I have been running businesses for 25+ years and I have never been so disappointed and frustrated with a phone and internet service for the past 2-1/2 years. Veracity Networks offers services that they do not provide. Always read the fine print. The internet works fine until the afternoon hours. The phone system drops call constantly. The only way to call forward your phone system is through Veracity (there is no *72 or anything close). Once you need to "unforwarded" the phones, you will need to call them to do it that as well. Each time you call, it's going to be someone new that does not know how to do it. The voice mail system changes as well. Can't even explain how messed up the voice mail system is...

They require 30 days notice to cancel, but it is not pro-rated. So, if you cancel one day after you pay your monthly bill, you will still get charged the full bill the following month because it is within the 30 days since you cancelled...which means you just paid for two months of service that you did not use. Their service is also down or slow often.

I've been having issues for weeks with my internet and every time I call them they say the exact same thing, they tell me i need a new router, I eventually bought a new router but im still having the same issues.

Ok so update on Veracity Networks.

Ok so update on Veracity Networks.

I have had a much better experience these past couple of weeks. Still not the best, but at least I can see that they are actively trying to improve.

I still stand by what I stated below, but i am hopeful for a continued better experience. We will see what the future holds.

Updating to 2 stars and will continue to update accordingly.

One of the worst tech companies I have ever had to deal with.
They have the worst customer service. No one ever answers the phone, and to top if off they have monopolized the point of the mountain in Lehi. Even if I wanted to change networks I couldn't. Which allows them to get away with over charging.

Also if you look at their reviews, most real customer reviews average 3 stars or below. The only thing keeping their rating at 3.6 are all of the fake 5 star reviews they throw in periodically.

Anyone out there got some better options or ideas for me? I'm kind of done...

Horrible internet that doesn't reach two rooms away. The internet cuts out completely at least once a month. We've lost connection 4 times this week. They say they'll send someone out to fix it, but that was 3 days ago.

I signed a 4 year commercial agreement. Near the end of the agreement, I had to terminate early - which created a 75% of contract balance due. In my case this was more than $800 billed after service was no longer connected. This was painful, but it was part of the agreement.

Randy Snarr was my account representative and had always been slow to respond but this time it mattered and I took notes:
- May 5th, emailed Randy for information on cancelling service (no response)
- May something, Voicemail messages about cancelling service (no response)
- June 1st, emailed asking "What is the answer?" (responds (after more phone calls) without answering the question, but says contact me 30 days prior to cancelling)
- June 9th, emailed him saying "Cancel now" (at this time I wasn't super clear on what fees would be incurred by cancelling but I knew that Randy was not super concerned about my costs....so I figured I had better cancel to stop the bleeding regardless of their silly fees.) Sure enough, this prompted Randy to call and explain that I had to pay for the whole month if I passed the 16th of the month and that I owe 75% of contract balance to terminate early.

Awesome!
I get to pay Veracity $1000+ for no services provided between July 2nd and Sept 21st.

Thanks Randy Snarr!
