Vintry is definitely overpriced, but they have a great cocktails, wine, and whiskey list and yummy small bites. Great for a first date because it's not a sit down dinner and you can go somewhere else afterwards. The bar tender and servers are also very laid back and nice.

Very uncomfortable, backless stools are the only seating option. Service was a bit hit and miss the day I visited.
Excellent whiskey selection but staff is not very friendly and knowledgeable with the amount of variety they have. It can get very busy which diminishes their ability to provide proper service too. Would ve rated this 4 or 5 if not for poor service.

Vintry is a cute wine spot on Stone street that has great ambiance and a large selection of wine. They aren't the cheapest place, but worth a visit regardless if you need a solid place to meet friends. They provide several different sizes of pours, so be aware of this when reading the menu and placing your order. Otherwise, your bill could get quite large very quickly!
The staff have always been very attentive and the food is great - make sure you get an order of the meatballs.

I had a great experience with my visit. The lamb stew was do good and I tried a hot specialty cocktails that was amazing.
We ordered a cocktail each and a selection of cheeses and meats for a belated valentine's day lunch. They have a huge menu of cocktails and it was difficult to choose. I went for the bacchanalia, which is basically a mulled wine with cognac added, and my boyfriend chose a moonshine based cocktail which was tastier than my wine. Both were good. Atmosphere is nice, cozy and dark in certain areas. The bar itself is overflowing with spirits and the wait staff was very friendly.
Stone street has a cool vibe with all of the outdoor seating. Vintry is a nice, cosy wine bar with friendly staff, good selection of wine, and reasonable prices. They have several all you can drink happy hour specials which I'd love to try.

This place fares well below what it's trying to be: a fancy and cozy hideaway for sampling high-end wine. Their wine selection is good without being memorable: the choices are relatively straightforward. There I a considerable lack in character on the part of the sommelier. But it gets worse: between the mediocre country rock music, the faux stone washbasin, and the sexist ad in the men's restroom, it comes at no surprise that the typical clientele consists of finance Bros and boring boomers. I haven't tried the whisky.
TLDR go there if, and only if, you're a male whisky fan on your own in FiDi. Otherwise, don't bother.

Good seating both indoors and out. They have a wine expert on staff to answer questions. They have a good selection of small plates. As the name would suggest, they have an amazing selection of wine by the bottle, but I wasn't that impress by their wine by the glass section
Amazing cocktails. I mean it. They made me love the Sazerac which is a classic but always made wrong. My wife loved the lighter cocktails. Everything was crafted to perfection. And we both enjoy many cocktails and I mix my own at home... 100% recommend !!
Disgraceful establishment! We came for Whiskey as the name suggests but were shocked to discovered they water down their whiskies and a lot of them seem to have oxidised. We had a whiskey merchant in our group who was flabbergasted they would do this. We like our whiskies neat and this revealed their behaviour. Cocktails were ok.
There was a pubic hair in the cavatelli. And my google review was determined to be unlawful. Seriously google? Putting pubic hair in your food should be unlawful.

Tucked into one of the most magic hidden corners of Manhattan, Vintry offers an upscale, fancy wine drinking experience. The whiskey menu is extensive, and the small plates are wonderful for ordering and sharing a whole bunch. It's a bit expensive, but the romantic atmosphere is worth splurging on.
Super helpful bartenders. Taylor is my favorite; he can breakdown the variety of whiskeys and speak to you in terms you can understand all with respect to the kind of whiskey you prefer.

great drinks. almost too many choices but a nice selection of a variety to choose from. Keep in mind all their wines are in temperature controlled rooms so some reds that would normally be served room temp will be somewhat chilled. apps are decent, wish they had a wider selection.
We attended Cassandra Wilson's show at the Blue Note last week. Having seen Ms. Wilson at a number of venues across the country, we were looking forward to seeing her in such an intimate, and historic, setting.
Unfortunately, our evening was marred by several factors.
1. We arrived 50 minutes prior to show time to secure decent seats. After waiting in line for 40 minutes, we were allowed in, only to find that people without reservations were let in before us, even though we had been waiting outside for some time. Having been to the Blue Note several times in the past, I realize seating is first come, first served; however, letting those who have just randomly shown up in versus seating the people who have been waiting in line for 40 minutes and purchased their tickets 3 weeks ago, seems misguided.

Great food and bar selections, bartenders were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. The duck was prepared well and was great. For the quality and service the price was very fair. I will be back on my next trip to NYC.
Went to a private party here. The beers were expensive, and selection wasn't very good, but there were a couple great beers there. Not much vegetarian stuff on menu.

We stopped in here for a quick drink. We found an expertly-prepared cocktail that was a real treat! Huge selection of whiskeys and other liquors. Our fine bartender suggested "A Wicked Fight" which was fantastic. There is nothing quite like a sophisticated drink made by someone who knows exactly what they're doing. The complex flavors were easy to taste (especially the BBQ bitters!).
The bar was very clean and beautifully appointed with crafted wood and leather. The fascinating array of ingredients and liquors was neatly arranged and very clean. We will absolutely be back the next time we are in the financial district!

Vintry offers several different sized pours of wine and whiskey, allowing you to try new and unexpected beverages. However, it's important to know this before ordering- I ordered a glass of wine thinking it was $10 for the full glass, but that was the price for the small flight-sized wine. It ended up being a more expensive night than I intended- dim lights plus confusing menus. Try the meatballs.

Rustic/minimalist candlelit room with a teddy bear bartender serving up a selection of classic and classy cocktails, wide range of whiskeys and bourbons, and unusually generous portions of bar bites like buttery marcona almonds and luscious burrata with eggplant tapenade, on my next visit I'm going to explore their curated charcuterie boards.
