Vidon Vineyard is a family-owned and operated winery located in the heart of Willamette Valley, Newberg, Oregon. The vineyard was established in 1999 by Don and Vicki Hagge with the aim of producing high-quality Pinot Noir wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region. Since then, Vidon Vineyard has become one of the most sought-after wineries in Oregon, known for its exceptional wines and warm hospitality.
At Vidon Vineyard, we believe that great wine starts with great grapes. That's why we take great care to cultivate our vines using sustainable farming practices that promote healthy soil and biodiversity. Our vineyards are planted on some of the best soils in Willamette Valley, including Jory and Nekia soils which are known for their excellent drainage properties.
Our winemaking philosophy is simple - to let nature do its work while we guide it along the way. We use traditional winemaking techniques combined with modern technology to produce wines that are true expressions of our terroir. Our Pinot Noir wines are aged in French oak barrels for up to 18 months before bottling to enhance their complexity and depth.
We invite you to visit our tasting room where you can sample some of our award-winning Pinot Noir wines while enjoying stunning views of Willamette Valley. Our tasting room is open daily from 11 am - 5 pm except on major holidays.
In addition to wine tastings, we also offer private tours where you can learn more about our vineyards and winemaking process from one of our knowledgeable guides. We also host private events such as weddings, corporate events, and other special occasions at our beautiful estate.
At Vidon Vineyard, we're committed to sustainability both in our vineyards and winery operations. We use solar panels to power our winery and have implemented water conservation measures to reduce our environmental impact. We're also proud members of the LIVE (Low Input Viticulture and Enology) and Salmon Safe certification programs.
