Virginia Tech's Marion DuPont Scott Equine Medical Center Review

My little Bentley is a 5 lbs, one year old, full grown Maltese male pup with stage 3 luxating patella in both back legs. He came here for surgery and the doctors, student practitioners and overall quality of care we received was amazing. His incision site is beautiful, and he s already on the mend, after only 48 hours out from surgery. I cannot thank this team enough for caring for my sweet Bentley. Thank you so much for your care and love!!!

Today was my first visit here and it was positive. My pet is still with the Vet and her team. Dr. F and B (the student) were more than patient and thorough with the initial consult. They were sincere, compassionate and great listeners. I am hopeful for a positive outcome for my beloved pet. I am impressed by the facility and the professionalism demonstrated by this team of young aspiring veterinarians. Prices are steep but a payment plan is available for those that qualify. So, it is my opinion that one should call in advance to explore the options that are offered.

Great knowledge base and very professional staff. Elodie Verhulst is a very gifted communicator providing great explanations all the while keeping the concerns of the animal owner as important as the animal. We're thankful for a world class facility only an hour away from home.

Dr. Heibert & team took amazing care of our puppy, Griffin, when he needed emergent attention on a Sunday. Students and staff kept us frequently updated and made us feel like they really cared about our family member. We are so grateful for them!

I've had nothing but good experiences with the VA-MD Small Animal Hospital. During the COVID of it all, I was very impressed today at their curbside system; it was quick and efficient, and I felt safe.
