Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah Review

I stayed at the hotel with my son for 3 nights in February. The hotel has a nice large pool and also has a 2nd pool for adults only. It is close to the beach with plenty of chairs either around the pool or on the beach. Rooms are large with plenty of space.
Breakfast is good but it is usually very busy and quite crowded and the servers have a hard time keeping up (e.g. refilling coffee). Also we did not like the dinner at the buffet restaurant, it was a huge buffet but food quality was so so for a 5 star hotel.
Umi the Japanese restaurant though is excellent and has a very good Sushi chef.
It is a big vacation hotel with mainly German and Russian tourists.

Great place for a staycation if you re heading out of Dubai. Rak has always been an awesome place to visit. It s like going back in time. Absolutely love it. The guys at The Waldorf are great. Special mention to Meghna and the team managing the Buffet at the restaurant. They are an awesome team. This place has become an annual retreat for us from Dubai. Great job guys

If you really want to enjoy your mini staycation than it's the best place with the variety of facilities .
Rooms are spacious, services are perfect

Pool and beach are great to stay active n chill
Near to this place there is a huge mall called Al hamra mall, it has got all sort of shops and stores.

Very nice hotel. Clean, large rooms. Great service, there is always a place on the beach. Close to supermarket with wine department.

The service was very nice, the meals were wonderful, the people were friendly.

Good service, good facilities, kids club is not as accommodating as Astoria on the palm particularly for older kids, it's a bit babyish. Good selection of water sports. Family pool is large and in my opinion better than the palm. Less cosmopolitan here, more reserved and quiet. There is no lounge facility here.

The best and most luxurious hotel in Ras Al Khaimah

Very Spacious and opulent feel to property and quiet when I visited it. Good coffee out on terrace over looking beach and, the spicy chicken salad at the Azure restaurant is definitely recommended. My partner stayed there and mentioned that the rooms were very BIG.

Great ambience, great service, elegant rooms. Breakfast buffet excellent, something for every taste. Camel milk should be tried.

The hotel is excellent, the management and the cleanliness were excellent and God willing, we will return for a visit once again

A luxury hotel with a variety of services and facilities

It was a great experience in Middle Estern area. Compare to south eastern asia, it s same leve or higher than that.
I d like to recommand this for your convenience

Rooms are spacious very clean, great views but service response time is slow.

Top hotel. Friendly staff. Clean food all tip top. The lobby is amazing. Such a splendor. Can recommend the hotel without reservation.

The rooms could use a lot of refurbishment, no smart TV or room control system, the adult pool is a disaster, small, no music, no service, check in and out takes ages when the hotel is busy, your typical 5 stars large hotel with too many rooms with no WOW effect!

The most Beautiful hotel and very class hotel the lobby is very big and marvelous with class furniture and rooms very large with extra large bed and super deluxe bathroom

There is nothing in the area. There is an industrial area at the back.
Only suitable for bathing or lounging around.

Its best luxury hotel in Rak with Amazing Architecture looks like Royal Palace and have very luxury shops , Restaurants, Cofe Lounge .. Its recommended to visit in every Occasion like Eid and National holidays .

Absolutely fantastic. Probably the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff were incredible and went out of their way to ensure we were happy. We got a surprise cake one morning as it was our 2nd anniversary. We could have only wished to be able to stay longer!! We will be returning!

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was perfect. The double room with two queen beds worked out great for us and our two toddlers. Exceptional restaurant staff we were treated amazing especially at Azure. The pool staff were very attentive.

If you want to have a cabana for the day at the pool, be sure to reserve it with the pool staff early in the am before breakfast.

Top and luxurious. A hotel that is unparalleled, comfortable and perfectly decorated in style and design. The rooms or suites generously and functionally furnished. The food or buffet very rich and very tasty. The staff has a fine feel for the guests. We recommend.

Absolutely beautiful, majestic hotel.....set on a white sandy beach..good choice of water sports and pools, both for families and adults.
Only downside is the speed of housekeeping requests. This isn't a reflection on the staff as they cannot be more helpful and polite...but I think with the covid pandemic there's definitely a shortage of staff.

Service is amazing staff are very friendly and fast to help ... very fast check-in and check-out but I got that when I used thier application to book so try that ...

Swimming pool is big and provides good space for kids and adults with good number of safety guards...

Restaurants have a good offering ... bit expensive but worth it ... and the lobby cafe is very nice with unique tea and coffee offers ...

The rooms feels big and comfortable and they have nice lighting and the entertainment system is very good so you can connect anything to them phone, laptop, USB, chromecast ... and they work really well.

The best thing I saw in this hotel is that they are very generous with water they provide it every where swimming pool and lobby and rooms and I felt that I didn't need to ask for it or but any which is the first time I have ever seen something like that in hotels which try to twist my arm to buy expensive water ...

Upgrad of rooms is easy and also cheap and you must get the sea view with the balcony ... its worth it and the coffee cup there from the nespresso machine feels amazing in the morning ...

The hotel is also located near some malls so you can buy stuff if you forgot something ...

I totally recommend this hotel for families and couples and I will try to visit it again.

Very relaxing hotel. I enjoyed in this hotel. Great hospitality, and greetings. The room was fabulous and above expected. The view as well I liked it with the balcony. Thanks to Mr. Andrew from the reception for the best welcoming.
