This is a hard review to write. My family and I served in this church for many years and we felt like we were family. When Covid hit, they shut the church down and fired our very popular head pastor with almost zero explanation. I say almost zero because the only real explanations that we got weren't honest in any way. We still have zero idea why this happened other than gossip, which a church shouldn't be promoting.

When this happened, I tried to contact the church leadership about why this happened and got the typical corporate BS response. Is that how Christ's church behave when confronted with leadership issues? We were left with horrible leadership that gutted the church.

I worked in security, and after returning to the church for a few months I couldn't help but notice that 90 % of the people that I had served with had left the church and are now attending other churches. This isn't a good sign and a complete turnover of volunteer staff is just awful.

When trying to address things with the church leadership I was told to just trust God. That is great, I do trust God, but I know that churches go bad and that is exactly the sort of platitude that they display when they do. I trust God, but I don't trust Man, and this church is displaying why this should be the case. Churches should be able to be honest and let us see how and why they work. What they did was and is reprehensible.

This was a great church, it isn't there now but had a great backbone of good Christians before Covid and their improper actions. I pray that they return to what they were. For now, my family and I will be attending a different church and will happily return once the church has regained it's honesty and integrity. Until then I would think very hard about what I believe in before attending this church.

@Mark Cambell I haven't been back to a church since. I too, emailed and asked "why".. there was zero transparency . The person who called me was polite, and nice, but the reasons, and the answers were just white wash. I still, to this da, have no idea why this happened. I loved going to The Vineyard when Pastor Rob was there. It was his(Rob) transparency that drew me in from the first time I visited there with one of my sons and his family! We all really loved attending that church. We all said the same exact thing! Rob just shared his life's experiences and his relationship with Jesus Christ, and that is a great way to share the gospel, in my opinion. Its was this church, and Rob , who actually motivated me to read my Bible from front to back, for the first time in my life and I am 54 now! Rob would always talk about reading three versus , or chapters, or something like that, each day, and you will have read the Bible through in a year! I used the old excuse ..." I just don't understand the Bible, I'm not a good reader...bla, bla, bla..." One day during the usual reminder of , read your Bible, Rob says, " it doesn't matter if you understand what you are reading, GOD understands YOU!" Read it, HE will help you to understand ! It was as if Rob had called me out in front of the whole church, yet, I personally never spoke to Rob face to face, other than passing him and his family up in the hallway one morning. When the pandemic hit, and the very next week I got the email that Rob was no longer going to be with our church, I didn't have a church anymore. And after seeing how so many churches reacted to this whole mess, I still haven't been back to a church. Man has really disappointed me in ways that have never happened to me before, and that seems to be the ongoing theme to this day. The veils are being pulled back on almost a daily bases... I have been reminded in some very big ways, this world is not my home.

We visited this church to see We The Kingdom last night. I just wanted to thank all of the volunteers who helped with the show. Our seats had a monitor in front of them & the mature gentleman in the red shirt covering section 700 had us moved to wonderful seats. I didn't ask him to move us. He just took it upon himself to do so. I really appreciated that. It was my boys first concert & they had a wonderful time. The pastor asked us all to look at each other & smile. It was the first time that we had seen some smiles without masks in a year. It was joyous. We received such a lovely welcome there that we plan to visit a Saturday service. Thank you!

Went here for premarital counseling. Very impressed with their teaching curriculum and the level of quality of the teaching couples. Went to a service here as well and felt welcomed and known by the community. Down to earth church with a modern feel. Free coffee, good contemporary worship music, meaningful message, mature faith focused with an eagerness to spread the good news and challenge others to share it in their lives.
The congregation does seem to be a bit on the older side but that was based on a Saturday evening service.
The auditorium was clean and well kept. The stage lights during worship were colorful but not distracting, the band was well rehearsed. The service felt like a good recharge while not trying to sell you anything or like a theatrical production. Good stuff.
