Large rooms, excellent service, for the time I spent visiting this hotel I can say I'm quite impressed. Would recommend to any traveller who wants to stay in comfort - it's in a great location near the tourist-friendly areas of downtown Victoria, and has a great view of the harbour and Legislature.
This hotel has amazing waterfront views and in-room amenities! They upgraded us to the executive suite for no charge and it was incredible! Great downtown location as well.
Great views from this hotel. The rooms are huge (designed to be apartments or condos). The staff was very helpful and cheerful. Parking was very tight. The only thing i was not too happy about is that we were two families and reserved a two-bedroom suite. They only gave us a single parking spot and wouldn't let us keep the other car even that we offered to pay. I understand their parking space is limited. Still, it was very inconvenient. There is a near-by parkade that one could use.
A very nice hotel in a great location. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

We were visiting a friend during the Canada Day celebrations. The staff were courteous and very helpful.
Had a terrific room overlooking the water. We were disappointed in the room maintenance. Many of our items in the room were not replenished on a daily basis. Also we had a leaking toilet that was not fixed properly after discussing with the front desk. Our stay was pleasant but room service was not adequate.
For the money, you cannot beat this place. The parking is a little tight, but the rooms are huge, with stunning harbor views, and you can walk right out onto the harbor walk from the lower level. Staff are friendly as well. We will be back.
I enjoyed my stay at this location. Everything is within walking distance and my suite was very clean. Complimentary breakfast was also nice as well. My only minor complaint is that the parking garage is a very tight squeeze.

We weren't sure if this was going to be a good choice for location but it turned out to be the best view and location out of any hotel. We slept with doors open and enjoyed the sounds of the ships and water planes landing. The only downfall was that when someone else was outside smoking it filled our room with smoke. Grrrr

We had the best stay. We had a fantastic room upgrade when we arrived. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location of this Hotel is awesome. No need to drive anywhere. The view is spectacular. We sat on the deck watching boats, planes and people move about. Easy to get to and easy when you leave. The price for staying here is very reasonable especially when you consider its location.
Stayed for a single night in one of the two bedroom suites, everything was impeccably clean and the interior design was refreshingly modern! Bathrooms being very well put together was the highlight.

Was impressed with the room, lots of windows had the city side but was still nice to sit on the nice sized balcony. Staff were friendly, everything was clean...will stay again. I recommend this hotel.

Location was excellent, the hotel was right on the waterfront. The complementary breakfast was great - they had bagels, bread, English muffins, waffles and bran muffins available and a toaster as well as cereal and two warming trays that varies between omelettes, scrambled eggs, sausage and hashbrowns (in the time we were there). The service was great and the view (cafe is situated facing the water) was lovely. The room itself was pretty standard, the only slight issues we had were that the tub didn't drain as quickly as we would have liked and the body wash was empty (it wasn't refilled even after we informed the front staff about it). Not a big deal - I'd stay here again.

They have been lovely with us, we were on our honeymoon and they have given us an upgrade to an amazing suite with wonderful views. The room a 10, the staff another 10, the breakfast correct but not unforgettable. But the views make up for it! Thank you ever so much. See you next time!

SPACIOUS! We had the king suite with a waterfront view on 7th floor and it was huge! Friendly staff, full kitchen (complete with cookie sheet and measuring set), dining table, balcony with furniture and more closets than my own home. Very affordable (late December), very clean and had complimentary breakfast with a few hot items. The only real downside was the Wi-Fi. Slow and unreliable but I am sure they are working on it.
Located right downtown near new Johnson St. Bridge it's walking distance to to anything you could want. Exceptional value!

Novel: The Victoria Regent is an incredible property with top notch facilities and staff. We arrived extremely late (about 1:00am) on our first night - which can always be a cause for anxiety especially when travelling internationally - and we were greeted sincerely by the night audit. He was extremely efficient checking a couple of weary travelers in and we appreciated it so much. He answered a few quick questions for us, and made us feel right at home.
Our view from the room was fantastic. Potentially the best in the city, as we had a perfect view of the life of the harbour daily. The pictures attached will give you an idea, but won't do it justice. The hotel sits directly on the harbour, and even has a water taxi stop directly in front of the hotel!
The complimentary breakfast was just what we needed to start our day. Some hot options, some cold options, with a great view, and a really helpful and engaging staff.
We were consistently greeted with smiles when leaving the hotel daily and returning on pit stops throughout our adventures in downtown Victoria. This was extremely appreciated as it made us feel welcome and at a home away from home. The front desk agents were so helpful. Ben even offered up an umbrella for borrow to a couple of tourists who forgot theirs! He also reserved a cab for our departure date so we could be to the airport on time.
Lastly, our checkout was extremely efficient. Our guest agent was so friendly to us and made sure she had a smile even though my wife and I were terribly sad to be leaving. She even called the cab to confirm they were arriving at the determined time.
Terrific facilities and fantastic employees. Thank you for making this trip so memorable for us. We will be back!
The hotel staff were really wonderful! Always happy to help us and gladly booked us a few taxis during our stay. The location is also great - overlooks the harbor and near Chinatown and Market Square, plus only about a 5-10min walk to the center of town.

What a room - what a view. This in our opinion is one of the top views in this city. The room is so well stocked with all you need - tastefully decorated and functional. The view with ships and planes landing right outside your Window. It is central to everything. Surrounded by restaurants. We travel extensively and truly were shocked how amazing this hotel is.

I would recommend this hotel for short or long term stays, business or pleasure. The location is excellent, the price is very reasonable and the rooms are great size with a great view. Breakfast is included which is ok, some hot food would be nice but it has everything you need to get your day started. On site parking is very handy and free!

I can't say enough good things about this hotel! We were so worried when our ferry to Victoria was cancelled because of weather. Ben was so kind, and gave amazing customer service! He took all our worries away. He found a wonderful room for New Years Eve for our family, so all worked out better than we could have ever expected! His wonderful customer service took all our worries away! the room was clean, large and so beautiful. This hotel, and Ben, made our trip to Victoria! Thank you! This is a nice hotel in the heart of Victoria's Downtown. Everything was walking distance. We got a room with a king bed and the bed was very comfy. Lots of ample room for suitcases and the washroom was fill with the basic amenities. The hotel staff were very nice and gave us suggestions on what to eat and places to see. Hotel has nice complimentary parking which is a positive. Easy check in and out. Will be back if back in Victoria.
Excellent stay. Well located on and near inner harbour. Good clean rooms friendly staff. Breakfast included which has daily change ng hot items of an egg and hash browns or meat and fresh selection of breads bagels and such and cereals. Favorable pricing compared to other hotels in the area. We will definitely make this our go to spot
One of the best hotels we have stayed at in a long time. Friendly staff. After a day out in the town, we'd come back to our room to find our beds turned down for us and fresh bottles of water sitting there waiting for us. Well done!

I booked a standard room but upgraded to a suite. Free parking and free breakfast are provided. This hotel has a big difference in the view of the port city of Bai Rang, so it would be better if you take a little extra money to book into the port side room! The suites have kitchens and kitchen utensils like the residences, and a veranda with a view of the entire harbor. It is more affordable than the Fairmont Empress Hotel and other hotels ~!
On the harbor, downtown. Views of the harbor, government building, royal bc museum. Large suits that are fully equipped. Staff is friendly and super helpful. Parking in underground secured lot accessible with your room key. Sc Horton walk to all of the down town attractions and restaurants.
