Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse Review

At the time I went to this restaurant, it was really crowded and not a lot of food is left. But the staff manage the crowd really well, they can manage their food to make sure that everybody there gets to eat.

Wassabi has gone downhill. The portions are now smaller, the prices higher. Too bad, was my favourite place.

Such a great place! Staff is so friendly and food so tasty. I love that the soups are back I was waiting for that prawn Tom Yum. Sushi are always fresh, the place is clean and colourful I just love it.

Is another branch of the well known Japanese food chain.
It is a very popular destination for lunch time so.avoid it if you can.
I particularly love their sushi so I often make it my lunch time destination.
Unfortunately I feel that lately is not as good as it used to be. I find that the shelves are not always well stocked and the tables are not clean regularly.
The food is still tasty and well worth a visit.
The staff is friendly however I think they are overwhelmed sometimes with the number of people visiting.

It's hectic during the lunch hours but the restocking is pretty fast

One of the chains that I regret not having at home. Very correct sushi, original salads, warming soups. I haven't tasted the bento yet. My only regret that people do not respect the take away and take places for those who chose (and paid) on the spot ...

Ugh, probably the worst teriyaki chicken I've ever had. Place is clean though..

Cheap and tasty option, well the face of Brazil !!!!!

Went there on Friday the 13th October and asked for a hot food, after a few minutes of keeping me there, one of them came back and said we have run out of bowls to put the food in!! I asked so what shall I do, she was like nothing. I was shocked with this terrible customer service,!! They run out of boxes and they don't even have the decency to apologise or to provide an alternative option for people to take hot food. Really not acceptable.

The chicken was frozen, and very cold- sauce was hot but chicken was cold. Not nice. This was the sweet sour chicken with rice.

Usually visit Wasabi once a week as I really love this place! Portions are huge (I think you get a lot for the price), lunch specials are always interesting. Cheerful and friendly staff.

Very good sushi and bento boxes for a reasonable price

I loved it there. I was eating there with a friend and it was super nice.

Bad service, worst food, only for tourists. Gave them multiple tries but it was always very disappointing. You can use their rice to fill holes on the wall, but thats about it.

Sushi low cost but still enjoyable, eat your fill without spending much.

Never any bubble tea and they don't make anymore till the next day which is a bit pointless because it sells out quite fast

Bento Box were amazing, tasty and has a decent proportion. Price is reasonable because of the quality of the food. Lovely staff and quick service

Love wasabi !! Nice sushi and cheap prices along with great service.. there are places to sit and eat in store and also lots of choices to eat.. i love taking the small bites from them as it is usually so convienent for me when I am walking and feeling a little bit hubgry

Paid for a katsu then told me i didnt order one then the guy who made the katsu 2 seconds ago didnt remember me. Waste

We went here for a short lunch stop. The sushi tasted fresh and well made. The place was very clean and the staff worked efficiently.

Loved the place, we dined here about 3 times during our stay in London. Good pickup and go spot right on the busy main street opp Harrods. The prices are great for the food and portions, fresh and great variety of japanese food to choose from.

Opposite Harlow Department Store, the location is good, but the shelves are almost empty. It may be too popular and sold out. Today s bathroom has a sign, it s broken!

Exceptional food. The tea with balls is ok too. Everything fantastic!

I'm Japanese, so I chose 5 stars. I left the sushi. It was not delicious. I think it s okay to talk about the story.

manager was not nice. He service very poor Toufu noodle that was not have tufu. I never want to come back this shop

It's ok. Chicken curry was decent. Sushi was horrible. Eat the hot food.

Freshest sushi and Japanese / Chinese cuisine.
During my 5 day stay in London, I had lunch twice at Wasabi.
I must say that in Italy it would be very convenient.
I can't wait to go back.
Fair prices, very high quality.

Portions are very small nowadays, less salad in your salad, less sauce in your sauce and definitely less rice on your bowl. Manager must be on greed-reach-target mode and it's being noted by regular customers. Avoid for now!

Great food at good price. 4* because the tables on site aren't great

This used to be a favourite spot for lunch as I work in the area. When it closed for refurbishment, I had high hopes that it would be made better. Unfortunately it's not. They used to serve the hot food in front of you in the restuarant, this has now gone you just pick up a ready made box. You cant even order a larger portion. Or noodles on their own. Options are very limited.

We had a food poisoning after quick lunch on 4 December 2014 in this branch.

Bought this morning chicken teriyaki with noodles. Both dishes were leftovers from yesterday. Unacceptable. Very disappointed.

Food while filling not much to write home about. Great staff.

Went there around 6.30 and been told kitchen was closed.

Very good food. I like it and I will come back again.

Convenient sushi and curry quick meals. Prices moderately high. Easy seating on long tables. Modern and comfortable.

The large size for rice and something else , is the same like it was a regular 3 month ago.

I ate this for the third night in a row. The taste of curry is very reassuring and Taiwanese. If you don t know what to eat, you can try it.

So far from real sushi experience. Wasabi even does not look like a wasabi, semi-liquid something with a green color and disqasting taste. A worst sushi I've eat ever!

Chicken Yakisoba tasted good enough. Pricing is around 5 to 7 pounds. Plenty of takeaway options too.

Practical place for spontaneous lunch. However, unnecessarily much plastic packaging even if you eat locally.

A good place for a quick bite for tourists like we are. A bit difficult to find a seat, too crowded (we came late november). Sushi taste was a bit disappointing, not so fresh.

All hot dishes have been revisited. And they have become much worse.

Setting of tables and chairs have to be rearranged again for easy accessibility. I saw a lady was being stumbled by the backs of the customers when she made her way out.
Hot soup is good!

It seemed a clean and safe place to take trays of Japanese food to the hotel, for dinner, the food is average and with respect to the prices in London it was not bad.
But the surprise was that at midnight, I got horribly bad, with vomiting and diarrhea, so I spent 2 days in the hotel, so I DO NOT RECOMMEND at all that you eat or buy here!
I called them to tell them what happened to me and they absolutely passed me.
Better something a little more expensive and in good condition

Nice Wasabi, however it's not enough seats inside, specially in lunch time.

Good food at a decent price across from Harrods. Good place for people watching.

My favorite food here is sweet and chilli chicken with rice on the side. Prices are reasonable and food tastes very good. This is the place i usually eat my first food whenever i come to London. Strongly recommended.
