You have not been to L.A. county jail apparently. They say Prison is a better place to be. I bet V. C. Jail at least has a hot breakfast, not two sack meals and slop that you would not feed to your dog, with a few exceptions like the scalloped potatoes and chicken patty was a decent meal. I never have been to VC or any other county in California. Only LA county. So I want to stay out of trouble, maybe I will come on an AA panel and that way I can satisfy my curiosity without getting locked up there This is what I have heard. Even Cook County in Illinois feeds better but more violent. You have heard all the stories, they are true, I have seen it for myself The deputies used to beat the crap out of the inmates Sheriff Back just got 3 years, it's been going on longer than Baca has been around. Sorry this belongs in a review for LA CO CJ Not Ventura, you would not be saying VC is even worse?!
Amazing sheriff office with a great Sheriff who has a clear understanding of what is good for the whole Ventura County. I have seen the great work done by deputies serving this community and therefore can tell that VCSO is a top tier law enforcement agency.
I called 911 last night - to report a missing person and was guided properly how to eventually make a report . We thought we just have to wait in agony for call back till next day, but in just a few minutes- the sheriff was quick around the house to inform locating Richard, who is
a bit dyslexic , suffering from some sleep disorder too ( and who is selfless - he wont want to bug other people of his sufferings but went out past midnight , unwary of risk, just to get some breaths ) . The lesson we learned is to remind him check his phone to be ringing properly when he chose to leave away for long again.
We are immensely grateful for the awesome care and a job well done by our sheriff department ! Thank you so much in all our hearts. We feel home!
