I used to adore this place 2 years ago in my first visit to the city. But now, it's great to see the place thriving and so loved, but there weren't as many jewels taking my heart away. I had to look quite hard to find them, and often when I did, there wasn't one my size.

The staff here are on the other hand as usual very friendly and accommodating.

On another note, at the other branch I bought a ring on a flash sale. But the staff forgot to apply the discount, but despite attempting several times to contact both branches, I didn't receive a single reply. That was a pretty turn off.

I love this shop- perfect gifts for friends, awesome price point, really unique pieces. Now that i don't live in NYC I order from their website and often receive my orders way earlier than expected. Recently one item was missing from my order and their awesome customer service responded immediately, sending me the item asap. Truly exceptional service!!

Verameat was highly recommend by my friend for their unique pieces. I finally decided to purchase an item. The marketing and pricey merchandise seemed to target a high-end audience. Unfortunately I discovered that there was nothing high-end in the way they do business. I made several attempts to reach out to customer service about my shipment issue. I notified Verameat employees that my item never arrived but I had been charged and wanted some clarity on what went wrong. It took more than a week for me to get a response that offered no support or refund! Allegedly the owner Vera responded to one of my emails, stating that there has been delays in shipping and they would send my item by priority shipping. Guess what happened....nothing! The purchase was to arrive July 27th and as of August 15th, it s been crickets from Verameat. I highly recommend that you not waste you time or money in dealing with Verameat. You get better customer service from Mister Softee.

The cutest little shop in the East Village! The store is small, but not cramped or cluttered, and all of the jewelry and other items are easy to look at and browse through. The girl working the day I stopped by (I forget her name) was so sweet and treated me like someone she already knew. Also, their pin collection is full of gems and unique designs. Definitely check this place out!

Their jewelry gets me compliments every time I wear them AND the materials never change/discolor so everything looks 5x more expensive than it is. Great customer service too. Purchasing yearly from Verameat every year for 6 years. No change in quality and design appeal. :) !!!

Follow them on Instagram for artistic inspirations and cool nail art as well as their recent creations. They also have 40% and 30% off sales often so that's usually when I get my fix. VERAMEATs never say die!

The products are great, the service/communication was lacking. I bought two week shipping & hadn't heard a word for three weeks, so I emailed, without response. Finally got a hold of them on the phone, and finally received a very courteous manager's waived shipping. They were very nice, and the products are great, but it's really important to ship, and email back /communicate about expensive orders.

Tried to slip in to buy a gift before a date with a special person, at 8:05, and the woman behind the till said she the store was closed early. I told her I had picked out what I wanted online and would pay in cash. She said the register was closed and that she was "Soooo sorry!" Well, not as sorry as I was, because I was very excited to give this gift to my date on this specific night. This shop has great jewelry and the earrings I had picked out were perfect. Now I feel let down and don't think I will end up getting the earrings at all. Too bad. Total bummer.

I love my jewelry from here, the prices are reasonable for the quality and their clothes are super cool too.

Beautifully handmade jewellery.(some special clothing pieces) From the moment you step in this little shop, the girls are so nice and helpful and offer you to try on anything & everything. If you are lucky, they might offer a little discount. Hard to resist the combo of service and beautiful Treasures
