This football club, founded in 1927, receives a maximum of 3 stars. No more. The changing rooms and the shower facilities in particular are not in good order and score insufficient. In 2019 you should be able to shower properly. It would be good if V.V. Maarssen brings this quickly in order. The football canteen is a cozy football canteen and you have a slight view of the main field. The coffee is reasonable. The parking area just next to the entrance to the football complex is free and there are quite a few parking spaces. Note that it can be busy with a full competition program. Some fields are good, but there is also an old artificial grass field, which actually needs to be replaced.

Large football club with at least 6 pitches, ample parking space and a large canteen.
Be careful that you go inside at the right entrance, there is another football club with a different entrance from the parking lot.
As a guest you will receive a card with the floor plan where the dressing room is and the field where you must play.
There is enough room to do a warm-up (that is different for many associations).

VV Maarssen is a cozy football club at the Daalseweide sports park in Maarssen, near the Amsterdamsestraatweg. His biggest rival is OSM'75 in Maarssenbroek. If you are a member you will be classified by age: from 4 to 6 years you are in the benjamins, then you train every Saturday afternoon. From 6 to 8 years old you are in the internal competition, then you train 1-2 times a week and on Saturday afternoon you play a game (football, of course) against peers. From 8 to 10 years you are in the 8-numbers where you train twice a week and play a match against peers on Saturday, from this age there will also be a selection. From 10 to about 18 years old you are in the 11-numbers. You train 2-3 times a week and play a match on Saturday against your peers. Above 18 you belong to the seniors and you train 1 to 4 times a week depending on how high you play. You also play a match on Saturday or Sunday against fellow seniors.

A whole group of football fields on Marsen, where you can play football all year because of the mild climate. There is a warm building with a cafe. And a lot of parking. There are almost no benches in the fields, and those waiting have to stand.
