Wakepilot Review

An awesome couple of hours with WakePilot. Mike was our pilot...was excellent. Would hire these guys again in a heartbeat. Great boats, great service.

Barry our instructor was awesome rode with him two days and his tips and tricks were super helpful! He also kept me away from the lake weed during my pass which I really appreciated!

Never did a review before, but the staff and owner were awesome to deal with. Brand new jet ski's that were a thrill to use. Definitely will recommend this to everyone.

Very friendly and polite staff. We did the SUP yoga earlier this year and were already impress by the quality of equipment and the great experience we had. Our pontoon boat action was on top as well! So much fun, such a great view, a great sucess for a birthday party!

WakePilot was Fantastic with Coach's Matt and Mike and Great Equipment to use for hours of FUN on Lake Osoyoos.

Super friendly and helpful! Not to mention that 2 staff dove into the water to retrieve my ill-placed iPhone of their own free will! Regardless of phone retrieval benefit my wife and I recommend Wakepilot.

My family had an amazing experience learning to wakeboard and wakesurf all due to the great coaches - Barry & Taylor!!! They were so positive and encouraging and had a great rapport with the kids. Everyone learned so much, all the kids got up on their boards and loved it! We chartered their boat three times during our trip to Osoyoos and we'll definitely be back to do more next year. Great boat, great team, great experience!

Staff was amazing and super helpful. My daughter didn't feel good once we got out on the jet skis and had to bring her back to shore. They discounted the 30 mins which was very nice and reduced the stress.

You make some valid points. We did break some rules and that's all on me, so I apologize for that.
I just think the entire situation was escalated by your daughters reaction. Yes, I do use profanity when I speak but I never swore at or threatened anyone and without a doubt, I did not call them the "c" word. Also, "get the "f" outta here" was my poor attempt to quote Tony Sirprano.

1 boundaries) Yes, we were told about the US Border (which is obvious), but we were "suggested" not to go under the bridge because the last 2 renters that went under the bridge caused $5000 and $3500 worth of damage on sandbars. That was the only reason we were given, and there is nothing in your contract stating this. My kids and their friends have grown up on this lake, and I was confident that they would not damage the Seadoo (what is the $4000 damage deposit for?). If there is a territory agreement with other companies on the lake, then you should be upfront and honest and tell your customers that. But I get it now from this email, honesty is not your strong suit. And again, we were not told four times no matter how many times you keep saying it.

2 Stealing/Disregard/Search)
- Stealing: That makes sense, you have my ID, credit card, address, and boat license but hey, yeah let's steal a Seadoo. This is comical, bordering on so disrespectful and now I clearly see why your daughter behaves so entitled.
- Disregard?: The only thing we did was go under the bridge, they were not reckless.
- Search/Unprecedented step to look for us: You have GPS on your equipment, and you knew exactly where we were. We were anchored, and this is where you are off base. Your daughter wouldn't come to our boat at first and just kept on yelling. Maybe hire staff over 25 that can communicate and be respectful to paying customers. I can guarantee you that nobody including myself was verbally abusive. If speaking loudly was abusive then your daughters in the wrong profession. All I kept saying was we didn't break the rule because you (your daughter) suggested not to go under the bridge and if any of the Seadoos grounded out (which I knew wouldn't happen) that I would be responsible for it. Your daughter didn't like that and said she was calling the cops. Which made me laugh and I told her to because we were not doing anything illegal. She then said yes, you are not allowed on this side of the lake and that it's written in the contract. Well, then I pulled out my phone and started recording and asked your daughter to say that into my camera and surprisingly she would not. You can ask her this part, I bet she left it out. I have her on camera for that part, and I have the recording of everything when my phone was down.

3 Appalled?) The only person that should be appalled is you and what you would stoop to for your image. Did you know there were 3 adults on the boat, including my daughter? I would not and did not call your 2 staff that, 1000% I did not and would not say that. And by the way, if your daughter acted like your other female employee, I'm sure we wouldn't have had an issue as she was calm and respectful. It's starting to make sense now; the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Disgusting what you will do to save face on the internet.

4 Sober up) Another dig and another lie. Come to think of it, is this the owner of the company or is this the daughter writing on your behalf? The tone of your email is the same attitude we received on the lake. An entitlement, arrogant, spoiled brat that always gets their way and when she doesn't, she cries, and when she gets called out, she lies.

We had such a terrific experience with Wakepilot! We used their seedoo and speed boat and had an amazing time. When we come back to Osoyoos we will definitely be using them again, thank you so much!

Our group of nine rented a charter boat and absolutely loved the experience. Our driver was especially helpful in tailoring each run to the skill level of whoever was wake-boarding, water-skiing, or wake-surfing, which allowed both the beginners and the pros in our group to enjoy the experience.

Service and boat was great. However, they could do a better job on maintenance. During our rental a "low oil" warning alarm went off a few times. The staff did not have any of the required oil for the motor. In the end the boat still worked, just would have been perfect if they could have added some oil to stop the alarm. Overall I would still rent from them again.

We tried SUP for the very first time with Wakepilot and had a great time! My husband and I each rented a paddleboard. The staff there were kind and helpful, giving us a quick lesson with some demos, checking on us several times throughout the hour, giving me tips when I ran into certain challenges. They cheered for us when we succeeded in standing up on the board. Thank you Wakepilot!

The facility is at the back of the resort hotel, beautiful inside and out, friendly staff too.

We rented a Seadoo same day we inquired about it. We really enjoyed ourselves! The staff were helpful and knowledgeable.

Just be careful before renting jet ski.
They can kill you from damage deposit.
When we returned jet ski they didn t mentioned anything.end of the day they charged $720

From reserving the boat to the onboarding process. The staff was professional and very knowledgeable. The boats and accessories were great. We have rented with wake pilot for the last 3 years. Awesome experience!

Overall we had a good experience. My only complaint is that they didn't give us enough fuel for our full hour. We ran out of fuel at around 50 minutes and when we came in and told them they just ended our rental. I know it is only 10 minutes, but still.

Been here twice. Rented Jetskis and tandem kayaks. Top notch customer service. Equipment quality was better than most rental places.

Great company to rent from. The boats were will maintained and their rates were in line with other competitors. The team worked quickly to get our group out on the water. We worked with Barry and he had a great personality and does a nice ob making the day enjoyable.

Awesome staff very friendly. Knowledgeable I had a great time on the paddle board. Would use them again. :)

Third time doing Seadoo rental at Wakepilot yesterday - Just as fun as the other times, wonderful having the lake almost to ourselves. Derek was really friendly and helpful. Only place we rent from in Osoyoos!

We chartered a boat from Wakepilot because we were unfamiliar with the lake and wanted to focus on the fun of skiing. We walked away so happy with our decision because our experience could not have been better. Our driver was friendly, encouraging, and seemed entirely focused on making sure we had a good time. He very obviously was an expert at tow sports, and he was able to coach us in a way that was both patient and easy to understand. I can not emphasize enough how much we enjoyed doing this. It definitely made our trip to Lake Osoyoos more memorable.

Had so much fun Great customer service. A bit hard to get hold of them over the phone for reservations though.

My wife morgan and my daughter brooklyn and myself went and saw kaylie at wake pilot to rent a boat for the day. Was by far the best choice. She was so freindly and informative with everything. We ended up renting a wake board and waterskis but I got fat and my wife hadn't skied in 15 years so needless to say we were terrible. We brought them back and was charged nothing. Such a great experiance for our first time in osoyoos. We cant get over how nice the staff was the entire time we were there. Tha ks again guys!

This is our second time in 2 years that we have used Wakepilot. Our family of 5 took the G23 boat out from Spirit Ridge at 12:30 -2PM Our coach was Jesse. Our 3 teens, with music playing, went wake surfing and tubing for 90 mins. Jesse is an awesome coach. Upbeat, patient, skilled, encouraging and lots of fun! The weather was hot and sunny. We had a fantastic time. Jesse worked hard to tip the boys out of the tube in the water at the end (which was not easy to do!) Originally we were supposed to go out on a windy, cooler Sunday, but the coach was sick, so we rescheduled for the Tuesday. Thank goodness we did. The staff are all friendly and helpful, especially Janessa who had to make the changes. I would definitely recommend Wakepilot!

So glad to have wakepilot @walnut beach on the beautiful Osoyoos Lake - professional instruction by awesome people both my boys learned how to wakeboard and surf a few years back! They always have the latest and greatest boats on the lake and they are maticulously kept! It s a family run business by the daynamic duo! Scott and Christen You and your staff never disappoint!

We've used Wakepilot for several years now for wake boarding, tubing, and wake surfing when we are in Osoyoos. Every experience has been fantastic - especially tubing with the kids (ours are a bit young for the other activities).
The equipment is top-of-the-line and seems all new each year. I don't know much about boats, but theirs seem to be the biggest, baddest, coolest-looking ones on the lake. The coaching staff have all been very patient and attentive to each person's needs and make it a stress-free experience when you (I) don't know what you're doing! When I heard about the background of the coaching staff, you realize how ridiculously over-qualified they are to teach wake-boarding in particular.
The various crew members we have met all seem to be focussed on providing a safe and fun experience. If you are looking for a professional operation to get you on the lake, you're not going to beat Wakepilot.

We rented 2 paddle boards this week! Good quality gear, and the staff had all the information necessary for a great paddle! Beautiful spot!!! We'd definitely rent from them again:)
