I retained Arjun to assist me with my CVOR Appeal matter. I was told by other lawyers I consulted, it was a looser, cut a deal. Arjun took my case to trial, found an angle and had my CVOR marked conditional and allowed my business to continue. Be careful when leaving a big retainer, luckily I only left $3,000 not $5,000. I spoke to ARJUN for 40 mins over the phone and he did not mentioned it will be billed as he told me at the end I cannot handle case and will pass on to my colleague. I went in and repeated the same story to Sania. At the time of invoice which I waited over a week to receive I see ARJUN charged me $350 for the 40min phone call. I have no problem paying a consualtion fee but don t expect the customer to pay twice to repeat same story to your colleague. I feel like they take advantage of the retainer amount and make the bill as close to that as possible so you do not receive a refund. In my situation what I personally think was 5-6 hours of work came to 10 hours of work. Communication wasn t that great either only positive is my case was resolved. If you want to hire them leave smallest retainer possible and set some ground rules so your not tooken advantage off other that you will be fine !
