Fantastic location, delicious food, effective service

I stayed at villa irlanda because of a family wedding. The hotel seemed amazing online but when we got there it went all downhill. Lobby needs some upgrade to do, it looks very rundown. To go to your room there s a but of a hill. We had 3 bags and we were never asked if we needed help to bring the bags to our room . We had such a struggle . Rooms are clean but very old, bed was comfortable. Breakfast is bad, lots of bread and eggs that have been seating there since early morning . Go early if you do not want cold nasty eggs. Juices are very sweet. Their restaurant menu is very plain, not much choices to choose from and there s barely some restaurants around. Staff wasn t the greatest. We encountered some problems during our stay and the lady at the lobby never took initiative to help us . Thank god Roberto took over the lobby and he was the only one who listened to us and helped us through. Pool looks nice but during my stay it was always dirty. The wedding reception was at this hotel and I may say all the guest were unimpressed with the awful service this hotel provided . We hire someone to do our make up and hair and we got send the list prices before even arriving. The day after we were being charged the double of what initially it said on their prices, not to mention they wanted us to pay cash only. The groom and the bride got charged extra for somethings they didn t even asked for . Ex : they put 500 for the bar and when the 500 for the bar was done they said to ended. They never ended the bar bill and the next day surprise the extra bill of alcohol. This is just disrespectful. Their huge cale was never given back to them, instead the hotel kept it and we never heard back from it. Plenty of things like that arrived during our stay . They just want to take the max of money out of their guests. This hotel gives Italians a bad reputation. Is insane all the little things they try to do take our money or charge us extra .

It is a nice and quit place ,good services ,a very nice swimming pool

Great pool area, good range of breakfast, with clean and spacious rooms. The well-kept park and the hotel's own bathing bridge give them extra points as well.

We found nothing to complain about and really enjoyed our stay at Villa Irlanda.

Beautiful place, clean, charming and a spectacular swimming pool. However, the staff at the bar was unfriendly and didn t bother requests. The breakfast didn t meet our expectation at all- we had to wait half an our to be served and the food was packaged. All in all, a good experience but service should improve to justify the price
