The hotel is under construction, everything is going well

First off, I'm only giving this 4 stars because the place could possibly do with a lick of paint and a bit of modernisation in the rooms (the lobby, bars and restaurants are pretty perfect). HOWEVER. We love this place! The food is fantastic, and the view from the restaurant over Monaco to the west and Menton to the East is breathtaking. The location is utterly perfect, as it's perched on a cliff in Roquebrune with a sheer drop below down to the sea.
The pool is great, again with a view over Monaco, and this is where it gets a touch quirky. We spent the majority of a day down at the pool, sunbathing, swimming, having a few drinks (they could do with a slightly wider range of beers - it's just Heineken unfortunately), and they played Mika's first album on loop all day, presumably because of Grace Kelly's fame in Monaco! A little bit odd, but quite funny!
All in all, we love this place, one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The service is great, the views are probably the best you'll ever see, but it really could do with a touch of attention in terms of decor in the rooms. It's not shabby by any means, but it could be better.

A titanic project and a breathtaking view for undoubtedly an exceptional palace

Hotel under reconstruction .. upscale with an incomparable view ..
To be tested without fail at the end of the work ...

For those who have stayed there, they will no longer recognize it ... it has been completely razed to the ground ... they are rebuilding it from scratch, enlarged and when it is finished there will also be a residence with swimming pool, Spa and three restaurants .... end of works (forecast) 2023.
