As a former New York City and Michigan Prosecutor, and an attorney who practices at this court on a regular basis, I can say that clients who are willing to be proactive from day one, can work toward a great result. The judges all have difference preferences, and the various prosecutors vary in terms of what they are looking for in a case, but over time, I have developed various approaches depending upon the judge, and prosecutor, and my clients have received great and fair outcomes. I've actually written an entire book on being charged with a crime in Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County, because of the positive experiences with the court.

as far as places where i have to go to court, it's alright i guess.

The court disconnected with people eg response to emails is horrid and phone hold time is huge..

Deliberately make the system complex and don't forward your emails to people who could help or eg it's their job.
