My daughter s wedding shower was held at Valley Inn and we had trouble getting in touch with the event planner. When we arrived an hour before to decorate, the staff had not been told and they scurried to find the flowers and tea lights that had been delivered the day before. Thank goodness for Lauren and the other wait staff who stepped up and made the day wonderful. Lauren should be an event planner. She is a gem and I will recommend Valley as long as Lauren is involved. The food was delicious and the day was made special by your wait staff. It could have been a disaster.
Great food and great service. Stephanie S. is always a pleasure to deal with. Her mural downstairs is beautiful.
Really enjoyed our evening last night on the patio. Food was delicious. Our server, Stephanie S. was fantastic! She suggested the Grilled Rockfish and my friend and I shared the calamari and fried green tomatoes. All were cooked perfectly and were quite tasty. I was blown away to discover that Stephanie painted the mural downstairs. Definitely will return!
Stephanie S. is amazing. Service is always on point, speedy and always with a smile. Her painting on the wall downstairs makes you feel like you're at the beach. She's the best!
I loved my entire experience at the Valley Inn! The atmosphere was amazing! I felt like I was on vacation. My server Steph K. was outstanding. She was attentive, professional, and on the ball! All of her menu suggestions were right on the money! The meatball appetizer was delicious. I will definitely return to this restaurant and highly recommend that you give it a try!!
We made a 6:00 reservation on a beautiful Sunday night to sit on the porch. Apparently the porch means that you are inside next to windows, not outside. We were not seated until 6:20, a whole 20 minutes after our reservation time. We ordered food right away and the appetizers came quickly (the popcorn shrimp was delicious). Three of us all ordered the same salad, and one person ordered the cheesesteak sliders. It took a whole hour for our food to arrive. The server maybe checked in once this whole time. The food was okay but not worth the hour wait. It was extremely busy and in my opinion, does not live up to the hype.
The food was amazing! We celebrated my brothers graduation here since it's his favorite place. The calamari was cooked perfectly, and the wings are amazing. The service is always great, Kevin was an awesome waiter!
Delicious food, fast/friendly service, lovely atmosphere.
My boyfriend and I went to Valley Inn on Friday night around 6:30pm. We opted to sit in the heated tent which is first come first serve. There were a few inconsistencies in the seating arrangements and covid protocol. When we arrived it was full, and the hostess told us it would be about a 10 min wait, which was fine. But then another group came and she told them the same thing... and then offered to take down their number so she could call them when their table was ready. Why didn't she do that for us? Then she sort of was like ... oh yeah and can I get your number too? Odd. We waited inside the lobby until she called us that our table was ready. Once we were seated, other parties arrived and their temperatures were taken, but ours was never taken. I would just say there needs to be a consistent protocol for guests regarding seating and covid.
Other than that confusion, everything was excellent.
We ordered a few cocktails and split some grilled oysters and entrees. We got a half dozen grilled oysters which were delicious. For entrees we got the lobster burrito and the chicken pot pie. The lobster burrito was something different and a little spicy! It was tasty but I am biased as I love lobstah! The chicken pot pie was surprisingly excellent - the crust was buttery and flaky with the filling savory and HOT! I would highly recommend it.
Our server was great and everything came out very quickly. There was also a live guitarist who was pretty good. Our whole meal took about an hour which was great!
Overall, we had a great time and we will definitely be back!!
We had a wonderful evening! Our server Stephanie S could not have been more attentive and accommodating! Stephanie was/is one of best servers at the Valley Inn!...Henry W and Randolph T
