When it comes to locks, replacement keys, and safes, these guys know their stuff. I've been dealing with them 30 + Years for my locks and keys and Security Safes. Highly recommend them.

First time asked for 2 copies. They gave me one n said try this first i dont want to sell you two if this specific cut is wrong. It didnt work. Brought it back tries the other cut, which worked.

Fantastic service and everything you can imagine related to locks, keys, keychains, etc. Several attentive and helpful staff with a level of expertise that is hard to find at a big box store.

Been here a few times, they are polite and have been there forever, but their pricing is pretty steep in my opinion, unless it is an emergency I'd rather call around and arrange getting transponder keys cut and matched to vehicles elsewhere. Very expensive, quoted me $90 per transponder key for the key, cut and program EACH, but if I supplied the key they would charge $78 EACH-only taking $12 off for the key. Too much, found another who would do both for $89.

Van's is the only one to use. I've used Van's for 60+ years. Excellence in service. You'd have to be downright stupid to go elsewhere.

All I wanted was to make a couple copies of keys and make a key to fit a door lock deadbolt & knob combo I had, which I had long ago had the keys lost to. Well, turns out the key I wanted to make copies for (all the same pool house for an estate) also generally fit the lock combo I had, though different tooth sequence.

The gentleman who was helping me, Mr Harry, had a mishap and the tumblers got rearranged in the knob lock. This was not a big deal, nor was I upset (we all make mistakes). I did not bring the deadbolt with me, since making a key for a lock didn't require me to bring both lock cylinders, just the one. Harry insisted in having me bring the deadbolt and take care of me free of charge for his mishap. I did need the knob reinstalled this night before leaving the job site, so I left and returned with the deadbolt, along with leaving someone at the estate to keep anyone or critters out. I did expect to pay for at least the copies and making of the keys, so I forced a tip on the great guy. He was such a sweetheart & you can't help but want to pay when a business handles mishaps so well. He was so sincere & genuine... it's just so rare for me to come across people with this type of work practice.

I feel the need to praise & reward businesses like these... that take care of their customers!! This is a mom & pop type place, the type that is friendly, willing to help and even go out of their way to correct mistakes or please customers. These are the stores that commonly get squeezed out of business by the big corporate giants stomping them out... which by the way, RARELY treat customers with respect or warranty their work.

I will go out of my way sometimes just to support these small businesses. This place is no exception. I've been going here for years, especially when I'm out in this area. I know my keys will work. I know I'll get what I pay for, and the people who work there are so pleasant!! You won't regret shopping here for any of your lock needs. Safes, knobs, deadbolts, padlocks, hideaways, door struts or hardeware, and the list goes on!!

Brian is seriously a life saver. He just came out on a Saturday night to re-key several locks, after our garage was broken into and a bike with a spare key on it was stolen. He came over quickly, got the job done perfectly, and was very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

1 word review- WOW. We are expecting a huge snowstorm tomorrow so I was assuming they'd be swamped. They sent someone to my house within 15 minutes of me calling! The locksmith couldn't have been more helpful, polite and courteous. Extremely knowledgeable. I will recommend Van's to anyone and everyone! Customer for life!

What a great little shop! Forget the larger format stores. If you need a specialized lock, advice or simply a key made. The people who work here are very knowledgeable, happy to help and wont rush you out the door. Its refreshing to still find these small community based old time like shops. I would highly recommend going here for all your lock and security needs!

Had my key brake off in my front door. They were able to get someone out to my house in 20 minutes. I was back in my house about five minutes after they arrived and got a new key made by Van s on the spot. Van s really made an unexpected inconvenience not be something that ruined my day. Thanks!

Been here multiple times. Once I brought in a key blank for an antique motorcycle that I bought on line. I showed it to the woman at the front desk and she said "We have these in stock". Last week I needed copies of keys for an even older antique car so I skipped the internet and sure enough they had as many blanks as I could want.

Wouldn't go anywhere else to have keys made - can't compare to Home Depot or Lowe's. These guys are locksmiths. I've had them re-key and replace locks - reliable and timely service.

Great customer service. I needed 4 matching locksets for my new house. They were able to special order our locks and key them all in less than a week. We went with the Schlage brand as I have had locks from other brands fall apart on me over time. And we wanted to match the original hardware throughout our older home.

I also went back to fix a key issue on my van. If you are having any sort of lock problems stop in and get your problem fixed right rather than waste your time online or in the big box stores that don't know the answers.

I have been getting keys made at Vans for 20 years now. Usually 2-3 trips per year about 9 keys per trip. In that time I have only had one set of keys that did not work. They made a new set without any problems.
