Going to this dealership's repair shop was the WORST decision of my life - if you love your car, run the other way!!!!!!
I've owned my Mazdaspeed protege for 9 years and it has been the BEST car - I had a check engine light come on for only 6 hours saying I had a lean engine and then went off and the car was totally fine but I decided to bring it into the dealership to diagnose anyways just to be proactive since I love my car. I was told a fuel pressure solenoid would fix it, spent $300 for the repair, and as I was driving home my check engine light came on (lean engine). I called the dealership back to advise them that my car had not been fixed, they said whoops we never actually looked , let us try again. Then I was told a $540 wastegate actuator would fix the car (they misquoted and it later became $640) and they had to order the part so I could come pick the car up in the meantime.
As soon as I got in my car, there was a very foul smell and then turning onto the highway around the corner from the dealership, I pressed on my gas pedal only to have the car not accelerate! Then I came to a stop and the car died, I turned right around and the car died 10 more times on the way back to Destination Mazda. Each time it died. the check engine, battery, and oil lights all came on and I thought that's weird, I recently had an oil change so as soon as I got into their lot I popped the hood and checked my dipstick and THERE WAS NO OIL IN MY CAR - THEY COULD HAVE SEIZED MY ENGINE!!!! The mechanics can't tell me where the oil went or why the car was breaking down next thing I know I'm being told my car is undrivable, a vacuum hose and another solenoid broke during their abusive "diagnostics" and they're saying my turbo broke but they will try to fix it. I kept questioning what happened to my car? They could not provide me with any real diagnostic test results (besides basic scanner codes) and claim that it's a "co-incidence" all this broke under their care.
At this point I started calling Mazda Canada Head Office begging for their help (it has now been 6 weeks and I am still waiting for them do anything). Destination Mazda claims they fixed my car but if it ever does that again I will need a new turbo. So they give me back my keys and a block away I m driving and notice my car has no boost. There was no way in hell I was going back to that location so I kept going with plans to search for another mechanic. 3 hours of driving later, my car loses acceleration and BREAKS DOWN AGAIN! I had to call a tow truck ($112), brought it to a different mechanic where they had to replace all the spark plugs, wire set, and ignition coils just to get it running again ($900) but the car still has no boost. I am now being told that my car is fixed but it s going to be another $1,500 bill and Mazda has taken zero responsibility for their gross negligence.
When I talked to their manager Oswald, he says to me: How would it look for business if we told you the car was unsafe? To which I said: Actually, it s your responsibility to tell people when their car is unsafe to drive. THIS WHOLE SITUATION IS DISGUSTING, I AM GOING TO FILE A LAWSUIT because it is absolutely unacceptable that my car took such a beating, my travel plans have now been interrupted, and I am stuck with thousands of dollars in repair bills due to their screw up.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recently picked up a 2017 CX-5 GT and I love my new car and the whole team at Destination Mazda was very accommodating with my schedule and any concerns I had were addressed. David is one of the sharpest guys there! From the first day I went in to look and test drive till I finally decided to get a Mazda 4 months later, he did not pressure me but kept me in the loop with special manufacturer rebate updates. Looking forward to the star treatment when I come for an oil change!

We very recently purchased a Mazda 5 from Destination Mazda, and received very courteous and prompt service from Garie Chan. The transaction was uncomplicated and stressless, and Garie took the time to properly review the information in the sales contract before we signed. When we picked up the vehicle a few days later (we were in no hurry) he was also very helpful in providing all the necessary driving instructions (instrumentation etc) for the vehicle.

Never buy here! They lie to you at every opportunity! I paid a $500 deposit that took 5 minutes for them to take but when I wanted it back because the car they promised me was actually severely damaged, it took them 45 minutes to give my money back because they claimed their only "finance" person was busy. Every other dealership has payment machines ready to refund you at the front desk but these scammers go out of their way to screw you! They also lied about how much warranty the car had left, they said around a year when it was only 4 months left! Nothing but scammers and liars and the true stereotype of sleezy lying car salesmen. This was all management by the way. The management themselves are the ones who did most of the lying.
The sales department at Destination is very good. Mike Maxwell was helping me for the whole time, his was really doing great job, more than expected. Their managers also doing a good job, no doubt for that. However, a bit disappointed at their financial service, you can certainly feel you are less priority after signed the contract, since their are always too busy to talk to you again. So over all, I give four stars.
Very Happy with the service provided to me in completing the purchase of my 2021 CX-5. ROMAN, JEROD & AHMAD of the sales team addressed EACH AND ALL of my specific concerns and needs and OVER-DELIVERED. NO BS & NO GAMES PLAYED, negotiating only took 10 mins and MAX 45 mins the next day to complete finance and insurance paperwork and drive off the lot with the new car. They valued my time & was treated with respect and as the most important person at that time. Even post-sale they ve checked up on me and still treat me the same...no additional sales tactics etc. I ve only dealt with the Destination Auto Group for car purchases over the last 15 years and I ve now made my 2nd purchase dealing ROMAN, JEROD & AHMAD THIS YEAR w/a third one coming for my wife. I know this sounds like a paid ad and the reviews out there are mixed but it s all about having realistic expectations. If u expect the world and car mats and come off entitled you won t get the experience I had nor should you. But everything said is legitimate...I ve NEVER had a quicker experience than that and never for a moment felt like they were just after a desperate sale unlike some other places *Cough* OPEN ROAD *Cough*...THANK YOU AGAIN...See u guys soon

I have never bought a car here, but the small amount of service they provided me left a good impression. I came from Alberta where I only needed a back license plate. I had the holder for the front from the factory, but didn't want to drill the paint myself to put it on. I called around a few places and most said they would charge me a small amount to do it. I think about $20. I called these guys and they were super friendly and offered to do it free. It's honestly 5 minutes of work and I appreciate that.
I don't anticipate needing another vehicle anytime soon, but If I need a oil change or anything else I'll definitely deal with them.
We live in Langley and came to Destination Mazda during our shopping tour for the new Mazda3. Roman and his sales manager were helpful and gave us a good deal. Our next Mazda will be definitely bought from them.

I wanted to give a shout out to my Sales Consultant, Sean Liu from Destination Mazda Vancouver. Recently I sent out an email blast to the surrounding Mazda Dealerships in the Vancouver area and he was one of the first to reply. I told him I was interested in buying a Mazda3 SKYACTIV and was wondering what they had in stock at the dealership. Sean invited me into the dealership but that was too much of an inconvenience for me at the time being I was carless and living in Kitsilano. Without hesitation Sean offered to come PICK ME UP -- now that is CUSTOMER SERVICE! I never knew that was something a dealership could do, but Sean immediately impressed me and I gladly accepted his offer to be picked up. Not only did he pick me up from my home, he arrived in the exact car I was looking to buy and offered for me to drive it back to the dealership.

I walked into Destination Mazda knowing I wanted the CX-3 and I could have gone to any Mazda dealership. BUT I am so happy I walked into Destination Mazda. The whole team made my experience amazing! There was not one person working that didn't make me feel welcome! If I had questions they answered it! I dealt directly with Adrian Tsang in Sales! He went above and beyond during my whole process! I never once felt like he was trying to sell me things I didn't need. He's very genuine and just wanted me to get exactly what suited my life, business and pleasure! I will be sending everyone I know that is in need of a car his way for sure! On the finance side of things I dealt with Joe Cook, he was such a pleasant man! There is no such thing as grey area with him. He will not let you leave his office unless you understand where every cent is going! You hear these horror stories about dealerships all the time. With these two and their team, I don't think that's possible and I appreciated everything they did!!

I've been to a few Mazda dealerships before I made my final decision to purchase my 2019 CX-3 here at Destination Mazda, main reason was because I couldn't find a good connection with any of the other stores. My experience at here was nothing but amazing. My advisor Stacey Scharf was a pleasure to deal with, he was patient with me and very knowledgeable with the Mazda product, I also did not feel pressured at all making the decision. The assistant sales manager Ken Chan, was very helpful, experienced and a delight to talk to, making sure I feel welcomed at the facility. The finance manager Greg was informative and worked extremely hard on the process of my approval. All the staff at Destination Mazda were friendly and it made me feel very comfortable being there. I cannot be happier with my CX-3 purchase and would definitely recommend Destination Mazda to anyone looking for a Mazda!

I am very happy I finally bought the perfect CX-9 from Destination Mazda. It took me a bit over two weeks to make the decision but KEN CHAN was very patient with me, he took the time to explain the pros and cons between the CX-5 and CX-9 then figuring out the features I need and the features I thought I need but it's just I want. The professionalism from this sales manager is second to none, I would definitely recommend him to people who is looking for a Mazda.

Looking for a larger vehicle, we traded in our Hyundai Accent for a Mazda CX-5 in January and the whole process at Destination Mazda went very smoothly. Our sales consultant, Mike Maxwell, was very informative and patient with us....we never felt any sales pressure with him and Manager Brett was also very helpful. Between the both of them, we felt we received a very good deal on our purchase. The customer service here was so good that our friends had joined us at the dealership to kill some time and they ended up buying a CX-5 that day with Mike as well!

I bought my first car from them and thought they were great. They were nice and understanding to me and did everything I asked of them that they could do. The car had a recall notice and I asked them to call up the Volkswagen to check about what the recall was about and get more details on it. When they did the next day, they called and told me what they had learnt. I bought a used 2013 Volkswagen Golf Wolfsburg edition and I am loving it so far. The sales person that sold me the car was Garie Chan, and he wasn't pushy like some of the other car salesman I had experienced and he was with me every step of the way. I would love to recommend Destination Mazda Vancouver for their customer service and I will be going back to get my car serviced by them even though its a Mazda dealership.

Recently I bought a 2015 Mazda3 and that is the most pleasurable car purchase experience at Destination Mazda. I was greeted promptly as I stepped into the dealership by David Lee enthusiastically. He was friendly, knowledgeable and answered all my questions patiently with professionalism. On the test drive he showed me the maneuverability of the new Mazda3. Like the uphill assistance, that the Mazda do not roll back at a slop, the advantage of independent suspension. I was sold on the car during the test drive.
We returned to the dealership, David and his manager Brett work out my payment terms very clearly without any pressure, not the usual pushy type sale. They also gave me a very reasonable trade in value for my VW Rabbit.
At time of delivery, David spent time showing, explaining all the features in detail to me. He also touched base with me several times after the delivery, showing he really care about his customer.

I was looking for a car for the last 6 months and decided on a Mazda 5. I went through an online broker and met Jim Sali, sales specialist who offer me the best price and closed the deal within 2 days.
The Mazda 5 is very versatile car with many storage compartments and large cargo area when the 2nd/3rd row seating is down. The sliding doors are handy in tight parking space and the vehicle accelerates effortlessly with 6 adults.

2 phone calls during the middle of the day, and an promo email everyday for a whole week since I've spoken to the online chat bot. WOW! Didn't buy or look at any cars but for real, whoever is on the marketing team please fix your sales funnel ....if a potential customer doesn't reply after the 3rd or 4th email, get a hint please? this isn't some online shopping cart abandonment where 10 reminders are needed..if ppl need to buy a car they will know where to reach you on their own time. People are also working midday & may or may be not be in an important meeting to whomever tried calling...

I had an amazing experience with the team at Destination Mazda Vancouver. When I reached there, I was attended by guest advisor Ibrahim, who provided 5-star customer services. He is very knowledgeable and very honest. He was never pushy and answered all my questions (almost 50-60) and listened to my need and guided me with the right vehicle. I had a bad experience with the salespersons from other companies but Ibrahim made me realise how buying a car can be an enjoyable experience. His honesty and upfront nature made us buy a new Mazda 3. He also helped us to decide the trim and colour. Even after we bought our car, Ibrahim is still in touch with us to check if everything is good with our car. Jared from finance department also provided amazing service. He was very friendly and very professional. COVID-19 protocol was implemented nicely. Overall I must say, I had an amazing experience with Destination Mazda Vancouver. Special thanks to Ibrahim and Jared for making it a wonderful experience. I will consider going back to Ibrahim for our second car in future.

Very Satisfactory service and very accommodating staff
Unfortunately I did not have a good experience here. After dealing with another dealership and being told I have to wait 3-5 days for my car, I was able to locate my car here, or at least that's what I was told. I arrived that day to collect my car and was told they made a mistake and it wasn't the correct car. We began to negotiate the price, and they refused to drop the price any further and seemed to be rude during the process. On top of it they charge a $399 Doc fee... I decided to go to a different dealer ship, where I was treated with respect, got the car i wanted, and at the price I wanted plus some bouns'. I will be recommending the dealership I ended up getting the car from and not this one.
We had one if not the most pleasant car buying experience at Destination Mazda October 24, 2013. As soon as we entered the showroom we were greeted enthusiastically by Matthew Mathers. He patiently showed us and explained all the different features of the CX5 Mazda. He was very knowledgeable and professional throughout the process along with a very personal touch, not the typical pushy salesman. When we were negotiating the price, he and the sales manager entertained all our offers. They went out of their way to give us the best deal. We got the best value for our money and a very satisfying car buying experience. We will definitely refer Matthew.
Wanted to buy a used vehicle, asking price was acceptable. Waited days for a response, was told sales was too busy. Offered to put a large deposit to hold vehicle. Would not work with me at all. They can keep their vehicles, and I'll give my money to a useful sales team.
