Camp Wasewagan
Camp Wasewagan holds a special place in my heart. The owner and his wife are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet. Camp Wasewagan is so diverse with their options including summer camp for kids, adult retreats, and even weddings so there really is an option for everyones needs. The staff is very knowledgable and overall a real pleasure to be around. Crazzy is also a very good cook so you can't beat that! Good food and good times, I can't wait to go back up to visit Camp Wasewagan.
The staff are amazing and wonderful. The atmosphere was so welcoming and warm that it felt like another home. The food is homemade, healthy and delicious. Cabins are clean, safe, and tidy/organized. There are several outdoor activities such as paintball shooting, archery, zip-lining, rock climbing, swimming and many more. There is a beautiful and tranquil (calm) river and the hospitality is great. I really enjoyed my first recent visit and hope to come back soon! I would love for everyone to choose Crazzy's Camp Wasewagan!
I have been going to this camp since I have been 6 and I am 13 now, I love it. Parents bring your kids there
Went to this camp for 3 years (twice one year), and then became a counselor! I have absolutely nothing but great memories, both as a camper and as a staff member. This is my home away from home
Have taken our Academic Decathlon team here for our annual retreat for the past 5 years. Although it's a bit more rustic than most of my suburban kids are used to, they have absolutely loved the experience. The staff is professional, yet friendly and helpful. The food is great. The setting is inspiring. We will keep coming back.
I had a pretty sad experience with this Camp. I was trying to plan my camp at this location and was told that if I give a heads up 30 to 60days in advance I would receive my deposit back.
I reached out about 45-50 days before my event and informed them we had to cancel and was not refunded my deposit nor was I able to apply it to a later date.
Extremely disappointed with Craig, thought he would help me out since we communicated alot
Camp Wasewagan is a wonderful place to fo camping. The owner and his wife are very caring and loving people. The staff is friendly caring and have just as much fun as the visitor's.
I've been attending this camp for 9 or 10 years. The staff is friendly, cabins are great, activities are fun and the camp is EXCELLENT! I'd recommend this camp to anyone!
We brought our Girl Scout troop here in May of 2017 and had a fantastic time. It was a huge plus for us tired leaders as all the activities and meals were led by the staff. We got to participate and enjoy all the programs with our scouts. All of the staff were so nice and it felt like we were part of a big family. The lodgings were comfortable and the surroundings beautiful. Our girls loved the archery, ropes course, craft time, fishing, fencing, hiking and more. I highly recommend this for troops wanting a weekend camping experience with all the tradition but none of the hassle. A great price for all that is included.
