If you want to have a romantic dinner on a lovely place it is the right place. Better on the terrace by the lake in the summer. The veranda is also very nice. Menu with refined dishes. Excellent service.

Very romantic and evocative place, the property manages this place at the highest levels respecting the standards that these places require.

There was no time for sightseeing. We could only see it from the boat. I'm sure it's as beautiful as the inside.

Rude employee at the door that made up there was a wedding so we couldn t have lunch on the Sun deck. Incredibly rude, screw this place go to Grand hotel Tremezzo. Pompous vibe, steer away.

An amazing location with fantastic food, unfortunately the concierges underhandedness brings this 5 star hotel down to a 3. They use any excuse cheat guests out of an extra 100 here and there. When booking a 5h boat tour they clamed that any additional stops would cost more when in actuality the boat was at our disposal for 5h with any stops we requested. This I would let slide as perhaps it was a misunderstanding but then when booking our transportation to the airport the car company was very clear about the price payed to the company, yet the concierges added an extra 20. As such, how can I justify tipping them? This is the first time I have ever had such a bad experience with a five star hotel concierges, it s unfortunate they allow this to take place. Although our stay here was lovely be very careful when dealing with these people.

Save your time - do something else.

We decided to detour a touch to see the gardens in tivoli. Had heard it was a popular day trip from Rome. Thank God we had some spare time because this was a complete waste. Maybe a tad harsh as, sure, the Gardens are nice, love the constant sound of water but the finale at 6.30 which we hung around for was underwhelming.

But most of all the entire experience was marred by the disinterested staff at the site and minimal information. If they don't care then I suggest you don't bother with it either.

We had dinner at the Veranda restaurant, great food and above all great service! A very classic place, old time flavor, elegant, don't miss such an experience.

It really is a place .... Magical! But in the garden you can hear the roaring motorbikes whizzing on the neighboring road. Sin!

This hotel is AWESOME. A luxury hotel with a premium service and food. Located at Lake Como. The best moment I had was: morning running by the lake and after that having breakfast at the hotel; an outdoor restaurant, so you can imagine having breakfast under the sunrise at Lake Como with great food; it s amazing!

How can I criticize a sacred temple?
Wonderful atmosphere, I was a guest for dinner facing the lake.
Aubergine parmigiana, truffle fillet, tuna for my guests. Good but not excellent dishes.
What I did not fully appreciate is the service, because clearing the tables, removing tablecloths and pillows with customers present is not the best.

Being a luxury hotel, yes you can only see soooo far away .. Or as guests of course ..

It s anything but cheap, but well worth a visit if your budget allows! Try the pool bar for a slightly cheaper lunch.

It has always been the place that represents luxury and exclusivity par excellence for the entire Lake Como area.
Magnificent and well-kept structure inserted in a wonderful landscape context.
High-level hotel and restaurant (even if in my opinion the cuisine is not exactly the same level, cmq it's a matter of taste).
Splendid garden: curare, varied, very tidy .....
It is no coincidence that this location was the set of many television series and the fact that the interminable American saga of Beautiful has chosen Villa d'Este for a few episodes speaks volumes ....

Not to be missed, the villa is fabulous. Villa D'Este is really charming, inside the frescoed rooms, it seems to be immersed in a painting. Lovely gardens and fountains. It is wonderful to walk through the fields with the background the sound of water.

We only had the opportunity to eat on the main terrace and enjoy a swim in the pools (indoor and outdoor), but the place is simply stunning! They take care of every detail at all times and the location is unbeatable

The staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. There are different sizes and styles of rooms to suit everyone and are all beautifully presented. The food at the main restaurant is exceptional. My granddaughter describes it as Paradise. I think that says it all.

The most incredible place I have ever visited exudes a 50s retro atmosphere of great refinement and elegance. Gourmet dinner of the highest level superlative service ..... What a nostalgia. Certainly very expensive but once in a lifetime you can also do to really feel like a queen !!!!
