The old-fashioned charm of a grand hotel, in an exceptional setting. The staff is attentive and charming. The conference rooms quite nice.

Enchanting location and place to find a quiet that does not exist in the city

Enchanting place ... harmonious in all its forms .... to say elegant is an understatement, because it is much more ... the villa is majestic ... royal ...
All very kind staff .. I went one evening for an aperitif, I was on holiday in Como, I thought that none of my exes had ever dreamed of taking me to such a lovely place, so I said ... no problem .. I'm going to see him.
I put on the most beautiful dress, strictly black ... heels and went. I remember that the tale of Cinderella came to mind ... when she was able to go to the Royal Palace in an elegant charm too ...
I booked the aperitif, being Covid times .. as the hotel porter told me.
In this way I was able to visit the hotel and enjoy the panoramic view that can be seen on the veranda overlooking the lake.
Then in a room, with live piano music ... I had an aperitif at my table, I chose an alcoholic aperitif, while I usually don't drink alcohol, it seemed inelegant to take the non-alcoholic one, because it was the cheapest one of all ... and when I asked for the bill ... they didn't even charge me ... what to say,
the maximum of elegance ... perhaps the "ladies" do not charge ... something now forgotten ....

Location, location, location. A plece that relies in. Its superb location and its history, really need a thorough update in design to be the queen of the lake again.

When I was little I lived in a small village in the province of VARESE not far from Lake Como, entering VILLA DESTE was my dream but unfortunately in those days there was no financial possibility for my dream.
3 years ago I was invited to a wedding and finally 45 years later or had experience of seeing this beautiful villa even if it was only for a short time. From just entering the wonderful room to the service the delicious foods presented with culinary art to the beautiful gardens pool and views wonderful experience if I could I would give it 100 stars to VILLA DESTE ON LAKE COMO and I hope to come back and this time to stay more and truly enjoy all it offers

There are two places on the shores of lake Como where you should stay. The Villa d Este is one of them. Not only a great place for car enthusiasts- in 1929 the first Concorso d Eleganza took place in the garden of the Villa d Este. The rooms decorated in classic Grand Hotel style. Staying at the Villa d Este is like a travel in time when elegance and style was celebrated. What a fantastic hotel in a fantastic location.

Beautiful location but the cocktails and bar food are terrible for their prices. 32 for a salmon bagel???

I gave it 4 stars because I think the prices are too high compared to the offer

Elegant and refined. Fantastic lake view .. Walk in the park up to the interesting and particular castelletti.

WARNING. Do not welcome those who are not guests to the hotel. Just wanted to walk around the grounds and a have drink to soak up the view. Refused entry. I'm sure they have there reasons which makes them elitist and not diverse. Such a disappointment.

One of the oldest and most beautiful villas on Lake Como is a famous 5 star hotel. The hotel has 125 rooms with air conditioning, mini bar, satellite tv. The hotel offers various services and facilities, swimming pool, restaurants, spa, fitness center, parking, etc.RECOMMED !!!

Magnificent resort on the shores of Lake Como. With my car rental service with driver I bring many passengers just to have lunch in this fantastic structure. The landscape all around is fantastic.

I see a 4.7 review, here ? How is that possible ? Its not! This hotel is exceptional. 5 + stars for sure. The attention to detail is unsurpassed. It is the finest hotel I ve ever been to. And I have been to many. I consider myself quite the critic. One would be hard pressed to find a finer hotel. The staff is kind, knowledgeable and pleased to help in any way. Hats off to the management team. And to all the staff for your tireless effort to make our stay memorable.

Bar at the pool. Terrible hamburger and the salad with tuna was from a old can. Don't understand why this place with these prices cannot have quality..

Lovely place in the beautiful city of Cernobbio. The lake is the background but the historical, artistic and gastronomic richness is all that of the hotel. Possibility to access it even if you are not a guest of the hotel. Spa, swimming pool, golf course and the well-kept outdoor garden enrich the value of this structure even more. The courteous and helpful staff makes guests feel at home but with 5-star service.

A spectacular place ideal for taking pictures. It's expensive but it's worth going to meet and maybe have a coffee.

I worked on it between 1967 and 1968 as a Concierge. It was a beautiful hotel. I fondly remember the guest friends at that time, including: the singer Lara Saint Paul, and the American actor Lee Marvin, then, very famous for the western films in which he had acted.

Very nice place to be. You should have seen it... Haven on earth! But... The restaurant 'veranda' was not worth the price : nice plates but completely tasteless... I wouldn't recommend it. Sorry...
