Maybe the pieces of furniture are nice but the only question we asked to a vendor was answered very rudely: "Is this the sofa you want? Yes or no? If this is the case then go to the register and pay for it!" We just wanted to have some information concerning the different finitions that you can have... We will find the same sofa somewhere else but one thing is certain, we will not buy something there.

Rotslechte customer service. Our seat was not delivered at the promised hour, which was very annoying because we were seated with a separately hired outside lift. Wrong legs included, so could not be mounted. A discount of 200 euros was given. Then they were allowed to call themselves to hear when they were going to deliver and install the legs. Again not at the agreed time (an hour later) they were there to assemble the legs, if I could write the 200 euro discount on my belly and still pay extra. Scandalous customer service!

Very nice furniture store. A lot of choices. A very wide range goes from contemporary design to the most classic. Good advice. Very correct price depending on the quality. A specific show room for take-out furniture. At more than reasonable prices. Of course also the possibility of delivery. A nice little cafe in the store allows you to rest with a drink and take the time to think about your purchases. Open Sunday.

Long delivery time = 5 months and although the sales team was super friendly, delivery service and customer service are terrible. They turn off the phone when they apparently don't like the answer and are closed for a month during the big holiday at the delivery service even though 2 of the 3 furniture was already there ... which is unthinkable today and we were not informed in advance. We have already gone to West Flanders for the rest of our interior, where service is much better and there are sometimes problems with delivery but a solution is always being sought. Never again Vastiau Godiau

Order arrived after 11 weeks late, in addition incomplete. Received commercial gesture of 10%, it was not worth it, it is surely left for at least 3 months. Meanwhile everything is paid and order still not in order after 5 months.

Three years ago we bought six chairs from Vastiau ...

Three years ago we bought six chairs from Vastiau Godeau at a price of EUR 75 per chair. Three years later, just after the warranty expires, the legs of many of our chairs are starting to split. This demonstrates a poor quality of the chairs, as our use is quite conventional and the heaviest person at home weighs 69 kg. For a set of replacement legs, Vastiau Godeau asks us the exorbitant sum of 45 EUR per chair. When we went looking for a set of chair legs, we saw that they did not have any felt. We had to contact Vastiau Godeau again, who asked us another 36 EUR for 4 small felt discs ... which makes a total of 81 EUR per chair for the legs and the felt, whereas at the base the chairs did not cost than 75 EUR. It is an outrageous business practice to sell something shoddy for an affordable price and then sell the replacement parts for an exorbitant price! We will therefore choose to buy new chairs, and obviously not from Vastiau Godeau.

A large furniture store, in 2 parts: shopping (mainly take-out furniture) and the showroom. Excluding the discounts indicated, sometimes quite interesting, practically impossible to negotiate a discount even for a piece of furniture that is out of stock and / or a little damaged. Quite expensive furniture. Free delivery from 1250 . If you also buy at shopping do not hesitate to combine orders (ask the seller to link the purchase orders), and even stock items (if you are not in a hurry). In general, good advice, also in French (bravo). Varied choice. Shopping looks cheaper but it is not necessarily true, especially that delivery is not included (except combination with other orders). Little or no important furniture in stock, availability in 2 or even 3 months (salons, etc.), patience required. Delivery and after-sales service of very average quality, but it's typical of Belgium (and it's a Belgian who writes it). Easy parking and access. Quite pleasant cafeteria directly accessible from the showroom.
To conclude: good if you are looking for inspiration and or better than Ikea, or if you do not have time to go to Gaverzicht. If you want to be at the forefront of fashion, go your way and go to Roche Bobois (but it's much, much more expensive)

For those who knew the store a few years ago, this is only the shadow of what it was ...
Staff not found, desert store in this July 24, the choice is frankly reduced compared to the competition ... For the rest it remains subjective in terms of tastes and colors! We must admit that there is for all scholarships but overall we remain very disappointed.
For visiting the store there is 5-6 years for a dining room and much longer as a teenager who followed his parents ... I was expecting something else! This is the last time we have been traveling so far. Pity !

I did the stupid thing to buy my bed and that costs very expensive.

I am really disappointed with the vastiau Godeau after-sales service we bought a table that did not last more than 6 months which cracked from all sides for which reason I do not know in my opinion a manufacturing defect we bought all the furniture of the house behind the service so that he can give me a solution to this table but no one answers we are turned into jail they send me mail we come in shop we say we will come back to us but we still do not have an answer to that and I find it absurd because Ikea, which is not a luxury store or an excellent after-sales service, deals with problems right away and I find it mediocre to have to compare to Ikea the last time I had an answer about this table is that the supplier ask us to pay 700 so that he can fix the table as if we had damaged this table and this table has not did more than 6 months at the san house I think that when we invest to buy quality furniture is because we are also looking for quality after-sales service and comfort in the house !!!!!!!

So an extremely long delivery time of more to this day it lacks support feet and the original transformer for the relax. Hidden defects (support wood under the broken armchair, incorrect alignment of the living room, the leather not fixed in places, lack of fixing screws, ..... And then the photos after 15 days, leather is a living material, okay, but this one is obviously dead ... more than 3600 euros for that? The technician comes, tells me that he has never seen this but I am refused to replace it because it is, supposedly, normal. In view of the photos, you don't have to be an expert to see that I have been supplied with either poor quality or poorly worked leather. Moreover, the folds, from the start, in the armrests and the headrest is real proof. In addition, why the display model does not, obviously, have the same faults ... Is it bad faith or dishonesty?

Positively surprised by the choice of wardrobe proposed, the judicious and personalized advice of the saleswoman who listened attentively to me despite the fact that it is Sunday and there is a crowd.
I had kept the image of a showroom cluttered with furniture rather bling bling and had not returned to this store for more than twenty years.
Price choice, the most reasonable combining quality and aesthetics.
Much cheaper than IKEA and of a much higher quality.

3 months later! Still no delivery! It is announced that my Gard ordered November 4 should arrive late February, 16 weeks later.
So I filed a claim and asked for a refund of the deposit.
Positive answer ... I went back to IKEA!
