Volkstheater Rostock GmbH Review

Operetta "Mrs. Luna" Highly recommended. It was a nice evening.

We were there for a poetry slam, the entrance was hectic as only a few doors to the hall were opened.

Here it was pointed out after the formation of a grape, that there are other entrances on the other side, which unfortunately can be traced back to the signage on site.

At the bar must be paid depending on the operation, which is billed. Within five minutes there were deviations from 20 to 300% of the prices.

The atmosphere in the hall is consistent and the decor is very comfortable. Even taller people have plenty of legroom here.

Accessibility needs to be taken care of, the ways to access elevators are not immediate.

I've looked at cabal and love here.
The actors were very good in their roles, but the incision was very ridiculous.

The theater is getting on in years, but it doesn't lose its charm. As some reviewers have noted, the parking situation is a little tricky. It is advisable to use large parking spaces nearby.
We went to the musical "Fame". Even if the actors are not full professionals, the artists played and sang with a lot of passion and fun.
Price / performance ratio is really good here and cheap for a card from around 15.
Gadrobe 1 per item of clothing and, with the exception of a women's handbag, you have to leave jackets, food and drinks outside.
We liked it and can recommend the theater to others.

I watched the performance of FAME. I liked the idea very much. The equipment is okay, the seats could be better. But the view of the stage was great.

It's just provincial theater. You can feel that everywhere. A new building would not change that either. The problem is that the medium of theater is a thing of the past.

The Volkstheater Rostock is a great place with plenty of room for creative minds. It definitely pays to look at one of the pieces from time to time. The only complaint is the accessibility. Despite the possibility with wheelchair or the same to make his way through the house it remains extremely complicated. All in all, the Volkstheater Rostock is definitely worth a visit!

Christmas fairy tale visited in 2019 with the grandchildren. It was also a nice experience for the adults. My last Christmas fairy tale was just as beautiful at the same place about 55 years ago. May this performance also be remembered by the children.

Concerts always very good. In the theater, the strobe light / staging annoys sometimes getting used to. Actually, operas are always good too.

Very small theater. Anyway it is a good place to come for locals.

This place still has the right ambience for a theater. Very nice idea. Negative, but absolutely, is the break time. Much too small.

This makeshift building of the Rostock Volkstheater has been to be replaced by a new theater since 1967. I am now skeptical that a new theater will be built in the next 30 years.
The quality of the ensemble has improved significantly in recent years. Since I mainly Attending operas: I can recommend the opera performances.

Unfortunately, in the past the city has repeatedly fought conflicts with the theater directors - not to the benefit of the theater.

Great performance and great actors. Piece was very well implemented. But unfortunately you sink into the old seats, so it's hard to hold out until the end of the performance and then get out of the seats.

The musical was very well inspired and played with heart and soul.

Classical music was never part of my repertoire but I have now developed a taste for it by the great musicians of the folk theater. Great performance and thank you !!!

Unfortunately, the theater has gotten a bit old, but that does not bother us. Anyone who knows the story of the theater, the financial hardship associated with it, overlooks it. For wardrobe is enough space available and you will find your way around quickly. We were visiting the annual Christmas fairy tales.

The playhouse is getting old.
The game board offers variety.

The Peer Gynt performance was wonderful! After the concert experience last year, this interplay of all disciplines in the bidding was just great! It is always nice to experience the joy of playing in our Volkstheater! Thanks to everyone involved! I'm looking forward to more nice theater experiences!

Was not there for a long time but everything was very nice

I go to the Volkstheater Rostock as often as I can because, in my opinion, it performs the most socially critical pieces and puts them in a dress so everyone understands it. Even for children, this theater is always worth a visit, due to the many children's pieces. In summer you can even experience this theater in hall 207 (shipyard).

A cozy little house. It is a bit dated and of course it can not compare to modern theaters, but on the other hand it has charm and nothing to do with the productions.
Own parking is not there; It offers the city harbor for parking.
We liked it.

"Fame" ... very very cool. 20 minutes standing ovations. Class!

The Volkstheater Rostocker is always worth a visit to the ensemble.
In the 80 years after the war, no mayor was able to create a suitable house for the arts in Rostock.
It was time!

Unfortunately always a bit too little good advertisement for everything ... (for example in the central station, with large companies, schools, music schools etc.).
The moderation could have been a bit more passionate ...

Nice performance by Richard III. I really have to go to the theater more often

It was a very beautiful evening. We had a lot of vocal enjoyment and fun with the comic opera "The Love Potion".

Accidentally got into a wonderful performance by Fame. Great!!!!!!!

Fight Pampers! Program for children, but no service for toddlers.

Today I experienced a wonderful ballet with the "Four Seasons", which I can only recommend to all lovers of modern dance.

Great theater. For little money you get maximum performance here.

The operetta "Frau Luna" was performed excellently by the different actors. It was a treat for the eyes and ears of every spectator. The standing ovations from us speak volumes. Come again in late March. Tina and Reinhard Westphal, Admannshagen

The piece was good. Unfortunately, the house is no longer reasonable. Something new is finally needed here

There are good performances artistically. The theater building is a shame for Rostock and Germany.
