Surprisingly, in Moscow there are only a couple of places where Afternoon tea is served. One of them is the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Here you can choose from three options for the tea ceremony - standard, Russian and royal. The first and third differ only in the fact that the last included two glasses of champagne. The second - in the Russian style - with a samovar, elegant set, pancakes, pies and pies. I opted for the standard version, with finger sandwiches and scones. Perhaps it was the most modest Afternoon tea in my life. For two, there are four sandwiches: with egg, tuna, salmon and cheese (thanks to the staff for meeting me and replacing all the meat and bird sandwiches). Several mini-versions of desserts (two types of mousse pastries - coconut and chocolate; two macarons, pannacota, a few Madeleine). One scone per person (by the way, scones are perfect), they are served here with sour cream, but I asked to be replaced with whipped cream. Two kinds of confiture (cherry and blackberry) and honey. The tea for two persons included two teapots of tea (400 ml each). It was the most tasteless tea I drank in Moscow. Water disgusting quality! Dishes are the most shabby, napkins are washed up to yellow spots. The service is excellent, very attentive and friendly young ladies. Desserts are great. But the decor, dishes, tea - below average. Alas, I do not recommend tea at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Moscow.
