Vidalia Restaurant & Wine Bar Review

Food was overcooked. Potato chips were tasteless. Onion rings were more bread and onion service. Service very slow. Delivery guys were opening and closing the back door letting all the cold air in while we were eating. Changing rugs. Cuban sandwich was so over cook said you couldn t eat the ends of the sandwich because it was hard. However they do have large portions.
Ordered a salad with chicken and no tomatoes and we got a salad with tomatoes and chicken on the side

The t bone was cooked to perfection, and also there burger is great

My wife & I visited during a weekend trip to the Boone area. We made an early dinner reservation and were promptly seated upon arrival. The server (Harrison) was very attentive and kept us informed & satisfied. We had the onion rings as an appetizer & they were hot & delicious. Foe entrees, my wife had the chicken & dumplings. While tasty, she felt the item was a bit overpriced for the portion size. She also mentioned the food was lukewarm, not hot when served. I had the meatloaf. The portion size was good, but the food was only warm,not hot. We were seated close to the kitchen and the restaurant was not very full since it was early (5:15pm). While we enjoyed the taste, we were disappointed that the food was not served hot. We didn t complain & no one ever asked if everything was ok. We would probably try another restaurant when in the area next time.

Great food and atmosphere. If you are in Boone it is a must to stop in. Everything on the menu is great, you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic place for drinks and food with a great atmosphere!

I like the atmosphere there...open rooms with visibility to the kitchen. Great beer and wine options. And the menu is always interesting. Also more like a farm to table type place than other options in downtown Boone.

Awesome local restaurant with great food, great ambiance, and great staff. Their beer and wine variety is on point, and their menu is full of interesting dishes. For such a nice place, the food is also pretty affordable. Been there for dinner and brunch on a few occasions and left completely satisfied with the food and the service each time.

Came to visit friends who raved about this restaurant! Super friendly at the door. Not busy at the time of arrival. From the time we were seated until our order was placed we sat for over 30 minutes. Upon ordering, we were told of up-charges ($2) to change sides when there hadn t been up-charges previously. We were told it depended on the chef. Hmmmmmmm?!?! Really. Not impressed. Based on service, probably won t return. Chicken salad sandwich and chicken/waffles was great but the ribs were below fair. Mac-n-cheez was fair. Expected more for the cost of our meals!

Quite disappointed. If you love southern cooking, it's fine. Nobody, of the five of us were impressed.

Family celebration so six in our party. Everyone's meal was amazing. One of the best meals ever and our server was so professional and friendly. All had different desserts and shared so we could taste all. Each was delicious. Definitely returning. Best meals we have had in Boone.
