We had very friendly service, especially given how busy they were. The price was very reasonable, although the food was nothing to write home about and the place felt more like a chain restaurant than a wine bar.

Came for brunch - egg Benedict left lot to be desired. Potatoes weren't great either. Sitting outside could be nice in this setting - however I am unlikely to recommend this to others.
I came here for a glass wine and dinner one weekday. They have a great HH- enjoyed two nice glasses of wine for $14. The service was great but it also was not a busy night. The seafood was good, I've had better (I live in NYC!) It was above average. I loved their tomatoe bisque! That and their bread was my fav. People watching and the heat lamps were a plus!
Very good! I had their meal deal for 29 dollars. I ordered the tomato bisque, steak, and carrot cake for this combination and it was very good. Good beer selection for a small draft list. I went with Firestone Double IPA. Server was very calm and on top of everything. Would definitely eat here again
My wife had a ahi tuna and it was overcooked. We were surprised to see a "surcharge MW" on the bill, we learned from the waitress that it was a surcharge for minimum wage why is it not factored in the price in the first place ?
I came to this restaurant afte being at a exotic car show on the Row. I had been craving breakfast type of food. I entered the place and noticed that place is pretty packed and loud. However, I was immediately seated. I noticed this place has a full bar. The staff is very friendly, and quick. I forget what I ordered, something along the lines of "village break". It had two scrambled eggs, black forest ham, diced potatoes, and cinnamon roll. The eggs were notifiable noticably fluffy, potatoes nicely seasoned although I prefer mine more salted, ham was soft and tasty, and the cinnamon roll was a nice treat. This place is a little pricey. However, I think I would visit here again.
Very bad experience today. We were told we couldn't sit on the outside aisle as they were reserved while clearly right in front of us other people were getting sat who had no reservations. The hostesses were very rude...both of them and clearly lack any finesse with customer service. When I tried to talk to one instead of apologies I got more attitude. Needless to say never returning!
The atmosphere of the city was very good and it was a place where families could enjoy it with peace of mind. There is also a parking lot nearby, which is convenient. Of course the food and service were nice.
Wonderful cafe along the main drag of Santana Row. I've only had breakfast at this restaurant and it's usually good.
The ding in stars is for the slow service. Lots of people around, very pleasant, busy as bees, but nothing seems to get done relatively fast. I'll give it another try in a few months.
Went in for lunch, server Melissa s customer service approach was non-plus (seemed to be going through the motion). Meal was ok, wife had tuna melt and I had jambalaya bucatini with drinks. Asked for the bill, left a tip with the charge, paying by credit card with a signature. On checking my bank app I was charged the correct amount. However a day later discovered the charge for the meal (less the tip amount) has been charged to my credit card. Very dishonest and very disappointing from what appeared to be a reputable establishment situated in an affluent area.
Went for brunch on a Saturday, was not busy and service was slow. My partner had a scramble which was flavorless and the potatoes were underdone, and I had the divorced eggs which were okay but made my stomach hurt. There are much better options in the area that will cost you less money.
Really nice down to earth friendly place. Breakfast is great-not easy to find an early opened place here so yeah! Had a yummy veggie scramble - obviously fresh produce. The home fries could have been a little longer on the gril for crunch but it came out fast.
We called in and before making the reservation we where told there are many vegan options.
We called ahead and asked if they had vegan options, the person on the phone who took our reservation said yes. We arrive and were sat down quickly.
I asked the waiter if they had a vegan appetizer he went off on a rant that they did not have vegan options and that all I could order was a Salad.
His attitude was not the most apologetic and it was clear it annoyed him that I wanted him to ask the chef if a Vegan option could be made. The first time in years I walk into a restaurant I am told they have no way of making a vegan option in such a rude way.
On my last visit to San Jose 8 years ago I had an issue at the restaurant also. It seems things have not changed.
Cute bistro located on Santana Row with plenty of outdoor seating. Although the menu is limited, they cover the basics and the food is consistently good.
Have you ever had raw chicken? Well that is exactly what I was served when I ordered the "pan seared chicken". It arrived with exterior color that seemed fine, when I "tried" to cut into it the meat was so tough. After finally discovering the problem, I realized the meat was COMPLETELY RAW. Needless to say my appetite was gone the rest of the evening. If you can't cook chicken, I hate to think what the other dishes are like. Will not be back.
Food was subpar. My husband's was colder than room temp...not appetizing for eggs benedict w salmon. The service left half of our preplanned party still waiting for their food. They received it as the other half finished. Do not order the tuna melt, dry with coagulated cheese on top. Very disappointing.
Nice service and drinks. The food was...uninspiring. We had the "Hangover" and the "Divorced Eggs", and neither was good, and both looked awful. I don't think I can blame the execution, the meals just seem poorly designed.
Good food and service. The restaurant is big and was not super crowded on a Monday at lunch, so my friends and I were able to linger without feeling rushed, which was nice.
The service sucks. 45 mins seated waiting for our wine and brie cheese which never came! No apologies offered, no even one "I'm sorry". It is a shame because the place looks great, but with that kind of service I will never come back!

As we had just arrived in San Jose from Ohio, we felt like it was lunchtime at 10:00 am, our stomachs still being on EST. But this was the only place we could find open. We hit it lucky.
Our waiter was courteous and helpful in explaining the menu items that had odd names. Later he answered our questions about the artwork.
We got the Bay Shrimp Louie and the Bistro Cobb salads. With both the ingredients tasted fresh and delicious, with generous portions. And the coffee was awesome.
All in all a lovely start to our California vacation.
