Purchasing solar through Vision Solar was a great experience. I appreciate the time that Charity spent with me explaining all that was involved. She was very thorough and answered all of my questions. I definitely would recommend the company and Charity to help you with any solar needs.
My panels were installed February 23rd.
It is now 9/11 and still not on. I did my research.
Vision was the 4th company l sat down with.
Since choosing this company I've shelled out 450 to have my trees trimmed.
780 to the bank to save my credit.
1,400 in electric bills.
I still haven't heard from them as to why and when l asked to get out of this contract l was told l would be in default of this loan.
It's been a very costly mistake on my part.
I just want out.
These people truly cared. One of the reps Allen called to see how i was doing. And asked if my dog was feeling any better. My dog had to go through surgery after a tragic accident. But now my pup has been feeling a lot better . Thank you Allen! My solar system was installed today. I was truly amazed how fast they put it up.

My husband and I signed up for solar panels on March 5th and it is now almost 7 months later and nothing has happened; they have sat on our roof, unfinished, with nothing turned on..and every time we contact someone at Vision Solar, they make promises that are never kept and can only apologize again and again, with no results. Even today, we were told that someone would come to our house and take the next step toward completion, and the appointment time came and went - and no one showed up. We called to inquire and they said something about a part they needed to get before coming. But no one called to let us know. This is just one of numerous examples of how Vision Solar has shown up unprofessionally throughout this process.
My husband - all too late it seems - started investigating reviews of the company (on multiple sites - Google, BBB, etc.) only to find that most people have had the same or similar experiences with the company. I will own the fact that we clearly didn't do our due diligence in researching your company beforehand; we actually had an excellent sales person who convinced us that it was a great deal we were getting...but we clearly had no idea what kind of business we were getting involved with. I am frankly shocked this place is still in business at all. Don't waste your time.
The people who set their appointments tell you that they are working along with the power companies in the area and offer NO COST solar programs which are funded by the power company and you will have NO OUT OF POCKET expense because the power company want to buy your power from you so the system as you are now considered a power resource for them. Actually it is no money down and then you m use get a lone for thousands if dollars paid over the next decade. Not free! Be careful of these scammers!!!
I was very skeptical about solar and had been going back and forth about it for years. I had few consultations in the past and none of them could get me a good saving and also cover my whole electric bill. But I had an amazing experience with Vision Solar. Sam was great and gave me all the information I needed to make a decision. She made the whole process really easy and informative for me. I am really happy with the concierge team and the installation was very efficient. My SRP bill this month was $3. I am really happy with the company and would 10/10 recommend it to everyone!
Notice there are only 1 s or 5 s on there ratings? Believe me the 1 s are accurate and the 5 s are bogus reviews. Vision Solar will say anything to get you to sign the agreement. They will also install the solar panels quickly because once there on your roof, it s tough to back out of the agreement. After the panels are on your roof, you will not hear from them. You will have non functioning solar panels on your roof for a long, long time. They are in no hurry to get them up and running. You will have to proactively call them, but it will be useless because their concierge department is clueless. They don t know any information and have no answers. Their standard response for your solar not working is the township . All lies. If zero stars were offered, I would give them ZERO.
I was given an appointment through TEP (no problem other than they said it would be just 30 minutes). Instead, they pressure you to agree to pay your average electric rate for that year DURING the "30 minute consultation". After an hour of them seemingly texting info back and form from a central office and doing math by hand on a notepad, they still hadn't finished their pitch and so I asked them to come back after because I had to do a video call. They came back after the call, and then tried to make me an offer handwritten on a piece of paper like a TV-show used car deal. When I said I needed to talk it over with my spouse and not agree ON THE SPOT to their rate, they got all miffed and tried to sell me for the next 20 minutes on their product. They never called back later that day, nor did they send me the quote I asked for several times. These guys are a joke and complete waste of time.
Love this company! Allen is very informative (he knows his stuff) and helped us understand the number of panels we needed for our home. From start to finish every team member was professional, friendly, listened to our concerns or questions and the entire process of placing Solar on our home went as expected. Highly recommend!!!
