The internet presence of the Waldhotel and some press articles let expect an outstanding restaurant. This expectation was disappointed. The prices are salted, the food I would classify as well raised bourgeois. The map is very barren. No problem, if culinary art would be served. But it was pretty average. The service tried hard, but it still lacked a lot for a really good restaurant. Our conclusion: You do not have to go there.

A lovely place in Stuttgart. Very quiet, away from the city, ideal to face the excursions and visits in the area. We took advantage of it for the Porsche museum. Breakfast was not included, we paid it separately and it was really worth it

Lovely luxury quiet hotel on the edge of forest yet not too far from town (15mins metro). Great for morning forest walks. Room was quite newly refurbished with modern amenities and hotel had well maintained facilities. Had very friendly service throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!
Were at a family celebration on site from noon to evening. Food was excellent (except for the one sauce). Service has ensured that the planned schedule has been kept very well. Had, inter alia, a pianist on site and everything went smoothly.
Hotel was close enough to public transportation that a short 5 minute walk got us there. The hotel was very clean and upscale. Friendly staff helped us with reservations to a nearby restaurant and printed off information for a couple local attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel!

It was a New hotel but the room was small, Lots of bugs because of the area, Isolated so it is very quite but far and you need a car to go around the city. Free drinks as a wedding gift.

Very nice location in the green the subway station is 10 minutes walk away. The drive to the city center takes 15 minutes - so leave your car.

We were there as part of a wedding party and I have to say that we have never been so well looked after as there. CAREFUL, FRIENDLY, DETAILED ... PERFECT. A very successful day thanks to the staff. It is not better, and although it is upscale they are very child friendly. Many thanks. One can only recommend.

I am rating the hospitality during a company Christmas party in the Alsatian room.
I am absolutely not used to such high quality cuisine and hospitality, which is why I was all the more impressed.
The individual courses were very tasty, sometimes too fruity for me like cranberries in a salad or coconut in a pumpkin soup, but still good. The highlight - and this term doesn't even come close to this course - was the steak. I've never eaten such a good piece of meat. It was juicy and aromatic, successful to the point and beautifully pink and yet not a bit bloody. Really impressive.

Nice hotel on the outskirts of Stuttgart. Parking is plentiful, if you want, you can also stand in the underground car park. Our room was quite quiet, overlooking the forest edge. Overall, the hotel has relatively many rooms, so events are not uncommon. The staff at the front desk and in the service was extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. In the evening we sat in the restaurant nice and eaten. Of course, the offer has its price, both the food, the wine, as well as the rooms. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. We will be back, even though the air conditioning has made annoying noises all night! For this we got as compensation a small bottle of wine.
Nice hotel quiet, if internal family celebration also takes place outside. At 2 o'clock at night someone still has to talk loudly. Beautiful breakfast rooms with a lot of variety of treats. In the bar nice cocktail mixers and small food from the hotel kitchen.

Always happy here as a wedding photographer. A great hotel on the edge of the forest in Stuttgart-Degerloch - and a great team. Very suitable for various sizes of wedding parties. Professional service and the best cuisine - recommended. With a large green area and a beautiful terrace for champagne reception.
This is my favorite hotel in Stuttgart from now on. Very quiet, sufficient parking with the possibility to book an underground parking space. Very good connection to the light rail, 5 minutes on foot, 10 minutes drive to the city center. The hotel: very friendly and competent service. Very nice rooms, great shower. For our dog (when booking) a treat was ready, which pleased the otherwise often maligned dog owners especially. The sauna and fitness area is modern, clean and in top condition. Two saunas and a steam bath to choose from. Good breakfast buffet with a large selection. The affiliated restaurant is also excellent. Reservations in advance are very useful here, if you have to dodge the bar, this is not a broken leg- the card is small but excellent. The Swabian roast roast should not be missed. All in all, we have found a new favorite hotel in Stuttgart.

Well the tea water was not really hot, the cream for the black tea had gone out ..... What a pity, the quality you hoped for at the first moment, unfortunately, stays out!

Quiet TOP hotel in the forest. Secluded (for Stuttgart). Not suitable for conferences. If you want to relax, the right place. Excellent room, the restaurant 4/5 stars. I love this hotel because it is different.
