They never pick up the phone. I am extremely frustrated with how difficult it has been to get into contact with them as a college student who doesn't have time to deal with the utter unprofessionalism of this pharmacy. Save your time and just drive somewhere if you're a college student instead of relying on these people for everything.

This place is so unprofessional! You can't call and make an appointment in under 30 minutes and wait times are usually at least an hour. I had an appointment where blood tests were done and was supposed to be referred to a specialist, however a month went by and not one person contacted me about anything. So after coming in to formally make a complaint with the Administration Dept, that lit enough of a fire under their a$$ to actually do something! Would definitely recommend going elsewhere! Phone and appointment wait times are bad enough, but to be forgotten is completely unacceptable!

The nurse practitioner I see is very nice. I have a major gripe with the pharmacy. The wait is way too long if you're actually there waiting to get a medication filled. Seems like every time I go there its always a med that's out of stock.

The pharmacy here has the MOST EXTREMELY RUDE and GHETTO STAFF I have ever encountered. I am trying to get my medications transfered to another pharmacy due to the LACK OF PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT by them I don't want ANYONE with a NASTY ATTITUDE handling my meds. This place is AWFUL NO ONE picks up the phone you have to keep calling numerous times and when they finally do answer they treat you like you like you are ANNOYING them by calling to ask for YOUR own meds. This place is a HORRENDOUS PLACE to represent WAKE FOREST BAPTIST MEDICAL CENTER. They ALL need a course in CUSTOMER SERVICE RELATIONS IMMEDIATELY. I HOPE SOMETHING IS DONE ABOUT THIS PHARMACY BECAUSE THEY ARE HANDLING NUMEROUS PEOPLE'S MEDS INCLUDING MINES I AM AFRAID TO TAKE MY MEDS FROM THIS PLACE DUE TO THE HORRIBLE AND HORRENDOUSLY UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF. My experience with this place is completely frustr...

My experience with this place is completely frustrating, in the beginning they seemed to care but when i needed them during a crisis, they weren't there. Drs. don't seem to care to even call their patients when given messages, to me i can't deal with that. Its hard for me to trust drs but when you cant return a simple call, they aren't worth your time. I have switched drs due to this!

My grandson was seen in the ER last night for possible seizures and was told to follow up the next day(today)..we called to get and appointment and explain what happened. His Dr was out of the office so we asked to see another Dr. Was told there were no openings!...so now he has to wait until next week to be seen for something serious!.. What kind of Dr office has no openings for their patients?...what do they do with emergency calls?...i am not happy with this place at all!... Shame on you!

I was scheduled to see Dr. Campo today but during my appointment she refused to treatment me because I asked her if she knew anything about my health history she was suppose to explain my X-ray's from previous appointment and a treatment plan but didn't even know why I had an appointment with her I would not recommend anyone to downtown health plaza they don't take their patients seriously it's a waste of time

AWFUL! I've had nothing but awful experiences here...

AWFUL! I've had nothing but awful experiences here but it's the only place I can go with no insurance, now I will never go back again! I go in not feeling well and haven't in a month thinking things would pass. Today I hear well you don't look sick but if you want an antibiotic I'll give you one but it's up to you. If you don't feel better in a week come back.. Come back for what?! What the h*ll are you going to do in a week that you can't today?! This place is bs a 23 year old talking down to me bc she doesn't think I look sick!!!

DO NOT LET THE DOCTORS "REFER" YOU SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR WHAT THEY CAN DO THERE. Horrible. Unless they can bilk the taxpayers for those on welfare or unless you are loaded with bottomless insurance you won't get treated here. Many doctors these days will use the "referral somewhere else" excuse as well as make up a reason for their '"referral somewhere else" trick. This is how doctors get out of treating those without insurance. Two doctors there have done it to me. One lied and said he was no longer taking patients! It's a greedy rotten thing to do to those seeking help. If you do go to get treated there demand to get treated THERE not refereed somewhere else before you even bother telling the doctor your symptoms. Also it seems the hide their administration email addresses and contact info so everyone has to complain to 'customer service.

They get one star because zero isn't an option. I had an extremely frustrating experience with this office. Multiple occasions I was dismissed or talked down to as if I were uneducated about my own health. My concerns were ignored and things that should've been handled in a timely manner were put off for extensive periods of time. When I left for another facility, one that took the time to listen to me, they quickly found what was wrong and corrected the issue surgically. When this office called to confirm an appointment I had already canceled once, I explained I had already sought care elsewhere and nobody even asked why. It must be a fairly common occurrence for them.

Awful service. It's been over a week since asking for a med refill. My drug store Walgreen's has requested a refill SEVEN TIMES and still no response. I requested a refill FIVE times and nothing. NO calls. No emails. NOTHING. A diabetic with heart issues should not have to go through this to get their own meds refilled. This is not a new med! This happens all the time. There is no accountability. The patient website, MyWake, indicates there will be a response in 1-3 business days. Right. It's been over seven days. I called today and the nurse said today they just got a request. I told her it was not true. There has been over 12 requests total. She didn't say anything, nor apologized for the delay. I have no other choice than to go to DHP. It is my Medicaid Medical Home. A few months ago I asked for a referral for an orthopedist for shoulder pain. MONTHS went by and NO RESPONSE from my PCP. Still I was suffering with pain and could not use my arm or sleep. I asked a nurse from another office and she gave me a referral in ONE DAY. Found out the shoulder pain came from a severely torn rotator cuff, a tumor, and severe degenerative bone disease!

This place is by far the worst doctors here in winston salem this place needs to be shut down unprofessional, unorganized, and if you have an appointment at 9 don't look to be seen nor out of there til 12 or 1

I wouldn't even give this place a "poor to fair" rating, but since this is the lowest I can go, so be it.

I am thoroughly unimpressed with this clinic. It is the default place Medicaid will send you to if you do not already have an OB/GYN in mind and are eligible for pregnant Medicaid.

I did not receive pregnancy Medicaid until I was already ~4 months along. It took me 2 weeks to be able to set up an appointment, which should have been the first red flag for me.

The second was the primary appointment. They do NOT state you will be giving them a full medical history and that you will be spending 2+ hours there, getting bloodwork, giving out personal history, and finally, being seen by a nurse-midwife that you do not get to choose or meet beforehand.

Third was setting up appointments. When you call, you will be on hold anywhere from 30 seconds to FIFTEEN minutes. I'm sure the wait would have been longer, had I held longer than 15 minutes at a time, but I was fed up after multiple times of being placed on hold for that long and did not want to explore further how long I would have to wait.

Not to mention, the last fiasco with setting up a prenatal appointment with myself occurred very recently: I was trying to get an appointment on either a Tuesday or Thursday morning or early afternoon. I am due the 20th of January. They could NOT fit me in, any time, to be seen within the next week after my 38 week prenatal appointment, and so I received an appointment time -AFTER- my due date.

This place is overburdened and the staff really do nothing to help you prepare for childbirth. Thankfully, I have already had a child, so I know what to expect, but couple their crappy service with the fact that the practitioner you see is not even ALLOWED to deliver your child in the hospital ... well.

The service is impersonal, unprofessional, and it explains why so many women have frightening ordeals in hospitals and have no idea what they're doing.

Very disappointing, the nurse and check out person assured me that I shouldn t receive any bill for 1st visit but I received a bill when I declined service and was assured for zero balance. They like to rip off ppl by lying and try continuing the appt in a slow day for large bill. Extremely rude billing department. I will not be seen by Baptist health again and definitely changing my doctor. ZERO STAR FOR TRAPPING PPL

I do not like the ultrasound tech lady she so unfriendly and doesnt make me feel comfortable.also she didn't want to give me ultrasound pictures of my baby I had to keep asking her and she caught an attitude. Most likely I'ma be going back to my doctor's in Concord NC

This place is horrible, the wait is ridiculous, customers have constant problems, place seems understaffed. Often many people go to get a prescription filled they are told to wait a certain amount of time and when they come back they are told they havent even started to fill it or had no idea that they came to refill it in the first place. They are so unprofessional, and theres much miscommunication, one problem after another. Everytime i go in and wait i hear of another customer having one issue or another with them. Also theres usually always only one line open and a ton of people who usually end up growing impatient waiting.

The incompetence and lack of care exhibited by the folks at WFU Downtown Health Plaza is disgusting. It is hard to reach pertinent staff. Their professionals fail to complete prior authorizations and prescriptions in a timely manner. I suspect they think their behavior is acceptable for poor and homeless people. It is not! Please don t waste your time going there.

The pharmacy is like total chaos, I'm not sure if their intern workers meaning in schooling/training?
At first things seem to be smooth sailing just like any other pharmacy .....then came "FLU SEASON" 2018 and the discriminating began and "I" or "YOU" the normal "Paying Customer" who uses the automated refill system and gives you a day and time to pick up "Your" called in refill, well as of today 2-6-2018, because I called my refill in on 2-5-2018 @ 7:55am and was not in line with a "Sick RX" the next day at 11am, they just kept pushing my refill back "Because I was no longer a human being or sick, My refill had no PRIORITY and they did not and would not meet their automated system telling me I could pick up my refill 2-6-2018 after 10:30am, instead I drive to downtown health plaza the next day at 11 only to be told it was not ready and it would be an hour, I asked why I came the day and after the time I was told it would be ready, ONLY TO FIND OUT DURING SICK SEASON MY REFILL DOESN'T MATTER AND WILL BE PUSHED BACK AS LONG AS SICK PEOPLE ARE COMING IN?? Really??? Wow??

I was feeling very, very badly the day of my appointment, both physically and mentally. I met Dr. Marshall who was so kind, patient and understanding. I had not experienced that in many years. Most doctors are in such a hurry to get to the next patient, but she was not in a hurry. She listened to me, let me cry, offered further assistance and I really and truly appreciated her kindness.

I had an appointment with them and I made sure that I saved up enough money just to be able to pay up front. I know I don't have any health insurance so that's why I saved. I paid my money and waited for the doctor. At first I got a medical student who had done an excellent job getting all my information for someone in an higher up position. He comes back with this doctor who didn't care about what I was explaining to him. The first thing he said to me was..... You don't have any health insurance. So let me say he was quick to just try and get rid of me by telling me to take Advil and Tylenol. He didn't care about me as a person or a patient. When it was over I was in no way satisfied with their services. I don't recommend anyone to go there that has real issues. Find a clinic that will at least take into consideration that you came there to get help and answers. Everyone can't afford health insurance but can't get medicade cause they you make to much money. I'm very dissatisfied.
