Beautiful location ; lovely decor , well appointed rooms ... only issue is service.... tad slow and unacceptable for a 5 star resort..

Arguably the best hotel we have both ever stayed in. we received a friendly welcome with very attentive staff. the entire hotel had a high level of cleanliness and the room we stayed in was simply amazing and really well appointed. The grounds are expansive and were very well manicured and the restaurants were all of a very high quality without being over the top. I also had what i think is the best steak i have ever had at the Lexington grill! yes the BEST! and in the Italian restaurant the Creme Brulee.....WOW! the beach is really nice, white sand and clean water, they have a separated adults and childrens pool, both serving food and drinks and in between these areas, many private bungalows with beach access. There are plenty of shaded areas and if you want sun sun sun then that too. this really was such a nice break away from Dubai and we could easily have stayed a week with Oman and Jebal Jais not being to far away either if you want a change of scenery. This hotel looks big and expansive but when you are in it, it really does feel much more boutique like and you quickly know where everything is. I really just cannot fault this place.....i cant!

The staff really are very attentive and i would say love their job but its the fact that everything came together which made it an extra special stay. The arrival, the grounds, the rooms, the cleanliness, the attention to detail, the beach, the amazing food and most importantly the staff! thankyou Olga. you're an asset to the Waldorf Astoria!

Just a nice place by the sea, but otherwise nothing in the middle.

Poor service unhelpful staff around. The room service staff they jumped to our room while we in room without awaiting us to open the door.

We went as a group outing in the lobby of this magnificent hotel. We drank tea and ate cake. It was very delicious. The hotel is very impressive, it looks very noble. I can imagine the stay in this hotel very pleasant.

Stunning hotel. The rooms, in keeping with Waldorf standards, are huge and well appointed. Extremely comfortable bed with decent bedding and blankets. All conveniences including coffee machines and two huge TVs. The wardrobe area has a built-in dressing table which is very handy. Bathroom has both shower and bath tub and everything functions well. Toiletries are Ferragamo branded. Hotel feels airy and spacious thanks to clever use of light atriums. Walking to your room does not feel like walking in a corridor of doors. Staff are friendly and responsive. Outdoor amenities include a huge swimming pool (any swimming pool with its own bridge to cross from one side to another is impressive in my book) and tennis courts. Ras Al Khaimah is a bit of a trek from Dubai and there really is not much around the hotel but if you don't mind sticking to the confines of this impressive hotel, there's a lot to recommend and almost nothing to dislike.

I think its will not enough to tell you something about WALDORF ASTORIA but I can say that you will never find hotel like that in Ras al khaimah

I had made a reservation through Expedia and though I had cancelled it...however I realized a day after the check-in that the reservation was not cancelled.... I was charged close to 350$ on my credit card...I called Expedia, they were very helpful, offering to contact the Hotel to ask for an Exception, as some hotels were kind enough to offer to reimburse the client. Well guess what? They refused! I know thy it was originally my mistake that the reservation was not cancelled properly, however I feel that it is unfair that I paid 347$ for nothing...I was not even offered the chance to get another night for free due to the misunderstanding and since I had already paid for the room....

It was a dream vacation. Excellent food. Nice service. Absolutely great

Fantastic hotel. Luxurious in all way you can think off. The staff make this a superb experience. We spent 2 days here and loved it.

This hotel is Outstanding for this region and absolutely unique in its entirety. As a 6-member family with 3 generations we have made 4 holidays here. We especially liked the service from the different areas. We would like to praise Ketut (housekeeping), Akram (pool bar & service), Jesica (concierge) and Ajay (breakfast service), who made the hotel extra extra service. Too bad that there is no staff concierge, this was the icing on the road in recent years, Rezki had always taken great care of us and just knew everything we wanted before we arrived. All in all, I would recommend everyone here to spend a few days and be pampered. - HHONORS DIAMOND MEMBER -

Mr. Margan is a very rude person who does not let the kids (9 years old) into the show to look at them from the balcony. Pure disaster

The place is beautiful. Service is excellent. Although we had a hot water outage for a couple of hours, but the staff was quick to compensate us with a freebie! Will definitely come again.

When entering the hall, one involuntarily gasps for air. Marble, gold, crystal. Absolutely courteous and friendly staff. Huge suite overlooking the golf course, black marble with gold speckles in the bathroom.
Since we were one of the few guests who actually stayed for 2 weeks, we got into conversation with people from all over the world. It was incredibly exciting and instructive ...

I could go on and on for a long time, and our thanks go to everyone on the team.

One little thing got us thinking. The hotel is located in the middle of a stone desert and the sea water is warmer than body temperature. The pools are cooled and the 18-hole golf course is lush green. Can we still afford that? Not really...

The hotel is world class !!! Only for the recommended 10 point to 10.

Kinda the best place but the only problem is that they don t have women s pool but I like it good food good service and it sooo colder to a ocean soo you should probably go there and order pizza the pizza taste soo good I like it soo much.

The suite is great and the room service is really great.

Beach is great and very clean. At the pool there are some corners that are not so clean.

Food is ok. Choice and quality is mediocre and the service during the meal is very slow and weak.
In addition, no attention is paid to the cloakroom at dinner. So people in shorts and tank tops. Fits to such a hotel ...

The drink prices and the prices for lunch are really very exaggerated for what is on offer.

All in all ok, but you can and must expect more from a Waldorf Astoria.

Far better than the Waldorf on the Palm. Huge beach, large pool area and fantastic suites. All good.

Was not impressed you get a feeling the rooms are not very clean. Their food outlets and service is subpar for resort standards and especially for the brand.

Beautiful hotel resort. Rooms are amazingly spacious food is great but pricy. Very good service spent 2 nights there for a family reunion.

Really bad experience when it came to the so called cigar lounge, none had the basics on cigars. No proper equipment to light the cigars. No good selection of cigars very limited. Really bad and not recommended
