Very good food! Very nice tent, but in the slightly higher price range

Had a wonderful meeting afternoon in their upper room. Nice lunch, nice smoothie. Equipment worked well, endless tea. Only the church bells were very loud during the presentation

Excellent hotel and restaurant conveniently located in the city center of Woerden. Walking distance to train station. Historical building has unique features that add to the cozy ambiance of the place. Helpful friendly staff! COLD air conditioning was much appreciated during the heat wave. Highly recommended!

Very good food and cozy restaurant. Tarte Tatin of tomato is a very tasty starter and the sea bass tasted excellent.

Delicious food with very personal and friendly service. You must have eaten here. Not cheap, but for what you pay for.

It is a nice location for lunch or dinner. Food is fine 1 minus you have to wait a long time for your drinks. And with the tasting of cheese and meat products, a little more bread is allowed.

How we enjoyed this weekend!

After a warm welcome, we were escorted to our beautiful room. (superior Suite with king-size bed recommended!)
The room is tastefully decorated with a very nice bathroom.
When we had unpacked our things we were surprised with a nice welcome cocktail.

The 4-course dinner was delicious, the cook brought the courses to the room about every half hour. This allowed you to eat at your leisure.

Nothing is too much to ask here, drinks are brought to the room by the hostess within a minute. Good wine!

Delicious breakfast which you can compose yourself in advance using a menu. You can also determine the time yourself (of course before 11:00 in connection with checking out). Here too they were exactly on time! fantastic!

This weekend we drove to the hotel by motorbike, we were allowed to park it at the hotel on site which was very nice.

If you want to be pampered, then a visit to Van Rossum Stadshotel Woerden is definitely recommended!

Stylish old building where you can eat in an attractive restaurant and sleep in a warmly decorated room. Staff is attentive with celebrations and gives excellent service. Worth repeating and advisable.

Beautifully converted old ammunition depot. Old and new very nicely mixed. Slept well, very friendly welcome. It almost seemed like coming home. And on the ground floor an opportunity to have a nice meal or a drink.

The most charming hotel experience I've ever had. Hanske welcomed my wife and I warmly, allowed us to park our motorcycle inside the gate, and walked us to our room for an introduction. Moments later she brought us a personalized, hand-written card congratulating us on our honeymoon. The history of this place dates back to 1762 as the city's armory with its original timbers proudly displayed throughout. The restaurant is first rate and the cheese fondue was FANTASTIC! Breakfast in bed was fabulous. We did not want to leave but will definitely return. I would love to return annually.

The quality of their products and the preparation is truly sublime.
But in the end it is the people who work there that make the difference.
I got married on August 20, we were looking for a nice location for the party for our wedding.
We stayed and ate in many hotels, and I wrote to and visited a dozen hotels for our party. Often things went wrong with the acquaintance. I was missing something at all these hotels. Such as sincere involvement, friendliness, hospitality, many of them immediately a no.
When in doubt, and when in doubt, I say don't.
Eventually I went to look at a location that was a lot further in terms of travel time.
Viewed photos of Hotel van Rossum on their website, my feeling said, you should contact them.
From the first introductory meeting, the lady on the phone surprised me with her kindness, involvement and hospitality.
We were invited to discuss our wishes.
Nothing was too much, everything was possible, where at other hotels I literally stood in front of a closed door when I asked ... would I be allowed to view a room because the atmosphere and the feeling are very important to us.
Of course not a problem, in fact.
I was given a grand tour of the entire hotel.
Sold that was me.
We had lunch to taste the quality of their products.
This was great.
With this positive experience we decided to celebrate our party here.
Our party has become a resounding success and everyone enjoyed it.
Nothing was missing.
The attention of the hostess who was assigned to our guests did a great job. Friendly, attentive, attentive, with an eye for detail.
I have not experienced this treatment in any hotel in the Netherlands.
Not only my wife and I thought that.
The reactions of our guests were also very enthusiastic about the party, the accommodation, the ambiance, the care, the quality of their home-made products and the love for the profession.

We have booked 3 family suites with breakfast together with the family and the children.
Here too, the service and the diversity of fresh products was truly immense.
The rooms were really great, beds wonderful and the facilities have thought of everything.
My experience is when you have a party or go out for dinner with a group of people, there are always people who have something to complain about.
Really the whole group keeps talking about it and sends the dager after several messages to thank us for the successful party.
That's where you show it.
You take the time and effort to do it right, but that offers no guarantee.

Our party has become an unforgettable success thanks to the people who work in the hotel.
Practicing their profession with love and transferring it to the guests.
We will definitely come back to this hotel.

Lunch: excellent, costs consistent with quality delivered. Friendly and attentive service.

Beautiful location, nicely decorated and smooth and pleasant service. However, the quality and originality of the dishes is mediocre. That detracts from the whole experience, a missed opportunity.

Never been there doe dinner. Only for coffee. But its a nice environment, with frienly people

Great service when it turned out that something had gone wrong on our side with the reservation. The staff helped us tremendously to deliver a great overnight stay.

Very nice here always. Food and drink is very tasty. Much on the more expensive side.

Good food with nice atmosphere. Pricey though. Less suitable for children. Possibility of sleeping alone you have to be able to withstand the sound of leaf blowers around 8:00 am, because they have never heard of a broom.

The waitress was very rude. The steak was cold. The veggies and sauce were well prepared. Nice vibe that was sadly over shadowed by the rude waitress.

What are great place, if you love history and love food. It was built in the old ammunitions depot and you can still see the old world rustic charm with the wooden beams and structure that adds a lovely theme to the place. The ambience is great.

Albeit a little expensive, the food and service were great and they have a nice range even though the menu may appear limited. The place has a long wine list with suggested pairing for the menu.

The hotel is beautifully situated in the center of Woerden close to the cozy Kerkplein where various shops and eateries are located. The hotel staff is extremely customer friendly. Food (breakfast and dinner, lunch I don't know) is very good and is prepared in the open kitchen. The cheese cake is very tasty, very powerful. Half a dot had been more than enough for me. The rooms (we had a classic suite) are complete with kettle and nespresso machine. Everything is designed for sustainable energy and water consumption. Nice detail of the rooms are the authentic original beams.

Beautiful building, where you can sit comfortably with good service. And also delicious food. What does a man want more....

The most surprising hotel and restaurant we have ever been to. An absolute must!
