W Doha Hotel & Residences Review

Very nice hotel, the W restaurant is a very intimate place, for the breaking of the fast, in this period of Ramadan, there was a very large buffet very varied, many salads, a large assortment of pasta, sushi and ' an incredible number of desserts.
An absolutely professional staff, very attentive and very kind. I recommend this place.

The W Hotel is not your typical business hotel, and I don't think it aims to be that. it's a fusion of a hip, young, stylish image with all the features of a 5* hotel.
I for one have been longing to stay at a W, funny enough that this should happen on a business trip, either way, it was a most pleasant experience. The rooms are decorated nicely, and are well maintained. I spent a full day working from within the room, in the afternoon the room service called in to check on me, then they must have snug in when I was out for dinner, invisible, quiet, they way it has to be.
The staff was very kind and friendly and made you feel welcome from the first moment, from restaurant managers to the MD to the door men; from the second day I felt like I've been a regular for years.
Food in both the Market and Spice Market was excellent.
Why didn't I give a full top rating: because the circumstance that the hotel is a hip nightlife location wasn't really fully considered in the logistical concept. To access the lounge and club on the second floor, visitors as well as hotel guests have to use the same elevators; this may be annoying at night when trying to squeeze by the lines forming in the lobby when you only want to get up to your room. So my recommendation: separate one elevator for party people and the other ones for guests, problem solved.

One of the best hotel in Doha. They maintain a international standard and first class service in all levels. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Have huge party and meeting halls. The interior of the building is simply awesome. Everything is well set and maintained. The hotel itself and the surroundings are kept neat and tidy. Parking space is also big.

This is a poorly maintained hotel. Pick up joint. Hipe for no rhimo reasons. Entirely A bad choice

I got an excellent impression That's why I decided to try other branches ( Maldives , Turkey , Los Angeles ) my favourite is the one in Doha .

Spice market is changing to low quality and very high prices

If there was ever a hotel that can get you to mix between business and pleasure so seamlessly it would be this one.

The only downside is that the standard rooms are quite small, considering local competition (to be fair, the rooms are "quite spacious" if you compare it to your typical London/NYC shoe-box 5 star room hotels).

Now, if you up your bets and try ANY of their suites, well, words fail to describe the attention to detail that the hotel designers put into the place to make it truly delivers a WOW experience.

I have to mention the fact that the restaurants on site, are as good as they come anywhere. In other words, you need good reasons to leave the place. Last but not least, I would not recommend this hotel for a family trip, unless the kids are 15+. Having said this, it is great for couples.

If you are an expat or a traveler this is the place you have to eat and hangout. Nice music and food. I am talking about the bar and the restaurant. Prices are little bit expensive. I dont know the hotel side I was staying in Shangri La. But probably it is one of the best hotel in Doha as well.

Me n my family went out for a christmas bunch and though the music was a good deal too loud the food was absolutely divine and well worth the cost (the sushi in particular was brilliant) service was excellent as well.

Friday brunch at Market, ground floor of the W, is excellent. Such a range of savoury and sweet!

Comfort. Quality service. But often water leaks (condensation on the water pipes in the ducts under ceilings). And no restaurant for 2 months.

Why you d build a hotel in a hot climate with such a tiny pool and small pool area where you are crowded into a small space is beyond me. In these sort of countries people like to relax by the pool after a long hot day - good luck here in this uninspiring spot. Whoever signed off on this plan needs to be sacked.

went to market restaurant, firstly the music was good and the food is amazing quite crowded but it was good place to hangout with food lovers

In the middle of a 1 night stay during a layover in Doha but can already say this this an amazing property. Excellent staff, amenities and rooms.

Its a nightclub not a hotel. Not meeting W standards. If you stay anyhow close to the bar you will not sleep.

One of the most beautiful hotels in Doha. A hotel that deserves to be 5 stars with rooms, common areas, restaurants, bars. Location in city center, walking distance to City Center shopping center. The staff is friendly, eager to find the most appropriate solution to your every problem. The meals were very tasty. I would definitely recommend to those going to Dohaya.

Really really cool hotel. Front desk, Olga, was super helpful and cheerful upon check in. She sorted out my colleague whose flight was delayed. Definitely coming back again!

The staff is rude, unreasonable, and has no integrity. I will never go to this hotel again.
The staff I met are rude and not reasonable. They showed no respect to customers time. I have no interest to visit again.

Five stars!! As very extensive in serviceability, equipment quality and customer orientation. A very special praise deserves the W hotel, here service friendliness is celebrated and alone my arrival (birthday) turned into a party. The staff is very attentive and solves tasks directly and absolutely reliable.

Went their for Ramadan's Alsultan tent. Options are pretty wide be it for salads, food, deserts, or drinks. The atmosphere was incredible and full of happy people. The food taste was some what off, I guess like every other open buffet.
