Been coming here for years any time we're vacationing in the area and, as always, it was great. We ordered the oysters rockefeller, peel and eat shrimp, and the blackened grouper sandwich and all were delicious. Good and personable service. Can't wait until next time!

A bit disappointing. My grouper was over cooked. My wife's food was - crab cakes with something else - disappointing. My beer was a bit flat. The server was hard to track down. Three stars because it's on the water.

Great little place. Had to check it out since my grandkids are coming next month and I m looking for places to go in my boat. I just had the peel and eat shrimp but they were very good. Covered in Old Bay and served with butter and a spicy cocktail sauce. Very good. The building is old but very cool. The staff was on the ball and very nice. Definitely going to cruise up here on my boat next time.

This place is a place for locals. Reminds me of Bob's burgers. If I were describing it as a person I'd have to describe it as a one eyed wrinkled Floridian pirate. This isn't a place you bring your wife to have a nice meal. This is a place you bring your dog and flip flops to enjoy a relaxing sit down at the bar with the cool ocean breeze flowing through the windows.

Rundown rusty little shack. Food was edible but questionable at times. Ordered Cesar salad... Looked like they took left overs from someone's salad and put it together on my plate. Creamy clam chowder was slimy. Chicken tenders over cooked. Unless you're about to pass out from hunger , I won't recommend eating here

This is a really fun atmosphere and the food and drinks are great. I had the seafood chowder and the gumbo, I preferred the gumbo but both were excellent. Great view of the water, nice place to chill for happy hour or anytime really.

EPIC FAIL!

EPIC FAIL!
Wow what a complete and utter disappointment. My husband grew up in this area during childhood summers. We have now returned on our third vacation to St. Pete, with our 3 daughters, and all he could talk about was going to the Wharf.
Upon entering I wanted to purchase tshirts. The hostess, an older lady, was a complete witch. Then we witnessed another patron family getting harassed by the wait staff, the family ended up leaving soon after, and the restaurant staff applauded (actually clapped) as they walked out the door with kids and all.
This bar / restaurant had empty seats at the bar and couldn't handle their own freaking attitudes.
I had a bus boy stand behind me and tell me that I wasn't allowed to go outside without seeing the hostess 1st (which we had already done hence the buzzer in my hand) I assume from the shocked look on my face is when he then told me to get the f#@% out of his way because he needed to go outside.
I ordered 2 well drinks to satisfy my husband's need for seeing and eating at this restaurant, tipped the very nice bar tender named chewy $20 on a $16 Tab and..... we left and went to another local restaurant. A few more things happened to warrant our escape from the Whart but I have to say....
I used to tend bar, wait tables, and manage one of the busiest waterfront restaurants in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. I've seen a lot of business go through a bar, Little River Band, ELO, Dr. Hook, the place would be 4 to 6 deep at the 7 different bars you could order from and handle every person in that place with a smile on..... The Drawf has nothing on the other restaurants in this area, we won't be back, and I would never recommend The Wharf.

Terrible presentation of their food. Most notably the shrimp cocktail looked extremely cheap taking away from the experience. Also ordered Italian dressing, and received ranch which was spilt over the salad on delivery.
The tomatoes on the side salad were wrinkled and looked old. No childrens menu. Not impressed, won't be eating here again.

Went here for the first time today. We were told on the restaurant side that they were full go to the bar side. We went to the bar side, stopped at the end of the bar where there were no chairs, nobody said a word to us behind the bar. We walked around the other end of the bar, no where to sit so we walked back to the original spot at the end of the bar and stood there for another 10 minutes and nobody working behind the bar even looked at us or acknowledged our presence so we left. Super disappointed. All our local friends said it was an awesome place to go. Still willing to try it again, hopefully next time will be a better experience.

We called ahead and were told that the shrimp dishes are made with fresh caught delicious gulf shrimp. We were so very disappointed when we got our small, regular shrimp that we get back home. Our waiter was cocky as well. Not the taste we were promised. We will not be back.

If you love a really good fish fry, then this is the spot. For 8.95, you get 2 fillets, lightly breaded, of the most tender, white, flaky and fresh fish. The waitress said it was Mahi. It was beautiful. And it was served nice and hot. Why do I point this out? Bc most places don't get that part right....hot food sb hot. Service was fast and friendly. It's a fish shack so nothing fancy but very cute.

Food and service were great but the skinny margarita was nasty. They only carry Rose's lime juice which is non existent in most bars nowadays and they didnt have agave nectar therefore, they dont have a skinny rita. Lucky for me I just got a tequila on the rocks lol. I fixed it myself. Friendly advice: kick the Rose's and buy fresh lime juice. Huge difference. I have 24 yrs experience ..17 behind the bar. Trust me! Wings and shrimp were amazing as always

One of the best places in St Pete to grab a beer, some food, and watch the water. The lobster bisque and the conch fritters are some of the best you'll ever have. The prices are a little expensive because it's on the water but much less than you might expect from other waterfront places.
The only thing considered a negative is the parking. Get there early or you're going to have to park somewhere else and that's not usually free or close.
