I was there on Saturday had the most wonderful experience n wow the guy who was assisting us was the best (Lihle)... Definitely coming back!! It would also be nice to have a restaurant than having to go somewhere else for food.

What a phenomenal experience! The staff are friendly, the wine is a treat and the game drive is the best available in the Western Cape. I can't wait to go back to try the MCC and nougat pairing.

I wholeheartedly recommend both the wine tasting and the safari. I had some friends visiting who were keen to go on safari and heard about Villiera . I wasn't particularly keen to accompany them on safari, but decided to go anyway. It was FANTASTIC! I learnt so much in those two hours and saw so much stunning wildlife. You really, really get your money's worth many times over. Within the first 20 minutes I was so glad I had decided to go on the safari as well.

On top of that, the wine tasting included afterwards was great. I think it was 6 wines in total. Several of my friends left with a wine bottle or two.

Overall, just a marvellous experience and I'll definitely be coming back.

We did wine tasting and game drive on 7th October. Overall a very enjoyable experience. The wine-server-cum-game-ranger Guillaume was so informative and obviously passionate about wines, foods and animals and his enthusiasm and "re-enactments" during the game drive really entertained us. We never knew there are white Springboks! Wines are mostly impressive, scenery is beautiful, nice ambiance, friendly staff. Well done! If friends visit us here in Cape Town, we will take them at Villiera Wines to experience this too.

I loved visiting Villiera Wine Estate, it really is a hidden gem in Stellenbosch. It's been a while since I've been on game drive, so I really enjoyed seeing the different antelope and the Giraffes and Zebras. The game drive itself was very educational, even for me who grew up in Africa. I will recommend the Game drive to Internationals and Locals.
The wines were outstanding, my favorites were the barrel fermented Chenin Blanc and the Grier Chardonnay.

Had a quick stop there today. What a stunning entrance to the farm. Ampule shade parking under the trees with all the autumn colous. What a welcoming experience by a very attentive young man, Paul. Will have to come back soon

First of all, when I can find parking right next to the entrance, by the easy to follow signs, Im already impressed.

The entrance to the Reception area is beautiful, clean and calls you to enter.
I was amazed to see that this wine is available at Woolworths. That in itself is prestige!.

Our day at Villiera started with a wine tasting. These guys are great hosts.
Our choices were made, and bottles were packaged and ready when we returned from our 1 hour game drive. Yes, a game drive. Not the Big Five, but I was excited regardless.
Zebra, white springbok, black springbok, kudu, eland, a lonely giraffe, so many many birds. The scenary is mind blowing. Cant believe it was only 20 minutes drive from our doorstep.
My name is added to the Wine VIP list, and I cant wait to read about all the events that takes place. Cheers!

A crowd of friends experienced the WINE SAFARI!
It was a wonderful experience! From the wine Tasting (could have stayed longer) awesome selection of great Wines to the Game Drive.
The Ranger gave us so much in dept and interesting information about the game and we so enjoyed the Giraffe lying down! as well as the other animals plus flora and fauna on the property.
Also impressive is what Villiera is doing and giving back to their community.
A fantastic Experience! Thanks to all at Villiera

Villiera Wines is situated just outside the town of Stellenbosch, about a 30-40 minute drive from Cape Town CBD. Being just a short distance from the N1 highway, this wine estate is easy to find and easy to access, while offering ample parking space under a lovely tree canopy. I visited Villiera Wines to experience their Sparkling Wine and Nougat tasting, and was satisfied with the overall quality of the offering. The tasting is slighly expensive at R120 per person, considering that the nougat is not "home made", but a commercial product readily available in stores everywhere. The sparkling wines were enjoyable and of top quality. The premises is clean, neat and the staff helpful and friendly. Patrons can view the cellar, vinyards and enjoy a tour at the nearby wildlife sanctuary. Lots to do and see for any tourist visiting the Stellenbosch wine route.

Exploring the farm by means of a game drive will just show how diverse this farm operates and the amount of effort that goes into the sustainability of the wild life. Villiera Wines has some hidden treasures to discover.

Upon arrival we were welcomed very warmly by the staff of Villiera Wines. They were very helpful with their explanation.
We took the game drive tour (a 2 hour safari tour through the lands surrounding the winefarm).
The guide was very professional and had alot of knowledge. We stopped from time to time while coming across zebras, giraffes, antilopes, turtles, eagles, etc...
Everytime we got interesting information concerning the animals.
After the tour we did the winetasting. Again very professionaly done and even turned out to be free (we did buy 3 bottles of wine eventually).
Would definitely recommend.

We sat at the fireplace and had some lovely wine. Villieria is a great place for a bubble tasting. They have a sister farm in France so you can taste and buy proper bubble. If you have not done many wine tasting then, I would highly recommend it.

Very pleasant, informarive, knowledgable and fast service- as we required. Became a member within a minute or two. Next time we'll spend much more time there. Bought some superb wines. What a lovely and interesting place.

We had a fantastic, generous wine tasting with Guillaume who was very informative and knowledgeable. Then we went on a game drive that was equally as much fun. Even got to see the rescue of our national bird the Blue Crane.

Nice place, they have a small fun game drive there. I saw giraffes, zebras, springbok antelope, wildebeest, and more.
The setting is pristine too. Lots of photo ops all over. Well worth checking it out. This place was great to see some wild life so close to Cape Town.

Cap Classique festival. Great. Simon Grier running around like a superhero, with a superhero team, making sure everyone feels welcome and is enjoying themselves. Great wines, reasonable prices. A must go for a tasting. The Grier family is meeting its goal in making this everyone's favourite winery.
