Wow, I must be a ghost or something.. None of the staff acknowledge me being there. Ended up walking out after I had what I needed and the guy at the counter continued to stare at me and then back at the computer screen. Very akward.. Went in today to get a 3.7v battery and charger. They want way too much for a battery I can get x10 of for the same price elsewhere. They don't even have a charger for the product they are selling. It's a shame because I'd prefer to support local business, but looks like I'll just keep ordering my gear online. You guys need to focus on providing in-store customer service, not just talking with you regulars the whole time while others wait on you to finish. Very sad scene over there..

So, I walked into Visalia Hobbies an hour ago with $900 in my wallet and the intent to spend every last bit of it on RC gear. Specifically, I wanted a Spectrum radio, a Blade 230s heli, an E-Flite Turbo Timber and associated accessories. All were in stock and ready to go. And yet, here I sit with $900 still in my wallet. I could have easily, and efficiently, ordered this stuff off the internet. But where and when I can I support local business. However, the customer service was so appallingly bad I ended up just walking out. I will now order this gear from Horizon Hobby and will never set foot in there again. Which is a real shame because that used to be a good hobby shop.

Good place for all kinds of hobbies. Rc cars, Rockets, Airplanes and Helicopters. The Help is always polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. Ask for John

Ordered an RC part via their website. Didn t receive a shipping notification so after two weeks I tried emailing and messaging Visalia Hobbies and was ignored. When I called, I was put on hold and hung up on THREE times. On the fourth call the associate told me the line was breaking up and hung up again. Disputed the charge via PayPal and Visalia Hobbies didn t fight it or acknowledge it so I got my refund. Can t speak to their in person store but their online store is 100% a scam.

What a joke been here multiple times walked around for 15 min as owner and employees walk by like your not even there not once asked if I needed help... this place takes the fun out of hobbies best thing is just come here see what you want or need and order online!! nothing like it used like it used to be when it was a REAL hobby store around the corner.. if you hate your job and business that much sell it and move on bud!

It was fun seeing everything cool and they didn't have the traxxas ford raptor. They said they could order it online for me and give it to me and Tuesday and guess what... They didn't call me yet.

This place is awesome, the employees are very helpful and friendly, all they want to do is help you out and get you interested in a new hobby. They can be slow sometimes but I have been coming to this shop for almost 6 years now and they never fail to get my rc trucks running. They do a great job with anything you need.

I could not be happier with there help in finding the perfect fit for me. I m so grateful with the customer service coupled with all the information I needed to understand the RC car I bought. (The E REVO 2.0) I must note that even during these hard times and corona virus pandemic They provided exceptional service. Even short handed I can see they are trying there best to provide the best service possible. Thank you guys again for the amazing good price and exceptional service given to me. I m a Very happy customer!
