alive and energetic, it was perhaps still too loud. It was really difficult to hear others at my table. Walked out from dinner with a sore throat and ringing ears.

This is a yummy PanAsian restaurant in the Century City mall. Instead of bread, you get rice crackers to dip in sauces :).

They have great food here that will please any palette. We like the shaking beef, spring rolls, fried rice, potstickers, the chicken satay, and the butter chicken.

There is something for everyone here so bring the family! Burn the calories with some shopping at the mall after :)!!

This is my go-to for quick great tasting Mediterranean food. Whenever I need a fast fix for dinner, I just call ahead for pick-up and at most I've waited 15 minutes. My personal favorite is the chicken shawarma plate. You can make your own wraps since they give you a side of pita. They give really generous portions for the price as well. P.S. don't forget to eat it with their garlic sauce!

Food was decent, service was good, 1000000 calorie garlic butter knots that are delicious and of endless supply. They were very flexible on changing out a sauce that went with the gnocchi for my sister. Portions size was decent. Over all a very good experience.

Great place after appointment at Keck-USC. Had the House speciality...one if them-Shrimp with Hot Garlic Sauce. Very good and veggies too. Unbelievable for $6.95--and 10 calorie Ice tea. Quite a place.

We ordered the beet salad which was excellent! Who knew water cress would go so well with beets and yogurt. The baked clams came in a huge portion - big enough for two and it was also delicious. I also ordered a miso soup but I sent it back because of the overly saltiness. Lastly, the dessert pick for the night was the most delicious and decadent bread pudding I've ever had in my life thus far. It was sweet but not too sweet, accompanied by an out-of-this-world scoop of caramel ice cream. If you are watching your caloric intake, ask them to leave out the caramel sauce. I didnt think the sauce was needed.

The servise was great, staff were very pleasant, professional and quick. The ambiance is beautiful. The sea bass was perfect and so was desert. I have only one complaint, it is just to noisy. I am not that young any more so this noise distracts me. But overall very good Seafood Restaurant.

I had the original fried chicken sandwich. It came out nice and hot. The chicken itself was dark meat rather than the white usually used in American style fried chicken. Parents with finicky children might want to bear that in mind. The quality of the chicken was excellent and the breading had a very satisfying crunch. The host was friendly if a bit high strung and the service was relatively quick considering the menu warns you that you need to wait for the food to be prepared from scratch. The price was very slightly eyebrow raising at first. But upon consideration, is on par with other restaurants like it and is mostly fair. I'll be happy to go again.

I was expecting something completely different when I entered this restaurant. This place is great for express food with a couple of items to choose from. All entrees and sandwiches contain seafood, there's no chicken, beef, or pork. The staff is very nice and because it's an express type of restaurant, the food is made very quickly and brought to your table.

Sure it's touristy, but on a nice day the views are pretty and the seafood is very fresh. My group was seated at a corner table by a huge window which offered us views of docked boats and the Golden Gate Bridge.

One of the better places I've been to for seafood in Los Angeles. Everything was flavorful and delicious. Even the free bread they came with had some sort of cheese inside. Make sure you don't stuff yourself too much with the bread. I recommend getting one of their Seafood platters so you can try a variety of different Foods. The seafood soup was good too.

We went to Water Grill after attending the opera at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion last Sunday. Water Grill is located just a couple blocks south of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion so getting there was a breeze. Parking was very easy in the valet parking garage located next to and just north of the restaurant. We were seated at a table but asked to move to a booth which they accommodated kindly. Service and food was excellent. The prices are a bit steep but, hey it's downtown LA and the selection of food makes up for it in comparison to some of the other local fancy restaurants. We were celebrating a birthday and it was quite a treat to get a complimentary bread pudding we had read so much about. The food was good but the bread pudding was truly amazing and the highlight of the meal. I would definitely recommend it!

High quality food, but similarly high price. You would need to order a few courses to get food enough. Very busy place, so order a table in advance or sit in the bar. Nice atmosphere. Wine selection is also fine.

OMG everything I ate from the bread and butter to the cheeseburger and kalimaree to the desert Carmel Bread Pudding was ridiculously good!!! I just couldn't stop eating! This is definately a place to go if you want tasty food. Prices are kinda high but it's worth it. Austin helped and he was the best!
