VV Maarssen is a cozy football club at the Daalseweide sports park in Maarssen, near the Amsterdamsestraatweg. His biggest rival is OSM'75 in Maarssenbroek. If you are a member you will be classified by age: from 4 to 6 years you are in the benjamins, then you train every Saturday afternoon. From 6 to 8 years old you are in the internal competition, then you train 1-2 times a week and on Saturday afternoon you play a game (football, of course) against peers. From 8 to 10 years you are in the 8-numbers where you train twice a week and play a match against peers on Saturday, from this age there will also be a selection. From 10 to about 18 years old you are in the 11-numbers. You train 2-3 times a week and play a match on Saturday against your peers. Above 18 you belong to the seniors and you train 1 to 4 times a week depending on how high you play. You also play a match on Saturday or Sunday against fellow seniors.
