We went yesterday and it was a hot day so we expected it to be busy - however a 2 hour wait for the diggers and a 45 minute wait for ice cream was not what we expected! Kids, especially younger ones, will love it. But don't go on a hot weekend or in school holidays or the fun is taken out of it. It does look impressive and has the most fun looking crazy golf ever. The foam spraying tree was another highlight for the kids as well. The sand and water area will leave your kids covered in mud so be prepared! The biggest disappointment was after we visited the animals the hand washing area had no soap or paper towels! Then people went straight to buy ice cream! Yuck! Expensive if you stay all day, choose your visiting times wisely but overall your kids will think it's great!

We absolutely love the ice cream from here. My children are a little too old now for our the play activities this place has to offer, but we travel for an hour there and an hour back just for the ice cream. We buy it by the tub and stock up when we go, as it's so far out to travel to regularly. I just wish that one of the outlets ( Calderstones park or Speke Hall) would start selling it by the tub so we didn't have as far to travel.

Can be very busy even on rainy days. Loads of things for the kids to do. Free to enter and pay per activity. Different ways to pay in clueing a prepaid card system that makes evens cheaper the more you buy. I recommend visiting there website and reserving fast pass slots

Really good day out for the whole family. Free to get in and lots of free activities. There is also lots of paid activities like the JCB diggers and the indoor play areas but these are reasonable prices.
The ice cream is the best ice cream I have ever tasted it's not cheap but it's well worth it and they have got so many different flavours to choose from.

First went on a sunny Sunday, just to try out some of the huge variety of flavours, no children with us. Absolutely heaving, with long-ish queues for everything, but didn't much feel that way because there is sooo much for the kids to play on - but you have to buy play passes for however many different play areas they want to go on. The ice cream was gorgeous. So much so that we visited again first thing on a Friday morning. Lots of pre-school age families already there, and a huge primary school trip arriving just as we left, having tried out some of the other flavours!

Whilst it is understandable that it would be popular on a sunny bank holiday it was far too busy to be anywhere near enjoyable. The queues were horrendous, food wasn't great and the cramped layout meant that it was impossible for our 2 year old to play on anything and be able to see us for reassurance. Such as a disappointment as we travelled 2 hours for a family day out.

Very popular but apart from soft play when it was raining there was still space to be found. Food in the pantry was nice a reasonably priced. Staff in there were really good about having a cake for a first birthday. Ice cream was awesome. It was worth taking the kids swimwear for the wet play bit. No need to worry about wet clothes

It is a really good place to visit with family and little ones. Parking is plenty and perfectly organized. Restaurant is quite good. Changing stations for the little ones do not lock the door, so be aware of this. There are plenty of activities, including horse riding and excavators to play with. Ice cream is amazing but a bit pricey.

Really nice place kids love it.
Don't go on a Saturday or half term as you will queue 40mins for an ice cream.
....
Very friendly, although it's courtesy for the girl in ice cream parlour to pretend to find my dad joke funny.

The process of parking and entering simply to get an ice cream is time consuming and lengthy. This is predominantly a toddlers and kids play farm... with access to ice cream, if your prepared to join on of the 3 ques...even the overflo Wye was lengthy, then wait for 22 mins...thats your choice, sadly the quality of the ice cream was not good enough.. it's taste seemed to lacked that taste of cream and fresh egg yokes... ? This was a warm sunday so a 2 min que was expected... but not much... :(

I really like this place for the kids, it's packed with things for them to do and of course the most varied selection of ice cream anywhere in the UK. This is however not a place without faults. On busy days the lack of toilets becomes an issue especially if you are potty training. Additionally they have added many more "shops" that rather than selling ice cream or quality products they seem to be stocked with overpriced tat. Nevertheless I have been visiting here for years and seeing it evolve year on year is great. I am sure they will have the balance right son enough.

Now it's just a money making pit. So overcrowded and loud. Used to be lovely, but comparing how it is now to a few years back it is sad. It has gone from a cute farm style shop to basically a gigantic playarea for screaming kids.
The animals looked so fed up. They've got nothing to occupy themselves with. I so wanted to let them out of their bleak pens, the poor sods.

Currently only offering drive-through ice cream (visit was before lockdown 2), having walked we were turned away We came back with a car later and had admittedly delicious ice cream, but it was a little absurd that there was no way we could get an ice cream without a car... The staff were very friendly and apologetic though.

We travelled an hour, based on the ratings (and 90 mins on the way back).

There was a dismal looking animal area that didn't tempt us. The big slide was closed. The ride on car "experience" was on a more or less barren patch of land. The kids did enjoy the bouncy pillow and my nine year old liked the screen arcade games although the point of these places is to get your kids off the screens. But if you're into saccharine, unimaginative, expensive experiences for kids - this is the place.

A very nice place for families.

A very nice place for families.
Lots of attractions for kids. Ice cream very good, lots of choice but waiting time 20 minutes plus
There is also a restaurant, especially at the weekend, a lot of people, but the tables are dirty and you can stick. The food is served as if it doesn't matter that people come back here.
Ample parking is always in place.
But most importantly, the children are satisfied

Great day out kids loved it, was busy on the day we went but other than that definitely worth a visit. Best ice cream iv ever tasted. I managed to get a tub home before it melted with the assistance of a freezer bag bought from the shop. Lots of activity for the kids and if you buy the activity tickets in bulk it works out alot cheaper.

I don't know why everyone says it's so cheap! Sure, they let you in for free, that's because it gives them a chance to fleece you for every penny once you go through the gates. I now live relatively nearby, but will only go on toddler mornings, but now that's awkward with having to drag the kids out of the play area at some stage if they want their toast (included in the price). If you're going with big kids, be careful, because they will want to do crazy golf, video games, ice cream, gold panning, etc. all of which are anything but cheap! It's still worth going, just be prepared, but not with a picnic, because they're banned (for obvious reasons).
