Wahooo! Waterpark, Bahrain Reviews

Located in the heart of the Bahrain City Centre, Wahoo is a decent in-door waterpark with climate controlled environment and water - as the marketing material says, it's always 30 Deg C so it's a place that be visited in summer or winter. The place is well organized with "family" or indoor lockers, plenty of life guards covering the entire water park and lots of attractions for swimmers of all abilities from toddlers to adults. Life-jackets of various sizes are available on large racks free of charge inside the main waterpark area (near the wave pool). Locker/shower rooms are clean and well-maintained and there are prayer rooms on site. Some attractions have height restrictions so the smaller visitors may not be able to use them. The faster (and most fun) rides include the Master Blaster, the Black Hole, U-Ride. There is an outdoor area featuring a surfing machine, the helter-skelter and a pool with smaller slides, safe for small children. Wednesday afternoons is reserved for ladies only and during the week, you can sometimes get a special offer like "1-person free" - the front desk staff are very good about letting you know the deals and giving you the best deal available that day. There is a small shop located at the entrance to the water park in case you need to pick up goggles, swimwear or swim diaper etc. But be sure to get them before you enter as you won't be allowed to go back in once you leave.

Wahooo is located inside the City Center mall, making it close to the Capital, airport and variety of hotels and other shopping malls. Its location makes it easily accessible with options of taking the kids in while the wife shopping. It is also an indoor water theme park thus it is open all year round thanks to it water heaters. However being inside means that you will not have direct contact with the sun, something that I value for myself and the kids as a major source of Vitamin D.

Moreover, being inside also means a limited number of rides available, especially in winter where the small portion of outside activities are inaccessible. The food also lacks variety and the stores available are mediocre.

Nevertheless, if you happen to be around I advise you to make the trip and try it out, check for offers ahead or order online for a discount. Also the Entertainer app has a coupon for buy one and get one free.

Most of my visits to Bahrain with the family I visit this place with children is a beautiful and enjoyable place for adults and young people

Unfortunately, it is closed from the end of June, as they announced on Facebook.

We visit unfortunately its closed for maintenance it will be open in September..

Great indoor water park with full of activity. It's great experience to be tried.

Beautiful and fun, especially for young children .. There is a variety of games, although they are few .. There are games that children less than 120 cm are not allowed to ride.
The water is a little cold and I wished it to be warmer, especially as children are affected quickly by the weather
Price 130 riyals for adults and children under 120 cm, 80 riyals
The safes are one type with 20 riyals and a larger one with 30 riyals
The water contains chlorine, make sure that children do not swallow water in large quantities

Amazing, worth the line to wait. Temperature controlled pools, indoor and outdoor section. Even if you can't swim, they supply you with free lifejackets. Even little pools and slides for little ones. Inside, there are restaurants , a small store for swimming suits and goggles, and a place for making tatoos. It's inside the most popular mall in Bahrain. I really recommend you to visit.

Indoors ,not to hectic ..good for children and adults , good batgrooms , changing rooms and they also have hair dryer , they also have life jackets in all sizes , good music nice relaxing enviornment , had a lot of fun ...... recommended ...

Last time I visited two months ago, they say some games are only working and they have been entered according to the staff.

The park is located inside the market and it contains various games. I wished there would be a small fee for the companions who did not want to play.

Worst water park experience ever. Very small park filled with kids. Some of the staff there are very rude and not helpful or friendly. The floating rings are hard to find. Food I side isnt healthy nor tasty and very overpriced. Entry ticket is 1.4 Bahraini dinars for adults and its very expensive for what you get inside. Small Lockers for 2 bd located in the changing rooms of either ladies or mens section (not convenient if sharing. Only the biger family lockers are in common area, and there wasn't any available) there are only 3 medium to OK slides and 5 small to tiny slides on top of the kids splash toys and very small lazy river.

I would never go back again and definetly do not recommend this park to people other than for families with toddlers who are super cautious about their kids and want to always be with their kids or to pedophiles

We came from Saudi Arabia and finally surprised us that it is locked for 8 days supposed to write in Google and because people do not care

Website does not say it is closed for maintenance. A big disappointment especially for children who were looking forward to enjoying in the summer. How are they closed in the summer???!!!

Disgusting there is kid poo in the lazy river and too much chlorine. Most rides closed and they told us to leave early for women s night which is meant to be Wednesday but they kicked us out. Worst experience will not go back again
