Vienna Marriott Hotel, pre opening Review

We got to the Hotel and we specifically asked for a park view room. We had been travelling for 10 hours and we were exhausted! Then we got told that they had given our room away! Instead we got a rubbish view and we didn t get the room we paid for. It would of been courteous to at least call us and tell us that our room had been changed. So we had to wait another 30 mins for our room to be ready. Absolutely ridiculous! Definitely won t be going back

I would not recommend this hotel.
Very dirty! There is dust everywhere in the rooms.
They treat Asians badly!
Noise at night, some sort of Arabic music.
The smell is as if everyone was doused with sandalwood oil.
Guests from Arab countries, 80% of whom behave very rudely. They talk loudly, constantly go from room to room. Drive cars to the main entrance. It is immediately clear that they are the owners))) And the Austrians are running errands for them)))
WiFi works disgusting.
The staff pretends not to notice you if you are Asian.
Arabs are primarily served.
There are no seats in the lobby in the evenings!

Candle light dinner and brunch with a great buffet. Staff very nice. Prices according to the beautiful ambience.

Fantastic location to stay. The cafe restaurant at the ground floor is great. Rooms are average.

The coffee at the bar was missing sugar. The monitors showed uninterrupted on 14.2. Advertisement for an event on the 8.2th negligent leadership of this department.

Everything seems to be 4-h, even the breakfast is excellent. But you are waiting for an endless daily deduction / blocking of extra money, 180 and 360 euros were blocked from me for 2 days in addition to paying for the room. I will repeat in two days! In addition to blocking 720 euros for the number itself and 100 just in case. In booking.com when booking about it, not a word ... Except as natural kleptomaniacs, I cannot name this hotel. This makes no sense. Yes, while the staff cannot say anything sane from the word at all. One time they see one amount, the next time another, at the same time no one sees all the blocked amounts. I enclose the photo, 823 at the bottom is for the number itself and 2 amounts are red, they blocked it, I don t know how to call them softer

The staff is incredible, always eager to help and provide great suggestions for eating, entertainment etc. Great central location easy access to everything.

Great choice for a central location in the city of Vienna. Very attentive staff and always looking to assist. Clean and updated rooms.

Excellent overall. Room is nice and sufficient - ask for higher floor and facing street if you can (otherwise you may be facing another building just about 2-3 feet away from your window). Staffs are all wonderful.

We are talking about a 5 star, where:
299 rooms and a wellness area (swimming pool and saunas etc.) undersized, service not excellent, rooms to be redone at 5 pm, cleaning leaves something to be desired. Perhaps it should be considered at most 4 stars. The quantity is at the expense of quality! Not recommended for that amount!

Staying at this hotel is a unique experience of moving to 20th century where you don't have complimentary water in the room and can use wi-fi only for MONEY. Electricity and water in bathrooms is free BTW.

Super nice hotel. Really convenient to the metro trains. You can hop on the D, and be down town in two stops

Jazzbrunch at its finest. Huge selection of buffet, good wines, attentive service. Jazz standards were played, very ambitious. We came at our expense.

This Hotel is by far one of my favorite ones...very centrally located, just a few steps from the stadt plark and is my number 1 recommandation to stay while in vienna...they have a beaitiful members lounge at the top and the staff there are amazing. The Asian lady that works at the lounge is 7 star for her service..dont know if she still works there.

Was in the Sport Bar (appointment). It runs 10 monitors with three different programs simultaneously! Not exactly comfortable

The sportspub is mega..good American citizens with beer selection from the best .. great hotel lobby .. the porters could be a bit more customer-oriented instead of dealing with your cell phone .. does not belong in this hotel.

Hotel very well located. It is near the train station that comes from the airport. It is also near the subway. Walking three blocks is already in the center of Vienna where are the main shops. The hotel is very tidy. It has several restaurants, 1 bar, club floor, swimming pool. It is in front of a park, and has a bike path that takes you to Vienna's opera house.

I liked the hotel, even if I did not choose it. And even if I would not book it myself. The room was comfortable and clean, the reception courteous and the conference area above average. Then there is the ideal location at the Vienna City Park. That I would not book the hotel itself, is because I like to sleep with the windows open. And that probably only works on the inner ring of Vienna when you're deaf.

Brunch: Excellent quality, huge selection, super polite and attentive staff, exquisite ambience and still reasonable prices! From me an absolute recommendation !!

If you visit Vienna as a tourist, probably the best you can do is to check-in at the Vienna Marriott Hotel, at Parkring 12a. Very well located in the heart of the city, this charming hotel offers excellent rooms with all amenities (including a swimming pool, shopping arcade, Business centre, great restaurants) and friendly staff! Ask for a Park facing room (at extra cost) to round off your stay.

I am a Gold member and asked for the heavily advertised upgrade on check in and was told they re sold out. As usual. We then asked for an extra night on our stay - again - sold out. We then went into the website and manually added a night and saw other rooms. Additionally, the clerk was generally rude to me. Our traveling partners were Platinum and were told we could not use the lounge with them. I gave it 2 stars for the nice room and good location. But with rotten service - sorry.

The candlelit dinner is great, great atmosphere and delicious upscale food. The service staff reads every wish from the eyes! Any time!

A hotel with staff providing the worst system, worst service. Trainee came late at night and made a tired guest wait for more than 30 minutes, but he said that the check-in ended absurdly without providing any information about the use of the hotel.
If you come to Vienna again, you will never stay here again.
Of course, there are no staff members who control children and adults who run like their own house while screaming like crazy in the business lounge on the 8th floor. There is really no other confusion.

Rooms are large and spacious. The M Club lounge for elite members is one of the best. The food service is wonderful and staff is lovely. The bar and cafe inside hotel...all great. Location is also convenient. One of the Marriotts I will be returning to.
