Van der Valk Hotel Emmeloord Review

Good hotel good package and attentive friendly staff!

Everything was good .... welcome .... food ..... sleep .... breakfast. Everything so

Called for a room. According to the gentleman on the phone, there were no rooms available. Then booked online and apparently there was a room available. Then only booked. Can't find it. Hotel is also due for replacement.

Fish water for the hotel, great room, excellent breakfast!

The restaurant is highly recommended. Smooth friendly service. Delicious eaten. Tenderloin, duck breast, bullet steak. All three main courses fantastic! Beautiful carpaccio and also the mustard soup tasted excellent. More

Good hotel, unfortunately no air conditioning in the rooms.

The rooms are good only no air conditioning in the room and the TV channels are not many in Brabant there are many more but the location of the hotel is very quiet and the food is very tasty

Being spoiled with tasty sweets and rose petals in the room because it was our anniversary, this was a nice surprise.

Nice room, great beds. Coffee machine, mini fridge. Cleaning room, fine.
Breakfast, neat corona taste and plenty of choice. A la carte, plenty of choice and tasted delicious. Will be back for sure. Friendly staff.

Can not compete with the newer Valk hotels, but good food with good service

Went to the restaurant and they didnt note our reservation for 15 people so we had to sit at seperate tables

We left, the place was understaffed, and we saw immediately that incompetence was complete. Van der Valk is highly unpredictable, but this wad too much. Go elswhere!

Here we come with a certain regularity. The staff is very friendly. The dishes are excellent. From me the choice of dishes may be a little more extensive. Hence the four stars. Recommended.

Lovely hotel with excellent staff, everything in tip-top order

Unfortunately something had gone wrong with the reservation that was made. Fortunately, this was picked up by the manager and properly resolved. We have eaten in the restaurant where absolutely nothing to criticize. Very nice people, top service and great food.

Reasonable hotel, slightly outdated, no air-con (it was 32 degrees), dated bathroom with little comfort and logic in setup, breakfast consists of waiting in line and scant choices, such as no salmon, fresh cut fruit mostly canned, green tea was up. The manager present clearly took no initiative to satisfy me as a customer and did not know how to deal with this

2 April ate in the restaurant. After the children had finished their Toucan menu, we had to wait another 40 (!) Minutes for our dish. In the meantime, none of the ministry seen. Not asked if we wanted another drink. Even during dinner no question if everything was satisfactory. Eventually I was presented with a completely different bill at the checkout. It contained very different things from our orders. Then another wrong receipt. Eventually, without apologies and the question whether everything else was satisfactory, left. We were apparently not a guest, but passers-by who came to eat ... We are regular vd Valk visitors, but do not come to Emmeloord very soon. Sneek knows how to treat your guests ...!

Great food. Unfortunately, the service decreases as it gets busier.

Assortment of pastries consisted of only 2 pastries. Dark interior. Moderate light. Espresso not too hot. No, there are better locations in this chain

Friendly staff. Food was fine and good hot. Operation and serving was perfect. Highly recommended

Spacious rooms, hygiene should be better, no thermostatic tap, heating pipes in floor, ensure very warm room. It became drowsy and sleepy. Main course Chateau briand was unknown in this Van der Valk unfortunately. Touredos was baked very red. asked.
Dame blanche was in a word bad, ice cream of euroshopper quality.
All in all the worst Van der Valk ever experienced by me and my wife.
We are a fan of Van der Valk.
And can often be found in many Hotels.

Soulless Hotel Chain; Restaurant acceptable, but not outstanding.

Have a drink or eat while the car is charging. Friendly staff.

This is a beautiful van der Valk, and we had a delicious dinner there. Nice smooth service. Highly recommended.
