The tea was real nice, had better though. The food was alwful. I am sorry but the cook, whoever he is, must be fired immediately. I can cook better and I don't cook. Atmosphere, also nice. All in all (prices, service, location, beverages) 2 out of 5.

Unfortunately, the food I ordered was inedible due to the insane amount of salt (soy sauce) used. A tiny serving of plain white rice was 5 lev. Overall, I left hungry and disappointed.
Yes, the restaurant is located on William Gladstone St in Sofia. If the prices were incorrect, as you mentioned, I would love to be reimbursed. I happen to have the receipt from yesterday.
Definitely not my place. The pillows that we are supposed to relax on seemed very used and dirty. The teas are nice but I find it a bit expensive.

Pretty decent. My mom and I shared a salad, pasta dish and an appetizer. The tea was really good and so was the lemonade.

A very rich selection of teas, which one is better and aromatic. The locality is very idyllic, nestled in the center of the town and furnished in a very interesting and cozy way. One time I've had poor experience visiting (forgotten order), but everyone can happen; wonderful tea!

Interesting dishes. Spicy hummus is great, as is the bread. The service tends to be slow, the waiters don't show up very often (at least later in the evening) and we usually have to get up and look for one of the staff to ask for the bill. Visit the restaurant when you are not in a hurry.

The food is delicious, so I give two stars. But today was our last visit. The waitress is tricky, every time she makes facial expressions and direct words that you interfere with. I have visited the restaurant several times, I have never managed to catch her in a good mood. It can show that it has difficulty and in a milder tone, not to complain to customers. Today they crossed the border, asking us not to come. I'm sure the owner is set by the waitress. For today-nor did our children have been noisy, nor have we bothered other customers. The restaurant is almost empty at noon and we always climb the second floor so we do not bother clients downstairs. I think we are doing a satisfactory turnover with consumption at a time when the tables would be empty. The waitress has turned her eyes once, squatting, throwing words that "I can not do 100 things," provided that we are always cultural. We take care of it, go down to order (because we wait for it indefinitely on the second floor). Perhaps if she had not gone too far today, we would have set up our chairs. Today, one of the pregnant girls in the company is cleaning down the stairs some things. They will excuse me, but even if they do not ask us not to walk, we have already given up. We tried to give the waitress a chance to survive in a better mood, but it is still there.

Very quiet and cozy place in the center of busy and noisy Sofia. The setting is varied with a place for any company. The food is delicious and light. Ladoux candy is not a drop with which nipple tea to choose.

It's a unique and cosy place in the center of the city. The personnel is incredibly polite and helpful. I highly recommend this place if you want to have a warm cup of tea with friends.

Very spacial place. Incredible food and tasty. Different varieties of tea. You should try their lemonades. And the chocolate truffles are speechless. There are without sugar. Just taste them. Mmmmmmmm...........

Lovely atmosphere, smiling staff and very variable choice of teas. I did not tried the food but I guest it will be just another good point for this place. They have a place "upstairs" where you will be siting on the floor (I love it) and also they sell some nice staff! Nice garden option for those hot summer evenings!

Beautiful and peaceful place to have breakfast lunch and dinner! Far from the city noise. You can have vegetarian or vegan food. Food was delicious, fresh and the price is affordable! Thanks Veda House!

Was pleasantly surprised at how good the food and drinks were. They have gluten free options but also catered to make a dish with gluten without it for me. Also great for those following the FODMAP diet as they cook without garlic and onion. Great service also.

Before going to the restaurant I read the reviews and saw that some said that would do changes in her dish to make it GF....I sadly didn't get that option. However, the service was amazing!
Another problem that I had was thay when we took the leftovers with us the bottom of the container got so wet that I got my clothes dirty from the juices of the food! Oh and the lid got wilted from the heat of the food...so it didn't close properly....Hey on a good note, the food was hot and that is a good thing :)

I would move in today and convert to 'lacto-vegetarianism'. I would eat eggless pancakes for breakfast, 'power salads' for lunch, and redeem my carnivorous sins at dinner.
I would drink a different tea every day until I had tasted the whole menu. It would take three months.
I would sleep on the mezzanine where cushions line the walls and bean bags sit like massive dumplings waiting to swallow me whole.
Fortunately for them, Veda House is a restaurant, not a house. Otherwise I'd never leave.
Overpriced and inadequately sized portions with insufficient dressing forcing you to order more just to pay extra. Slow service and uncooperative staff. We waited for over 30 min for our tea, which arrived after we had finished our meals. Totally not worth it!

The place has a very nice vibe. 2 arwas inside: regular tables and high chairs and low tables with couches were you have to take shoes off. There is also a tiny outside terrace. The staff is nice and welcoming, although spoke poor English beyond the serving level (she couldnt explain where the bathroom is, so she just showed it to me). The quality of food is great and the variety is exciting. They have a huge tea menu, everyone would find something for their taste. I definately recommend this place for chill meet ups and dinners.
Tasty dishes in a peaceful atmosphere. Many choices of teas and flavors. Also gluten-free dishes as well as pasta dishes. Desserts are also very tasty. Such as yoghurt ice cream, pancakes and sweet scoops in various compositions and flavors.
Food - excellent. Complete vegetarian and vegan options. I had the pasta Verde. Portion size was enough. Very tasty. Nice presentation. Came quickly. Cooked fresh.
Service - staff very friendly. Can speak English. English menu available. If you sit upstairs, you need to ring the bell to get service. Can offer good recommendations and advice on the food and tea.
Atmosphere - very cosy. Seating upstairs is without shoes, sitting on the floor, Turkish lamps, pillows. Seating downstairs is at tables, tiled floor. Calm and peacefully decorated.
Tea - wide selection of tea. We had the Bulgarian sunrise tea. It was very good. Came in a small pot, enough for 1-1.5 cups each for 2 people.

It is mainly a tea house but the food they serve here is "made by the gods" Highly recommend to vegans and vegetarians alike!

One of my favorite places in Sofia in terms of food, vibe, tea, and overall idea behind it. Love the areas where you can sit barefoot and unwind with a cup of tea and a vegan dessert. It's a bit of a shame that service here is very spotty - occasionally, they do fine, but I feel like most times the servers are out of space and either forget about you (and never come back), completely ignore you, or end up serving you food after 1 hour or more (not their fault on the last point, but they can try to communicate better if there are delays). I really love the place (hence the 4 stars), but I find it a bit disturbing that service is so poor in general. I get it - ayurveda, meditation, chill state of mind...blah blah - all good, but when you are a paying customer that expects something (especially if the place is half empty), they should try to do a bit better.

Decedent tea and service. They did put sugar on top of our food, which I wasn t expecting. Since I cannot eat sugar they made me another dish without sugar on it, free of charge.
