Cute gift shop. Found some nice local items for my friends Christmas. They also have a shelf of locally distilled liquors which was pretty exciting to me! I can't wait to try the aged double barreled gin...nom nom nom!

Really relaxing vibe! They carry a wide variety of local crafts and artisanal products from local vendors. Art, photography, woodworking, apparel, and a good selection of locally sourced food just to name a few.

The Local Store is such a cool place offering unique and tasty items from the Chippewa Valley! I have gone here many times to get gifts for others and have never been disappointed with their service or selection.

Loved all the locally made things. Very quaint and cute store. Neat one of a kind items. Buy a $1.00 caramel at the counter if you visit....the best caramel I have EVER eaten!!
I attended the opening reception for a new exhibition of art by a local photographer. The display room allowed the art to be seen to best advantage. I enjoyed looking at the high-quality items for sale in the main part of the store, and bought several for myself and for my grandchildren.

Discovered Volume One when I was attending UWEC and still love it now. My favorite part is probably the listing of classes or events that are happening in the area. The Local Store is also amazing and I have bought stuff for myself and even as presents for friends and family from out of town. Have never been disappointed by a visit and all the stuff I have purchased has seemed to be good quality without being too expensive.
I actually bought a really cool shirt from here. I went to school in Eau Claire at the college level so it was nice to see that they have a store where you can buy local trinkets

This is where we go when we need a gift for out-of-town guests, family, friends, coworkers, hosts, etc. We also go here for gifts for ourselves. Bought ourselves a Wisconsin cribbage board and love it!

Gorgeous, quaint lil shop! Lots of local made items- pottery, artisanal soaps, specialty cheeses in the shape of a cow, gorgeous pottery, clothing, wooden toys, etc. Most of it Wisconsin themed. Masks and hand sanitizer available, all workers were masked as well.
Lots of unique Wisconsin items. I looked all over for a cribbage board. Yep, they had some really nice ones.

My only complaint is that this place isn't closer to me hahaha. Stumbled across this place with my girlfriend while we were visiting Eau Claire and we both found things there that interested us. Prices aren't cheap, but neither is the quality. Cool place.

Love this store. Small but well organized. They have locally written books, artists, music, jewelry, soaps, and more. Such a fun place to shop for gifts. They also have a small place they do events in like host readings, use as an art gallery or show Christmas movies around the holidays. Never gets old, I have gone there innumerable times over the years. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere make this a must stop.

I took a wrong turn and ended up here! I absolutely love this store! I love what it stands for, the aesthetic, the products and the people! As a ceramic artist myself, I was very pleased at the prices. Quality, handmade, local goods are hard to beat, so, I m happy to pay a little more to support artists and craftspeople who are trying to make a fair wage while using their gifts and talents! I m venturing out on a similar path, opening a gallery and studio, and had a lot of questions. The shopkeeper was friendly, encouraging and helpful. Yay for local!!!
Cute souvenir shop in a nice part of Eau Claire! It combines an antique shop with current cultural items, like music, arts, and crafts. Mom will love this shop!
Awesome variety of WI and EC items. Visited when I came back home from out of state and looking forward to showing off some cool unique gifts. Anyone looking for a unique gift can certainly find what they are looking for here. I'll be back on our next visit to see what new items they have!

Cute little gift shop of 100% locally themed items, and locally made. A lot of posters, tshirts, glasses and mugs cheese and beer themed and a lot of other smaller stuff, toys, etc. Very small, but a fun small place.
I come here mostly for the writer and poetry events, but they have a wide selection of local merchant's products. It's a great atmosphere and the staff are all very helpful and pleasant.

Awesome little shop with tons of locally made things. Lots of stuff from eau claire or the chippewa valley area, and also just general Wisconsin things! Also loved the local music being played, already was introduced to so many local artists because of just one visit here! Volume One is also a great news source for the area, would recommend everything related to them!
For all tour entertainment in the Chippewa Valley, pick up a free copy in most restaurants, grocers, and other places. Great human interest stories, too.
My wife and I always enjoy stopping in here. They have a lot of awesome and unique gifts. Plus a lot of cool local themed items. A lot of the items they have a hand made and or from local companies as well.
When I make it to EC, this place is a must to visit. Love the merchandise!

The experience starts when you open the door, the sound and smells welcome you before the staff have a chance to say "hello". The pride for Wisconsin becomes infectious as you peruse all the things you didn't know you need and want. Take your time, put your phone's down, and take it all in. I can't wait to come back.
