W Doha Hotel & Residences Review

Great place to stay! Really great service this time around! Highly recommended!

The waiter we had javed was above and bound great guy

Well we loved this place - nice room, good views. Clean. Located about 25mins from the airport, 10mins from the Souq Waqif but in a much nicer area if only staying for a short time and still looking to experience the local sights.

One thing tainted this whole experience for us - we left in the early hours in the morning and we asked the staff to organise us a taxi . We specifically asked the bellman if this was indeed a taxi when we walked out and he confirmed. We are reasonably experienced travelers and we could see what was going on. No meter - must ask a fare upfront and/or just get out!! He wanted to charge us 100QAR.

It cost us 47QAR in a metered taxi to the W from the airport with the 25QAR flag fall. He quickly conceded to 50QAR which we paid because we were short on time and didn t have time to unload the luggage and wait.

We are paying customers of the hotel - don t try and stiff us! Bad look.

Came across those 2 attractive art pieces.
Very interesting as every person sees different idea and message in it.

Went to the spice market for a colleague's leaving do. We all had great fun. I especially enjoyed the virgin cocktails.

Wonderful and luxurious and open buffet food in Ramadan is very terrible

Nice place to stay it's different but make sure to have your needs (supermarket, snake's) with u as most of them is far , nearst is city center (around 300m walking) no need for a taxi

Try the market restaurant the have a very good business man lunch

I never stayed thier but restaurant , club and bar are really good also the area is busy which great when you leave the club

This is a bad experience. In addition to checking in my room card set is the general member's cover (because the membership rights written above are completely different from my titanium card rights), Titanium members not only have room availability. Did not get the upgrade, but also got the lowest floor 4th floor room, after the mobile phone ONLINE communication, get the room to the fifth floor of the cool corner suite.

The most irritating thing was that when the hotel came to the new room to be replaced, the phone said that it would take 15 minutes to make a final confirmation, but I waited for an hour in the room without any response, so I had to go downstairs first. LOUNGE enjoys HAPPY HOURS. After an hour, I went back to the room and received a call saying that the room was ready. I asked the staff to come and help carry the luggage, but this is another half an hour. I am really dissatisfied with this hotel. The efficiency and attitude of things.

I very much regretted choosing this disappointing hotel. It is totally inconsistent with the spirit of W. I don t even have the welcome gift for the most basic members. In the end, I found out that I stayed one night late in the account details. This hotel is really Surprisingly.

I went to drink alcohol. The restaurant manager and bar counter men on the ground floor are friendly. We had the most popular pizza. That's very delicious. It was more delicious than the pizza I ate in Rome. Upstairs club is with membership system. It seems to be paying a little in half a year, but when spg members told transit, they were allowed to enter. There is an extra charge for the sofa.

Standard 4 star hotel, but getting there is a pain. Also, strict rules at the bar even though it's advertised as business casual...

Loved the hotel. Located at west bay. I went on my birthday and the staff was super friendly. Liked the food and ambiance.

One of my favourite hotels in Doha. They have 3 great restaurants but my favourite is Spice Market.

Easily one of my favourite hotels in Doha. However my most recent visit left me upset and disappointed. I was excited to try their new salon the Cut, Nice interior and brightly lit, quiet with no music. I requested highlights and a cut. I left feeling heartbroken. My treatment was rushed and poorly coloured. My hair was washed quickly with no toner( required when colouring blonde hair A toner is used after a bleaching process if there is too much gold or brassiness present & the desired shade is more neutral.) Even when I questioned it. In an hour and half there was no offer of refreshments. I was the only person in the salon to four members of staff. I really expected so much more from one of the best hotels in Doha. On the plus side the cut I received was good. I will however not be returning or recommending.

Best sushi ever, in both restaurants at the W. Very delicious and keeps you going back for more.

They had a great dinner special that was really affordable, I enjoyed the curry and the appetizer for the meal. My dessert was Japanese cheesecake, it was good, but more of an American cheesecake which I wouldn't have ordered.
The service and drinks were great, very nice and attentive.

Disappointingly bad coffee, which is a shame as the ambience and decor is really chic. We ordered 2 flat whites and they'd burnt the milk. Initialy this was forgivable as they were happy to replace it, what wasn't forgivable is that the second lot of coffees was burnt too... how hard is it to get the basic right?!?!

It is not my place on earth but it could be worse I guess if you try to enjoy it surely it is possible to find nice place there too.

Bag and phone went missing and security unhelpful in Wahm.

Had an absolutely amazing Iftar here this evening and just wanted to say a huge thank you to the hotel. It was my husband/ my birthday, and my friends surprised us with dinner here. Beautiful table, beautiful setting and such a good atmosphere. The food was unbelievable, fresh and great quality and I would highly recommend going at some point before the end of Ramadan. Afterwards, head to Wahm for shisha and tea. So elegant and calm at night and definitely worth a trip. Very impressed and we would recommend it to anyone! Thank you so much!

Amazing staff at this hotel, I normally don't like the w but this experience changed it. End room is amazing and enjoyed the art gallery on top floor
